I've seen people post about their kins and I thought I could share about my kin as a cattle dog/blue heeler. I've always been aware of phantom limbs. I've had tails, ears, wings, talons, claws you name it. I always thought there was something wrong with me, that it was weird to never feel right in my own body. That I never wanted to live like humans did, I'm just not cut out for it. Times where I cried beacuse I didn't know what I was, that I was wrong. 2021-2022 I found out about therianthropy, I didn't think that I could of been alter human because I didn't always deal with the struggle of being human, it was triggered in certain circumstances like stress, overstimulation, being out in nature, being around other animals and sometimes just looking at them triggered this. But it didn't feel valid. Time skip to this year, I did more research into alterhumanity / therianthropy and it all started to click. I found out that I was a cattle dog therian, my dog that I've had for years is a cattle dog and I've spiritually and mentally connected with her better than I ever have a human. It feels so freeing to finally know what I am, even if it does come with the fact that I'm trapped in this human body. I struggle with quads sadly but I do try to do my best, sometimes I'm triggered just to do it no matter how "bad" I am at it. I wish I had my fangs, so I can sink my teeth into food, it would make eating so much more enjoyable.. I love meowing and barking. I love sitting like my kind, I love being around my kind I love it. I love this community so much I wouldn't of felt complete without the help of everyone here..

do any other canine therians get like,,,, incredibly territorial?? idk maybe it’s the autism but when my brother comes in the room i get rlly stressed out and irritated. he doesn’t even have to be touching anything but i can physically feel my ears pinning back and i just need him to leave as soon as possible. and i end up getting kinda mean cuz i’m just so preoccupied with getting him out.

or like my friend had slept over at my house and slept in my bed and i couldn’t even sleep all i could think about was how she was messing up the blankets + plushies.

it’s not that i don’t trust these people or anything, but these things are mine, my bedroom is mine, and nobody else should be allowed in/messing with it. it’s also rlly hard to share stuff, and i’m not even trying to me mean or anything but i come off that way :((

anyway yeah i rlly struggle with this and if this is common/others experience this too lmkkkk ^_^ cuz i feel guilty that i’m so quick to bare my teeth and snap :(
