Finally got myself to go to the public library. I know i enjoy working there but sometimes it's really difficult to get myself to leave the house even though i know it's impossible for me to be productive in the house. So today was a well planned, well executed success.

🪐 planned out my exam prep for the accounting final

🪐 finished notes for chapter 10 of accounting

I have a make-up exam in principles of accounting at the end of the month and i need to get at least 20 points on the 40 point exam. Honestly, i think i can do it.

I missed almost five days of work because i thought my brand new laptop had crashed and took it to get checked and turns out it was some ludicrous stupid problem that didn't need any repairs and I'd wasted five days on nothing. It's good that the laptop was completely fine though, I'm grateful.

I've been keeping up with my Italian on Duolingo and I'm hoping to start actually studying it soon. Gotta learn the basics like the alphabet and the pronunciation and all that. I'm very excited.

I should be going to bed now cuz my eyes burn.

If I did a study weekend (starting at 1pm CST on Saturday and Sunday), would anyone want to join? If so, I'll post on here each hour when we're working and when we're breaking (50 mins of studying, 10 min break) and what I'm doing. This would sort of be a co-working/co-studying space and would force some of us to start our work bc I know finals are coming up and we're swamped with homework and having the start time and the break times built in and knowing others are also working might be helpful.

Nothing makes you hate yourself and want to sob uncontrollably quite like not being able to solve a math (or any) problem. Nothing hurls your ego into godhood and makes you wanna jump up on tables like finally being able to solve a math (or any) problem.

🪐 solved 6/17 problems from chapter 9

Today i really didn't manage to get nearly as much as i needed to get done. I have one day left before my accounting exam and i still have to do two more chapters of exercises.

I almost cried three times today in a library cuz i didn't understand (on the first read, might i add) what the exercises wanted from me. The fact that i didn't do practice exercises throughout the year has come to bite me in the ass right now. Like i deserve.

I'm really happy i managed to do those six exercises though cuz each one taught me something i didn't know.

I did spend 4 hours watching an archaeology debunking video that i randomly found on YouTube and got sucked into. At the end of the day, you can't control your hyperfixations, they control you.

Did my Duolingo lesson in Italian. I think my comprehension is getting better.

I need sleep. I need tomorrow to go well. I need to pass that god damn exam.

I love you. You need a hug.
