I'm up the country at my grandparents cabin for the weekend and decided on doing some vocals!

I'm not the best at vocals :,) I'm only familiar with barking, growling/snarling and a lil bit of howling! I'm trying to get better with vocals related to my other theriotypes! :3

went to the lake today (that’s why requests were closed on my sideblog) and I got the most insane mental/vocal shift!!!

any tips for making your voice pitch higher? i feel it would help with some coyote vocals that i wish to try out!

i already know how to bark and howl, but i seem to have a problem making the pitch way higher than usual.

Finally did some vocals !! If they sound quiet its probably because,, I did them in my room lolz,, i have been practicing for a while but barely so there kinda bad 8P !! creds to @sillywolfdogwro3m for the photo edit <3 :3 !!

@thatdoggirl29 something like this! It adds more of a gruff sound to howls and barks and looks like your snout! (more bass to it aswell so you sound like a big doggy!!) when growling keep a small spot between your paws like this or closed!:

When barking do a closed to open thing, like "snapping" your jaws to bite (or bark) it adds a more realistic bit to it:

tonight's art offering: charlie's future dog, winona! he fosters her for about six months, trying and failing to get her adopted, before giving in and adopting her himself, making her his first actual pet. alistaire is less than enthused at the prospect of a large slobbery dog inhabiting his apartment, but winona very quickly grows on him, especially after she bonds with his cat enemy of the state.

An important thing to keep in mind for wolf therians learning vocals is that every wolf howl is unique... every wolf has their own sort of howl. They dont all sound alike. So those 'wolf howl tutorials' are not a rulebook...you dont have to sound like that...your howl is yours. and thats good
