GET COMFY IN UR OWN SKIN ; 

i feel like the most confident people are dancers. i feel this way cuz of the way my own confidence SKYROCKETED after i started dancing. i feel like dancing gives u a sense of control over ur own body and its just amazing.

whenever i feel like i need a little boost of confidence or i wanna feel sexy and good in my own skin i DANCE. and i promise that it helps so so much. i dance around in my room all the time and it’s like therapy. 

embarrassment does NOT exist, stop making urself feel awkward or embarrassed for making mistakes sometimes, learn to laugh and not take everything so seriously.

MENTAL DIET ; 

honestly in my experience, manifesting has played a huge role in my self confidence and my self concept. honestly, self concept work goes hand in hand with self confidence work.

keeping a strict mental diet has made my self concept untouchable so definitely get into that. so SAY UR AFFIRMATIONS, dont EVER bully yourself etc.

SAY NO ; 

something about a confident person, they can ADVOCATE for themselves and they know how to say no/im not comfortable with _. practice saying no more and being in control of ur time.

some words that u can add to ur vocabulary to be more confident and advocate for urself properly is "absolutely not" or simply NO. theres so much power in the word NO so make sure to use it more.

THE MUSIC ; 

the music that u listen to on a regular day to day basis rly have an impact on ur mind for either better or for worse depending on what ur listening to. 

steer clear of music that talks about things like self loathing or self hate and instead go for songs that uplift you. a lot of the time when ppl bring up the relationship between the songs u listen to and ur mindset a misconception that ppl have is that like, u can’t listen to emotional or sad songs and that’s NOT TRUE. u can listen to sad songs and still be a confident, bad bitch.

You and Jisung were shoved into your room. It was Haechan’s party and he had the genius idea of playing 7 minutes in heaven. Unsurprisingly, he somehow turned it into another one of him and his friends’ poor attempts in getting either you or Jisung to confess to each other. Ever since you joined their highschool your brother and his friends have been trying to get the both of you together. You two were shy at first but eventually got comfortable with each other since it didn't look like it was going to stop anytime soon.

“Do they really not know?” Jisung asked as he sat on your king-sized bed, patting the spot next to him to tell you to sit there.

You opted to lay your head on his lap instead, feeling his fingers softly massaging your scalp. “I mean, we are trying to hide it from them. It’s better like this anyways, peace and quiet without them teasing us” you say while admiring how cute your boyfriend looks from this angle.

While admiring your features after, he thought that maybe it was time to be more than lowkey with you.

He wasn't sure why his colleague wanted to host a simple dinner into a fancy soirée, but he was a mere guest, and he'd follow anything the host of the night instructed.

He also felt rather silly wearing this bowtie, but after hearing her genuine compliment, it gave him a sense of pride and joy. It also gave him a boost of confidence as he took a step closer, his eyes raking over her body very slowly as if he was taking his time relishing the stunning view in front of him.

The image of his large hands gripping onto the fabric and tearing it apart should've repulse her, it was such a primal thing to do that it seemed so close to an animal-like instinct. Like a dog. Like a wolf. With the heat of his gaze, she was sure he could even devour her the moment his hands touched her skin. Eating her whole would be an extreme notion, but eating her like a man starved as he buried his head between her thighs was something she considered possible.

His gaze was so intense that she had to look away to calm her breathing, to let her heart normalize its pace. But then she felt fingertips brush her shoulder. It was light, almost imperceptible, causing a shiver to run down her spine; goosebumps breaking out all over her limbs. This was extremely dangerous, but he had some kind of pull toward her and all the rational thought keeping her sane flew out the window.

She bit her bottom lip as those warm fingers made their way down the sensitive skin of her inner bicep, then slowly made their way down her forearm. If you were to write a history of the recording studio and, specifically, its usefulness as a laboratory for musicians' most ambitious creations, then an entire chapter might well be devoted to "Bohemian Rhapsody." The members of Queen began recording the song on Aug. 24, 1975, redefining the known limits of popular music in the process.

Suffice to say that, whatever Chuck Berry had in mind when he asked Beethoven to roll over, "Bohemian Rhapsody"'s jaw-dropping pastiche of rock and opera sure wasn't it. But then, Queen's flamboyant and unpredictable brand of art rock had been simultaneously stumping and amazing all those who'd heard it well before "Bohemian Rhapsody" came along. It continually morphed over the first three albums of the group's career, until 1974's Sheer Heart Attack started connecting all the dots.

During the first months of 1975, Queen toured the U.S. as headliners for the first time (alternately supported by Styx and Kansas), making their first trip to Japan (where they received a Beatlemania-type reception), and, in singer Freddie Mercury's case, receiving the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for his work on "Killer Queen."

All of these accomplishments no doubt boosted the band's confidence (and courage) as they started working on new material, both in unison and individually, for the album they would soon name A Night at the Opera. This was to be produced by their engineer Roy Thomas Baker, and it's safe to say neither band nor producer could have guessed what Mercury had up his sleeve as he started cobbling together both new ideas and spare song parts he'd been lugging around for years in the privacy of his Kensington apartment.

According to Baker, in an interview with Sound on Sound, his first inkling of what was in store only came when he visited Queen's singer at his home, and Mercury first played him "Bohemian Rhapsody"'s initial ballad section, concluding it by casually quipping, "And this is where the opera section comes in!" Mercury, Taylor and the other members of Queen -- guitarist Brian May, bassist John Deacon and drummer Roger Taylor -- then entered the studio following three weeks of rehearsal to help bring Freddie's madcap magnum opus to life.

Together, the foursome and their studio hands spent as much time arranging, re-arranging, adding, subtracting, and adding some more to "Bohemian Rhapsody"'s bulk as most bands of the time spent on entire albums. In the end, Mercury's central ballad wound up preceded by one of Queen's patented, multi-tracked a capella choirs and was followed by a tasteful solo from May, a minute-long opera section, then a heavy metal instrumental passage and finally a reprise of the core melody, fading gently back into wherever it came from.

All these years later, it's the song's operatic climax that remains its most stunning, almost superhuman, accomplishment, as it required them to clock as 10-to-12 hour days over a three-week period. They reportedly needed nearly 200 vocal overdubs in order to flesh out an entire choir. And then, when they were finally done, their label EMI was, to put it mildly, quite unimpressed.

Although, to be fair, the suits' reasons were typically business-oriented, as "Bohemian Rhapsody's" edged close to the six-minute mark, well beyond the limit favored by commercial radio. Instead, the label suggested they release Deacon's excellent "You're My Best Friend" as first single from A Night at the Opera, but Queen wouldn't hear of it, and it only took a moment for the immediate support of DJs across Britain to prove EMI wrong.

Released in the U.K. on Oct. 31, 1975, "Bohemian Rhapsody" would be No. 1 by Christmas and then hold the spot for nine weeks. Its commercial fortunes were undoubtedly helped by the pioneering music video shot by Queen to stand in for them on Top of the Pops while they were already back on tour by the time they were invited to appear. Meanwhile, their single was also on its way to No. 1 in Canada, New Zealand, the Netherlands and Belgium, earning Top 10 honors in multiple other countries and peaking at No. 9 in America, where it eventually became a million-seller.

"Bohemian Rhapsody" stands as one of the best-selling songs in rock history, prone to repeat visits to global charts anytime it is revived for a movie, commercial or other event, and frankly unique as nothing since has come close to matching its sheer heights of excess, bravura, and, oh yeah, inspiration.

If Frontiers 2 or whatever has this kind of polish and budget and it's on another level?!?! Then we can expect a near flawless 3D Sonic game in the future. I am so confident in Sonic Team. They are so back.

All we need now is for them to drop the boost formula and try the Adventure style or something else. I know that the team can do it dude. They can do it. It's time for the boost to go and for something else to take its place. Let me roll down hills and use that speed to go through loops, fly off of ramps and run up walls to access alternative pathways. I am on my knees Sega and Sonic Team. Kinda hard to explain to you without revealing all from another post I'm working on at the moment, but basically if you take Bucks bi awakening as the equivalent of the moment he is born, then him dating Tommy gets him up to the point where he meets Eddie in season 2. Its part of why I think the show is going with having Tommy call him Evan - its a play on the idea that in bisexuality terms, Buck is going through his childhood - his early 20's. Abby left Buck and went to have her eat pray love experience - and that is what I think Buck will do as well - that he will leave Tommy and proceed to explore his bisexuality by hitting the town and kind of reverting back to Buck 1.0 as it were.

There are a couple of reasons I believe this is what they're doing with his arc - firstly it makes sense from a narrative perspective. secondly it gives Buck the rebound thing before he settles down with Eddie. Thirdly Abby met Sam while she was having that experience and Sam was kind of loosely paralleled with Eddie at the train crash in s3.

Oliver has spoken in interviews about a few different things that had me raising my eyebrows and wondering - the latest ones are no exception. He's spoken about Bucks slipping backwards, and 'continuing to spiral out'. He's also spoken about 806 changing Bucks trajectory and that it will be fun even though he doesn't know what it means for him yet.

The thing with Olivers interviews is that he does always leave some clues in them that suddenly make sense when you have more context. Think back to the Karaoke of it all from last season where he was giving 'what I like about you' as his own karaoke song of choice - only for it to actually be the one that the show was going to use. He's done it with other things as well over the years.

So I think its fair to say that as the focus has been much more about Bucks personal life this season, that the change in trajectory will be about said personal life. and the only changes you tend to see in a relationship are either - moving in and marriage, or the ending of a relationship.

We've seen Buck do the moving in thing before - when he wasn't fully all in on the relationship, and when he'd been in that relationship longer than this one. I cannot see the show doing a rinse and repeat of that storyline - especially when it's been made clear that there is baggage and issues and difficulties and unforeseen challenges or uncomfortable truths or whatever descriptor you want to go with.

Oliver also spoke about Buck exploring what bisexuality means for him and that it isn't tied to Tommy. He also said that if Buck and tommy were on a break that he'd like to see Buck exploring queer spaces and he also spoke about Lucy helping to shepherd him though that and boost his confidence.

Now I'm not saying we'll be seeing Arielle back at all (not impossible but I"m not hedging my bets either way!) but I do think its very interesting that he chose to answer a question about who fro his past he'd like to see make a return, he used it as an opportunity to talk about bt being on a break and Buck entering queer spaces - like that was a choice. And it only strengthens my thoughts that Buck is going to be in Abbys shoes going forward. Because I do think its likely that we might see a break of some kind that isn't a full breakup come out of whatever we're going to get from Tommys past in the next episode. I think we'll see Buck using the break to explore, being Buck 1.0 and then deciding that he doesn't want to try and work things out with Tommy - with maybe a Tommy return a couple of episodes later for a full break up - Because I think Buck will give Tommy the closure he never fully got from Abby.

So from my perspective, Buck is paralleling Abby rather than the break up being about Abby the character. It gives Buck his full circle moment and plays into my theory that Buck are Tommy are versions of buck in different places and part of why it can never work between them! and From Olivers interviews and knowing how he tends to leave clues in them - I feel fairly confident that we're going to see Buck spiralling into exploring his bisexuality through queer spaces and that will be without Tommy.

But who knows - I could be on the wrong track, but having watched the show for years and read Olivers interviews for years, it feels like a fairly good theory to run with at this moment in time!
