I've had my own oc/self insert character for TOS since I was in middle school. I'm now in my 30's. Not only have I created my own episodes for her, I've inserted her into existing episodes, created a whole alt timeline where she's the one that dies saving the Enterprise in TWoK. I've also created a whole life for the actress that would play her (basically me born in 1942). I've imagined who she would marry and what other shows and movies she would star in. Deep down, I know it's cringe but in my lowest days, daydreaming about her and the Enterprise's adventures helped me survive. I thought the older I'd get, the more I'd leave her behind. But even now, when I'm having trouble sleeping, I'll pick an episode or movie and start playing it in my head to help me relax.

Note from Cleo: This isn't cringe at all. Nothing that helps you survive and makes you feel better could ever be cringe.

In case anyone doesn’t know why Channing Tatum randomly showed up in “Deadpool & Wolverine” as Gambit:

Way back when the Fox X-Men universe was still in full swing, Tatum signed on to play Gambit in a movie. I believe he signed on after Gambit appeared in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. The project was stuck in development hell, then cancelled. So this was Ryan Reynolds’ tribute to the cancelled project and why Gambit believed he was born in the Void.

I know we all talk about Spirk in Wrath of Khan and Search for Spock but Voyage Home has some of my personal favorite scenes between the two of them.

I love their argument over Italian food, Kirk trying to get Spock to stop swearing, Kirk trying to get Spock to call him by first name again, and I especially love the scene where McCoy goes "He trusts your guess more than most people's facts".

Leonard Nimoy was so valid for saying that the Generations movie script needed a page 1 rewrite. I will forever wonder how much better that movie would have been if he had gotten to contribute to the script and direct the movie.
