I say this because sometimes i feel like not so much. I feel like when someone puts a ship in their DNI i always worry that they are including System relationships. Which they aren't, i doubt a major of them knows what a system is or how that works.

But its still worrying. I don't really see people talk about it, because i guess its not as common or maybe they're worried too?

That they'll seem creepy because Their headmates split too early before knowing the big plot twist is their sources are family.

Or that sometimes kid sourced characters, split and are grown up and not at all children ( unless they age slide or are regressors ).

Or that thats just how THEIR relationship works, whether its exomemories or sources or NOT.

Headmates are PEOPLE, with their own choices ( even when its harder for some ). I get so tired of this thinking of that if one headmate has an opinion or interest or whatever, the whole system has the same one, when that isn't always the case.

For singlets or people who do not understand, that would be like if YOU wanted to make cake, but someone else in your group wanted to make pie, well now all the other groups believe you like pie and want to make pie. They're just assuming because someone in your group wanted to make pie, now you do too.

Hello hello! It is I, the person that asked the question about taste a wjile ago. I once again have a question about DID that I can't seem to get clear answers to on google, so i'll bite. What's the difference between an introject and a fictive?

Introject is an umbrella term for any alter who forms their identity based on an outside source (someone you know, a celebrity you like, a fictional character, a song, an item, etc.)

A fictive is a more specific term for alters who form their identity around a fictional source/character

Examples:

Having an alter that forms their identity around a friend you know can be considered an introject

Having an alter that forms their identity around a YouTuber you watch (ie markiplier, jacksepticeye, mcyt, etc.) can be considered an introject

Having an alter based on your childhood/current comfort character (ie Elmo, Dora, a Disney princess, Bluey, sans, danganronpa characters, book characters, etc.) can be considered an introject AND/OR a fictive

Some bonus terms:

An introject based on a real person/object - Factive

An introject based on a song/album/playlist/album cover - songtive

An introject who is a combination/not quite any of these things - fuzztive

Boring named system anon back at it again boyos XD We appreciate the offer greatly! We've been stuck with "The Introject Society" for several years now, and, while it's TECHNICALLY fitting, it was honestly just supposed to be filler til we found a better name. Prior to that we were "Dragonhearted" after our host at the time who is a factive of CaptainSparklez, and before THAT we were "The Septic System" after our like 5 Jacksepticeye related introjects at the time. YouTube used to be a huge part of our life... Then we fell out of obsession mode as our faves stopped regularly posting. Now we're not sure where to go from here.

Dragon hearted is pretty cool, ok when we chose our sys name we settled on "the unholy system"

At the time a majority of us were demon or demon-lite, as well as we have had a lot of religious trauma surrounding being told we were unholy

So it's kinda a reclaiming thing for us

I have friends who will make their sys name a joke (the solar system, the nervous system, etc) and I always like that

Ik at one point Blitzø wanted to call us "Blitzø and his bitches" which while funny, didn't fit cuz dude never fronts lol

If you're still fairly interested in social media you could do something along the lines of "the media system" or "the social system"

If Jacksepticeye is still something y'all find important you could go by "the eye system" or in a similar vein, inspired from eyes but a bit divergent as you've mentioned your hyperfixation has faded "the all seeing system" would be kinda cool

If the Dragon heart is still kinda important you could just go by "the dragon sys" or with the heart part "the loving sys" or dragon-lite "the lizard system"

Honestly tho I think introject society is a fun sys name, but if none of what we've suggested fits were totally down to help you more, we'd prolly just need more specifics of a general vibe
