I love this ad. Donna Alexander was the first woman of color to become the face of Breck Shampoo as a "Breck Girl"; a national advertising campaign started in 1946. Some famous Breck Girls include Kim Basinger, Cybill Shepherd and Brooke Shields. Donna Alexander went on to become a veterinarian and head of the Cook County Illinois Animal and Rabies Control until her death in 2018. Also, she had an amazing smile.
