if you don't want to start studying, stare at the wall until you've grown sufficiently bored. then, get started on your homework or studying- you'll be bored enough that anything in comparison sounds fun enough.

this "wall-gazing" method of study gives your brain the chance to decompress and start focusing, making you more alert in your studying.

Last day of senior year.

I did it. 1385 days. We made our way through the school with music and water guns, eventually covering everyone in paint once they tried to leave the building. I made it out with my report card (and without paint) and spent the rest of the day with my friends. We somehow ended at the graduation-drinking-party of all seniors in town but left soon after because we just didn’t like the atmosphere. Now I’m finally back at home, trying to plan ahead for tomorrow and process the last 48 hours. I’m already feeling incredibly stressed about the next few weeks; I’m not sure if I can withstand that. Saying goodbye to my math teacher yesterday was bittersweet, she really is one of the kindest people I know. Other than that- I’m starting a new journal. My old one got drenched in coffee at the start of the year, let’s see if this one survives…

After some technical difficulties (which are still far from being solved…) I managed to study for ~6 hours. Wrote a total of 6 1/2 pages on german law, election, political theories and the EU. That leaves me with election analysis and media for tomorrow. I’m planning to start studying around 8am, let’s see how well that goes :‘)

doing some more physics questions today from a lecture to solidify my 11th concepts - almost done with the lecture

i also plan to do 12th biology with questions today, since i’ve done questions for most chapters already i might be able to finish it.

nothing too interesting other than this. just a slow sunday with my bottle of coffee and the never ending todo list 🌸

also lately been feeling a lot of fomo cuz all my friends get to go out and have fun while i’m gonna be cooped up at my desk, with the same old lectures :( but yeah well- hopefully all this pays off.
