Almost Parent Material
When Dan and Ellie decided to change the titles from "cousin" and "acquaintance from another reality" to "father," Danny could honestly say he panicked. He wasn't a teenager anymore but he wasn't sure if he wanted kids; well, it's not like he had much of a choice.
Maybe it was a ghost thing but the moment Dan and Ellie (kids, his kids) said those words, something inside his core froze, in a good way, it was a comfortable, comforting cold, like a Christmas morning.
The problem was that while the situation made him extremely happy, Danny didn't know how to be a father, and the Fentons were horrible references. So he made the most logical leap: online forums.
He found himself chatting with an online user named KNight quite frequently, he seemed to have also been thrown into early parenthood a couple of years ago and was still struggling with it, but overall he had a couple of good tips.
KNight soon transitioned to Bather and then just Bruce, every time Danny talked to him it felt like they were a couple of little old ladies gossiping. Between the random chatter and the parenting advice he was actually having fun.
So, when Bruce invited him over to his house two years later to officially meet, Danny naturally panicked. Dan and Ellie were laughing at him in the background, the little shits.

New Business Marketing Tips and Tricks for Success
Starting a new business can be an exhilarating adventure, but it also comes with its fair share of challenges, especially in the competitive landscape of today's marketplace. To stand out and thrive, effective marketing is crucial. Here are four essential marketing tips and tricks to help your new business succeed:
Define Your Target Audience and Create Customer Personas:
One of the first steps in crafting a successful marketing strategy for your new business is to identify and understand your target audience. Who are your ideal customers, and what are their needs, preferences, and pain points? Creating customer personas can help you visualize and humanize your audience, making it easier to tailor your marketing efforts effectively.
Start by conducting market research to gather data about your potential customers. Analyze demographics, psychographics, and behavior patterns to create detailed customer personas. These personas should include information like age, gender, income, interests, and pain points.
Once you have a clear understanding of your target audience, customize your marketing messages and strategies to resonate with them. Craft compelling content, advertisements, and promotions that address their specific needs and desires. By speaking directly to your ideal customers, you'll increase the chances of building meaningful connections and driving conversions.
Leverage the Power of Digital Marketing:
In the digital age, online presence and digital marketing are indispensable for any new business. Here are some essential digital marketing strategies to consider:
a. Build a User-Friendly Website: Your website is often the first point of contact for potential customers. Ensure that it is well-designed, easy to navigate, and mobile-responsive. Optimize it for search engines (SEO) to improve your visibility in search results.
b. Content Marketing: Create valuable and relevant content that educates, entertains, or solves problems for your target audience. Blog posts, videos, infographics, and social media updates can all be part of your content marketing strategy.
c. Social Media Marketing: Identify the social media platforms where your audience is most active and engage with them there. Develop a content calendar and use a mix of organic and paid content to reach a wider audience.
d. Email Marketing: Build and nurture an email list to stay in touch with your customers. Send personalized and relevant content, offers, and updates to keep them engaged and informed.
e. Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PPC): Consider running targeted PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads to reach potential customers actively searching for your products or services.
Emphasize Customer Relationships and Engagement:
In a competitive market, building and maintaining strong customer relationships is vital. Consider these strategies to enhance customer engagement:
a. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Respond promptly to inquiries and address customer concerns with care. Happy customers are more likely to become loyal advocates for your brand.
b. Personalization: Use customer data and segmentation to personalize your marketing messages and offers. People appreciate tailored experiences that cater to their unique preferences.
c. Encourage User-Generated Content: Encourage customers to share their experiences with your products or services on social media or review platforms. User-generated content can build trust and credibility.
d. Loyalty Programs: Reward repeat customers with loyalty programs, discounts, or exclusive access to new products or services. Loyalty programs can foster long-term relationships and increase customer retention.
Monitor, Analyze, and Adapt:
Marketing is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor. To continually improve your strategies, track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adapt based on the data:
a. Use Analytics Tools: Employ tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing metrics to monitor the performance of your marketing efforts.
b. A/B Testing: Experiment with different marketing approaches and compare their results through A/B testing. This allows you to refine your strategies over time.
c. Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends, competitors, and evolving customer preferences. Stay open to adjusting your marketing plan as needed.
In conclusion, successful marketing for a new business involves understanding your audience, utilizing digital strategies, fostering customer relationships, and staying adaptable. By implementing these tips and tricks, your new business can navigate the competitive landscape and carve out its own path to success.

Any tips for an online summer class? I'm struggling making a weekly routine that factors in work, social life etc.
hii, so sorry i took so long to get back you! i've gotten so poor at answering asks.
i have never taken an online summer class, but here are some tips from my uni zoom days:
start your day early. i know it's really tempting to roll out of bed and log into your class online, but you won't be able to keep a structured schedule this way.
and by schedule, make a schedule... for real! wake up and go to bed at the same time every day. eat breakfast at the same time every day. heck, even go for a walk in the morning and make it your "pretend" commute as if you were going to class in person.
get a planner, start using google calendar, whatever it is, you need to something to help you stay organized of deadlines, assignments, readings, office hours, and ofc, your class times. this will also help you figure out where you can accomodate (non-school) work and your social life.
online school can have you sitting for long periods of time, don't forget to stare up from your computer every 20 minutes just to look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds before coming back to your screen.
water and exercise!! this doesn't have to be super strenuous, but take a sip from a water bottle every 15 minutes, if you're on call with a professor during office hours, consider having your camera off (if allowed) and take the call outside during a walk. please remember to not neglect your health!
set up a designated work environment that is ideally, not in your room. if not, make a designated corner for in your room that is just for work. if you're not in that area/room you are not working - this helps your mental health and focus, which is why it's bad to work in your bed because your brain associates it with sleep!
turn your camera on. i know it SUUUUCKS, but this will help keep your focus in class if your concious that anyone can look at you.
get a application blocker and put your phone on do not disturb to limit outside distractions.
actively participate becuase it helps with information recall and deepens your unerstanding of the course material!
start an assisgnment as soon as as it is assigned - slow and steady wins the race!
i hope this helpful - good luck, you got this!

୨✦୧┆How to STOP overthinking? girl manual
Summary: When you overthink a lot you usually get anxious because your mind wanders in your worst moments, right? well here I show you how to overcome this
Practice being grateful by diverting your thoughts to moments, people or things that you like and be grateful that you have them or review why you like to think about them so much,This helps calm anxiety and relax you
Try to write down the things that make u feel bad about yourself, it can be in a diary, in your notes, or u can even draw it, this helps leave the bad things on paper and get rid of those negative thoughts
Singing, believe it or not, this can help a lot, listen to your favorite music (even better if you have headphones) and start singing it pls try to make this music with lyrics that you know by heart, this can also relax you
Dancing,ok, if you don't like singing, moving your body definitely helps you relax. It can be with happy music with a rhythm that you like ₍ᐢ › ༝ ‹ ᐢ₎
You girls are not going to like this option... but believe me, it will help you to tell someone you trust what is happening. It will take a weight off your shoulders and without a doubt it will no longer live in your head.
Cry,there is a great need to cry when u feel overloaded and believe me, sometimes it is better to give in, crying helps you release and then relax.
Thxso much 4 read ଯ( ॢᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)

I know y'all are good for it, so I'm turning to you, Tumblr, for information.
I'm looking to further my education via online classes to become an editor (for writers), but I don't want to do a full-on bachelor's degree. I'm currently taking a Comprehensive English course on Penn Foster, so I'll get that certificate when I complete it, but I know it's going to take a lot more than that.
Note: I'm hoping that the course gets a little more college level though because so far, I've paid $299 for the course and it's reviewed high-school English. So we'll see if it increases in difficulty.
Without further ado, does anyone have any other tips, sites, courses, etc. that they would care to mention? I don't think Penn Foster has much to offer in the way of creative writing, editing, or publication, so I'm looking for straightforward and easy-to-accomplish options since I currently work a lot of overtime and I have almost zero motivation to study as it is until I switch jobs.

#one thing of social interaction online while being autistic is the ever present fear of being treated like a child when your behave#there’s a certain sort of. demeaning/teacher sort of vibe to it#maybe I just get that vibe bc I witnessed and experienced a lot of that in school#it’s the whole. demeaning in a way that is meant to shame while giving the people who are doing the shaming a way to make themselves feel#better bc they are reinforcing a standard of quote unquote normal behavior#it’s a really nasty feeling of shame and it’s one where you quickly learn to just keep your mouth shut#so you don’t tip people off again so you aren’t demeaned like ur a child again#idk yes there are behaviors that are like. not great but it’s also like#damn just bc I don’t experience the joy and whimsy of the world in the same way#doesn’t mean I deserve to be shamed about it#vaguely related bc it’s a memory of shame but I still vividly remember being told as a child#that I was not shy. the teacher laughed about it too#not that im not seven years old I see that it was me having issues#connecting w others. ✨NOT SAFE FOR PHOTOSENSITIVE PEOPLE!!!✨ The shopping trolley icon to buy the premium with x3 the resources keeps flashing non stop, despite the number of emails that I've sent
164 languages (all of which get equal treatment, the vocab given for Irish is the exact same vocab provided for French. Minority languages are actually given equal treatment here)
99 topics from colours to software vocab that I don't even understand in English (I am moronic when it comes to technology)
Audio lesson recordings, where it explains the whole topic to you verbally
Interactive quizzes w/listening, spelling, reading comp and matching exercises
Speaking practice. Everyone always underestimates the importance of actually being able to speak the language.
THOUSANDS of flashcards
Review option where it says the word in target language while showing the written of the word in 1st + target language => great for active recall when making notes
Here's some visual examples
And all of this is in the free vocab section. The common phrases and verbs section require a subscription (even though there are several sections on verbs in the vocab section) but my word of advice is, take what's free. There is SO much content available for free. THOUSANDS of vocab words per language, with all of the above resources applied to each and every one of them. And there is NO AI!!! If this app is safe for you use, take advantage of it. If it's not safe for you to use, that's not fair for you, you deserve better and people should use a bit of common sense when they're coding to make it safe for you.
