You did a baby shower but really improvised cause you both got to your island and your parents insisted.

On the previous moments of giving birth he would be at your side, shouting orders to the crew so they got everything you needed/wanted.

On the moment of giving birth you squeezed his hand so hard that he was yelling more than you, but he didn't leave your side, even though the thought he would pass out.

He almost left his captain charge while taking care of the baby, like a maternity leave, but nobody on the crew let him do that.

Cause he is indispensable and you are the second hand so also irreplaceable, all the crew started to take turns to take care of the baby.

All the man on the crew wanted to be the uncle of the baby, at the end you know that when the baby could speak he would call uncle all of them.

All swords or weapons are guarded on a closed room or put on a high shelf, even putting foam rubber on the edge.

In the night when the baby cries, it's ussually Shanks who gets up and even starts singing to the baby.

Im pretty sure that the first gift the baby gets it's a wooden sword (really small) and a "pirate hat", everyone started to take pictures of it and hang it on the ship.

Tje baby tends to climb onto your bed and be sandwiched on the middle, which sometimes upsets Shanks cuase he wants to spoon you.

Another thing that upsets him is breast feeding, he doesn't know why but sometimes he feels jelaous (this man is a boob man)

When you both need a time out, he orders someone of the crew to watch out the baby and takes you to a walk on the island or a dinner on some restaurant.

At the end of the day even with the chaos of the baby crawling or climbing into a dangerous place, the night cries and all, he loves the baby and he loves that you are his mother and his partner.

ngl, it's about quality over quantity for me. an npc can have a total of three minutes of screen time, but if they have a cool name, they can live rent free in my head and I'll spend several hours trying to decipher drawable features from a blurry screenshot of pixels

there is a vague hint of a story here, and that's because every time I try to play thi4f, I get incredibly frustrated with how Not Fun the game play is. like, is the story good? well. but it has a PLAGUE. that should've given it instant 'I'll replay this once a year' status in my heart, but the game play sucks so bad that I've never finished it. I can't believe Not Fun gameplay beat out my obsession with narrative plagues.

anyway, the idea is basically if the original era had a game with a plague centric narrative and some other stuff I liked out of thi4f thrown into a narrative blender, with a heavy dash of horror thrown in because some parts of the thief games were scarier to me than entire dedicated horror genre games.

i really love these games a lot but this fandom is so stressful to me

Staying out of tales of arise Anything bc I think I do want to experience this game organically bc those plot twists hit me like a fucking TRUCK.

I did look up an estimate for how long the game is tho. I'm at like 30 ish hours and if you focus on plot alone it's like some 40 hours. But I have been doing side quests lol so it probably isn't even 10 hours remaining.

A Little scared of how things will be after this point tho. The Vibes will definitely have changed. And oh God I just want to hold Alphen so tightly. He doesn't deserve this.

#speculation nation #tfw ur amnesia was a blessing but now you remember and suddenly you have to deal with Extreme Trauma #and he was already traumatized!!!! he was already traumatized and now hes even more traumatized!!!!!!#but let's be real this group is made entirely up of very traumatized people lol. such is the way of this world.#this game is so fucking brutal tho. like im used to tales games hitting much harder than you expect #but they went out of their WAY to make this one really fuck you up #im absolutely in love with this game. but WOW it is not for the faint of heart lmfao #which sure is something to say about a very anime looking game where you can go to the Owl World and the Owl King will give you outfits #and you can wear ridiculous accessories even during serious cutscenes (a tales game Classic)#and also you own a ranch.#i still cant wrap my head around that one hfkshfj like what do you MEAN i own a ranch?!?! and then i just Kill the animals?!?!?#like ya food meats but i thought raising chickens would give me eggs. me cooing at my grown chickens then going into the menu #and it's like 'your chickens have reached maturity! items received: Chicken Meat" and i was just like. 'O-oh.'#and then the chickens were GOOOONE but at least the cats and dogs stay around without me EATING them #i. prefer to not visit my ranch. i dont want to be reminded that all these animals are gonna die.#hfkshfjd and YEA ALL THIS alongside some stunning displays of moral ambiguity #& the utter horror and injustice of 300 years of subjugation #perfectly captured right down to the erasure of culture. these people having to look to ruins to get in touch with their culture #bc it was Taken from them.#just. it's a ridiculously over the top anime game just like any tales game but wow. wowowowwow #and im saying this after playing tales of xillia 2. aka still the only game that made me cry Twice.#arise is truly an astounding game. it's very definitely in the running for my favorite tales game.#we'll see how the ending goes lol but given everything ive seen so far. it is Likely to be just as stunning hdkshfj #raving about this game when i should be going to sleep. man . man. ..
