Stolas when Blitz is in danger: Rushes down to save his once a month nightstand without hesitation nor 2nd thought of his daughter. Willing to die for Blitz on LIVE TV that could be seen by his daughter thus reinforcing all her fears and worry of her father leaving her for the Imp.

And people call Stolas the better dad😒

Am I the only one who kinda got ticked off about what Bee said to Mammon, like as a asexual person I hate how Bee said to Mammon "how about you keep fucking yourself ya big asshole" (or something with the lines like that,I don't bother remembering any of that shit) like I don't know about you guys but that kinda sounded acephobic.

Also why did Bee get disgusted at Mammon eating? Like you're the fucking sin of gluttony why are you making that face 💀

I think the thing that makes Vivzie and her shows infuriating to me at least, is the fact that she takes a lot of people's dreams for granted

Like, there are probably so many people out there that wish they could accomplish even half of what Viv had. Two successful shows, one of them being on a streaming service, even having broadway vas (idk how many people would hire broadway voices though)

And they just see Viv not giving a shit about any of it. Fetish shit, fatphobia, racism, misogyny, bad writing, terrible jokes, and I think it's pretty obvious that Viv has no fucking clue how to properly budget a show

And people that probably have way better ideas, can actually write, and are decent human beings who want to put in actual representation and nuanced stories with well-written. But for some reason, probably out of their control, they just can't

There are so many creative minds out there. And I think it's devastating that Viv is unapologetically taking that for granted

On the subject of Octavia…

I recently saw this reaction video on YouTube (I will not be linking it in case some unhinged person sees this) (it’s not a normal reaction channel cause he makes a lot of jokes). Anyway, this guy recently saw Season 2 episode 11 of Helluva Boss and he was like “I hate Octavia so much! Her story and character are so repetitive and boring!”

And I’m sitting there thinking, “No…? Like she has a SIMILAR story every time she actually gets to TALK so far.”

Ep 2 S1 LuLu land: Her dad takes her back to a trash dump covered in glitter to relive her Trauma, all while he’s flirting with a guy who’s clearly not interested. By the end she asks if he’s going to leave her to run away with this guy. (Keep that last part in mind)

Ep 5 S1 The harvest Moon: She is seen, no dialogue.

Ep 7 S1 Ozzie’s: She is mentioned as a way of trying to get Bliztø into the house.

Ep 1 S2 The Circus: She is mentioned to make Stolas look better and to make Stella look like a heartless Harpy. (Ugh the flattening of an interesting character dynamic and potential flaw for Stolas! My heart can’t take it!)

Ep 2 S2: Her Dad blows her off because he “Hates [Stella] more that he loves [octavia]” which no one refutes so the show is basically telling us “Yeah he does, get over it.” See that? That’s a different conflict involving Octavia’s shitty relationship with her father but not about her insecurities that he will leave her.

Ep 4 S2: She is mentioned in a threat.

Ep 11 S2: Seen crying over the fact that her dad did in fact choose the Imp over her. He gave up his life instead of asking for why Blitzø was on trial which he would then learn of Andre’s BS and set the record straight.

in fact he could have pulled some “Mastermindery” by saying, “No, Blitzø didn’t assault me. In fact, I think you have it wrong. He’s always been under Asmodeus’s care. Right Asmodeus?”

And then Ozzie could have said. “uh… Yeah! The Imp’s under my Jurisdiction, so step off Satan!”

I can’t remember who it was but I know that it wasn’t me who thought of it because I’m not that eloquent: “The show doesn’t care about Octavia, so why should I?” And I sort of agree with this but at the same time I love her! And I feel so connected with her entire situation.

Dude good intent doesn't breed actually being a good dad. He took her there but it was with the motive to forget the mess he made for her at home. He also butchered goid faith by shamessly flirting with his booty call in front over despite it being uncomfortable. Dude is a selfish dad or has become one the minute he decided blitzo mattered more. And that seeped into later episodes with her because time and again he breaks promises and gives false hope he will be better but it never happens and he does it over again. Dude he deserves shit if he thinks him f7nding comes at the cost of being a neglectful parent. All that previous good parenting doesn't mean much if you are always putting a booty call before your own daughter to the point she's an afterthought during your own execution.

Why are people still bitching about Stolas "choosing" Blitz when he literally had no choice? Blitz was seconds away from dying, and the best case scenario happened, which was both of them being alive in the end.

Y'all just want this series to end prematurely or something because if Blitz is dead, the show is dead.

aging hazbin hella confusing

As we know, Stolas who seemed every bit the powerful sugardaddy on introduction, who we know to be royalty and immortal, was placed at the same age as Blitzø at the start of this season.

They're in their mid 30s and imps age like human.

It makes sense that the immortal leaders don't care to see 'lesser' demons who they don't really respect as anything other than workers in the industry, but at what point was Stolas who was an innocent child the equivalent of 5 minutes ago to them seen as an adult?

Goatia may be the workers of the royals and that's why he was given privilege and responsibility early but how often do sins and goatia meet up with one another?

They sort of give the impression of knowing one another well but at what point do those who are thousands or millions of years old see the likes of Stolas as their peer?

Why is there a job that needed doing by a 30 something?

Though they have tried to build an 'all will be revealed' plot for Octavia and whatever important role this teenager born to a teenager will play, why now? Wouldn't the groundwork of what needs to be done in hell have been covered millenniums ago?

At the same time, we have a leading, very casual plot where hell has no issues other than an oveepopulation problem that's in hand, over in hazbin with the very infantalised Charlie who is over 200 years old?

There is nothing that screams maturity about her, in her appearance and certainly not in her attitude, if she was an actual teenager it would fit, how is her aging slower than someone who doesn't have a human parent?

Charlie has nothing to do, no expectations placed upon her, she follows a pipe dream which is actually a big deal but nobody cares, it's not a case of nobody cares to stop her because of who she is, nobody gives a crap about her, she means nothing.

Though maturity comes with exposure and in the case of hazbin our chances of seeing the sins outside of fellow nothing to is do sin Lucifer are slim so we won't see them interact, so far we have seen Charlie just be the silly little girl anywhere she went who isn't to be taken seriously. She is beyond a pushover, she is entirely impressionable.

It's like Charlie being so childish is a way of dismissing her the daughter of the big boss with her own show, the parent show at that to the sidelines, but Stolas who's importance is well established then inflated for a ship was de-aged without thought.

It's almost like aging these characters so recently was set up to fail because why weren't they born sooner? The child of the first human woman and someone with an important role in hell and it's activity. Still the investments in these characters is like night and day.

Vivziepop’s Shallow Writing Problem

Vivziepop’s stories are rather lacking in depth. The characters and their goals, motivations, etc. are all extremely shallow. And that’s fine! Not all shows need extremely in depth, deep, intricate characters. But the problem with Viv’s shows is that she is convinced that these are deep characters. When.. they’re not. Her best written character, imo, is Blitz. He’s the only character who I would say has depth and is explored in a meaningful way. He experiences consequences, growth, change, etc. But, every other character… is kind of eh. Moxxie maybe, and then there’s Stolas..

Stolas is the epitome of writers thinking they wrote a deep character when they actually created the most shallowly written character of all time. Stolas receives no consequences, no call outs, no growth, because he gets the excuse of ‘he’s abused’ to not have to face anything bad happen to him. It’s infuriating how shielded he is by the writers.

And Helluva Boss didn’t need extremely deep characters. It started off as a comedy, where characters could do messed up, edgy shit because nothing is meant to be taken seriously. But then suddenly the show decides to become a super serious, soap opera drama?? It completely derails its original premise to be something completely different. The beginning of Helluva Boss and what we currently have are 2 completely different shows. And I’m not saying comedies can’t have depth. One of my favorite examples is Dan Da Dan! It’s literally a show about a guy whose dick was stolen by a ghost. And yet, the show writers know how to balance ridiculous comedy and story telling with genuine, human moments. But Viv’s shows don’t have that balance. The show is hardly a comedy anymore and takes itself way too seriously, while also refusing to acknowledge actual things that need to be acknowledged.

This, all this! Also, when Stolas got captured by Striker while Blitz was taking Loona to the vet for her shot, he didn’t drop everything to save him. Blitz prioritized his daughter over Stolas and sent the MnMs to save him, as he should! Blitz is best dad!

"Stolas left in a rush because Blitzø could die in any second, he was scared and not thinking clearly"

Okay... he initially didn't think about Octavia and what would happen to her because he didn't want his fuck buddy to die. All that was on his mind was the guy he had successfully manipulated into a coercive relationship. Okay.

But then, Stolas doesn't even think about Via in the courtroom, before or during or after his song. She doesn't seem to be on his mind, not even as he thinks he's going to be beheaded. Stolas doesn't cry on his knees and plead to be set free for a few minutes so he could say goodbye to Via/spend his last moments with her. The only time Stolas remembers he has a daughter is when he (temporarily) loses everything.

He really has the nerve to say how he'd rather die than live without Blitzø (and how he is his "light"), his obsession and the victim of his abuse & emotional manipulation, and not even THINK about what would happen to his daughter without him, since Stella was apparently abusive from birth.

My guy Stolas doesn't try to reach Via and apologize for everything IN PERSON like he SHOULD HAVE, he doesn't desperately try to get to her to comfort her. Nope, he just sulks all the way to his victim's house and lets his victim take care of him, then looks hurt when he sees how Blitzø and Loona have a better father-daughter relationship. No shit? Blitzø hasn't ever neglected his daughter or made her feel invisible and/or an afterthought.

Just... fuck Stolas, man. He's a shit dad and a shit person.

as an ex hazbin artist something I noticed when drawing Stella was that every time someone would come to insult her before saying your art was good and that really felt like a punch in the face every time. I hated it…

it was like “I hate that dumb bitch but nice art” or “I want to hang her but I love your style!!” Like that isn’t a fucking compliment. Fuck OFF!!!!

I barely see this in the Valentino art space, you could literally draw Val being “redeemed” and people would suck your toes for it. Draw Stella once and feel like the whole world is giving you underhanded compliments.

That's what happens when you have a misogynistic, hivemind cult of a fandom.

Do anything that deviates from Viv's view and they'll relentlessly dogpile on you, but if you draw any of the two rapists (Stolas and Valentino) in any situation, and I mean, IN ANY, NO MATTER HOW UNHINGED AND HORRIFYING IT IS IN RETROSPECTIVE, just like you said, they'll grovel to your feet without question.

And Anon, I'm so sorry you had to face all that, and that's not only coming from the perspective of an emotional person, but also as an artist, I wouldn't stay in a fandom that wouldn't appreciate my art without underhanded compliments, I hope you already managed to distance yourself from that horrible fandom and never look back, because that cult won't miss you, they're way too busy sucking Viv's toes to even give a damn.

Hope you've already found an audience that actually appreciates your art without any of all that bullshit, do not let some braindead morons on the internet kill your passion.

Does anyone else just feel really sorry for Octavia??

Every time Octavia stars or cameos in a HB episode, life from her perspective keeps getting objectively worse. Her parents get divorced, her dad continues to leave her behind, her mom doesn't seem to think of her as person at all, her home life is unstable and stressful, and no one ever really stops to ask if *she* is okay. (Which is actually a pretty accurate depiction of a kid caught up in a messy divorce, though I think that's more of accident of the writing and not something the showrunners intended.)

At this point, I hope she gets emancipated and never has to see the people who screwed her over again.

. I know there been some mixed thoughts of how they detained Loona with the muzzle & collar(on the one hand def shows how the system mistreats Hellhounds, some also pointing out how strong theyve show they can be so maybe they were making sure she didn’t try anything)

on the other hand would’ve been good if they had shown her fighting off the authorities better to have this make sense and atleast remove the muzzle for the trial(especially with Bee the Hellhound Queen there), and the merch of this…didn’t exactly help.

One other thing is that Millie didn’t get to speak a lot herself during this etheir and she wasn’t even muzzled. If they still wanted to do something with this this, even something potentially funny aswell as make sense of Millie not getting to say as much. They still detain everyone, put the collar & muzzle on Loona.

At the trial, stuff is taken off Loona, except the cuffs(the collar could potentially still be kept on because they’re worried of her running off and subtly show the imbalance with Hellhounds and how they’re treated)

Rewriting the Sins

Special thanks to @helluvablenda for probably unintentionally and lowkey accidentally giving me a super sick idea :)

Gonna cover this first before going into each individual sin. I'm not gonna be having their sins be their only personality trait. I want their to be nuance and interesting characters, but at first glance it appears that way, and that's pretty much how everyone sees them. Asmodeus being called the lust/horny guy by hell, Belphegor being known as the lazy one, etc. etc.

But they are so much more than their sins but hell doesn't realize that and borderline refuses to acknowledge it. So they all kinda knew that no matter how hard they tried, it's not gonna change anything. So they ended up making their respective sins their only personality trait

Anyways let's talk about Asmodeus guys

Asmodeus

Doing these in order of appearance btw

One of the only characters I would actually smash. I hate what they did to Asmodeus (and Fizzarolli... and their dynamic but I'm getting into that later) even though I'm not sure if I'm gonna fix him all that well

Basically the idea is that growing up (if the sins actually had childhoods) he was a real sweetheart, a real gentle giant, a guy who would never hurt a fly. He would never raise his voice and has the patience of a saint. He could be talking to the Vegan Teacher and never lose his temper. Mostly because he's a people pleaser. Yes, he knows he should toughen up and gain a backbone, but it just... It feels so wrong!!!

Enter Fizzarolli, I will eventually make a post about Fizzmodeus as well as the rest of the ships, but the two don't exactly get along at first, but eventually they start to get along. And the imp taught Asmodeus how to speak up for himself :) and even though Asmodeus is still a sweetheart, he is a bit of an asshole sometimes (Fizzy's influence)

I have more things I wanna say, but I'm waiting to talk about Fizzmodeus (and Fizz) So I'm not quite done with him, just for now

Ah yes, the creator of Hellhounds herself (I think. Whenever someone brings up Bee and the Hellhounds I always get so confused. So if you don't like when I talk about them in this section... uh, sorry)

When Bee created the Hellhounds, the initial idea was that so hell could just have more inhabitants. More people = more partying! It's literally the most flawless plan

... Until during a meeting with the sins, Lucifer brought an idea that shook Bee to her core. How about the Hellhounds work under the upper class? And have adoption homes? Bee never really liked Lucifer all that much, he's petty, never admits when he's wrong, and is super annoying. What shocks Bee even more is that most of the sins agreed (except for Ozzie) and Bee is about to exclaim that she's the one who created Hellhounds! Shouldn't she get a say in all of this? That is until she catches Lucifer's eye. Sure, he's annoying and really fucking short, but she saw how he gets when things don't go his way

He's giving her a look that goes "Don't even think about speaking unless you want to die tonight."

So Bee just had to sit there and accept it. The fact that the very things she created were being turned into fucking slaves and abused under her rule... it's just awful. And relationships with the Hellhounds weren't the same after that. Some downright hated her and would treat her the way Stolas was treated in Mastermind basically. They wouldn't listen when Bee tried to explain to them that it was out of her control, and she honestly doesn't blame her. Some do understand but they do end up keeping her distance from now on

So to make up for it she tries to host as many parties as possible for the Hellhounds, and when Lucifer isn't involved she does try to speak up against this injustice which raises the question "Where were you when we needed you?" And she hasn't gotten over this guilt since the day it happened

I'm sorry that might've not been the best explanation for Hellhounds and such but I did want to make Bee likeable and keep in the whole thing with Hellhounds so I just thought about an instance where maybe it was out of her control. One thing's for certain, she constantly beats herself up for not being able to stand up against Lucifer

Now personality wise, relatively the same. Still blunt and shoves cotton candy down people's throats. I just mostly wanted to cover the main issue I see a lot of people have with Bee and rightly so

Mammon

Mammon is honestly kind of the same. Still manipulative and abusive. A greedy little guy

But I will be taking out the insensitive fat jokes directed at him. See, for Mammon, he likes to act stupid, like he doesn't know what he's doing to lure others into a false sense of security

One trait I want to give Mammon though is that he's a sucker for kids. He's great with them. He loved babysitting baby Charlie and always got up in little shenanigans with her. He's all for manipulating and hurting adults, but if he were to do that with a kid would be crossing the line in his eyes

Leviathan

Okay so Leviathan and Belphegor are going to be a bit difficult because there's almost no information about them in regards to the helluverse but I'm going to try my best

I want the heads to be at each other's throats, like constantly. Since Levi's the sin of envy, the heads are extremely envious of each other, always bickering and shit. Only once every thousand years will you see them get along

But when they do get along? They will bully you endlessly. They bring out the worst of each other

The human head in my mind is more extroverted and loves talking while the dragon head is introverted and hates having to talk to people

Eh it's not much but at least it's something

Belphegor

(Ignore Bee and Ozzie)

Okay I'm gonna be real, I have no idea what I want to do with her. At least with Leviathan I had somewhat of an idea. But with Belphegor I got nothing

I did see this really cool theory with her and the sloth ring so I might do something with that

I do like the thought of him and Yogirt being boyfriends though. I think that's fun and silly :3

Even though Satan does have a temper and is very dramatic at times. There is one thing that he loves more than anything: the sins

Okay well technically that's several things but he sees them all as little brothers/sisters and would destroy all of the rings of hell if it would make them happy

He loves them all. Except for one...

Lucifer

Goddam his smug face pisses me off so much how do people find him attractive???

Anyways. He's a bad guy now. An antagonist :)

He was very absent in Charlie's life and would just get one of the other sins to babysit her. Which... they love her, but it does get a bit frustrating when he drops them off on their doorstep with no prior warning. Especially when they have other business to attend to

He is extremely condescending and views everyone as beneath him. He's clearly better than these good for nothing sinners! His condescending nature is something Charlie unfortunately picked up, which is why she ends up treating others like children (she isn't even aware of this fact)

He just thinks people in hell don't deserve mercy. Or anything good, really. He often talks down to Charlie and not so subtly dunks on her dream at any chance he gets. He finds it so funny how people can't stand up for him because they know he's more powerful than he looks

He never admits when he's wrong and immediately kills anyone who tries to call him out

Wicked had Elphaba and Glinda believably become friends in two scenes even though Glinda had learned nothing, while Blitz and Stolas just can’t somehow.

Glinda did something performatively nice but genuinely helpful for someone to get rid of a boy she doesn’t like, and Elphaba showed her appreciation by helping her get what she wants even though she’s suspicious of her intentions, so when everyone is standing and laughing at Elphaba, Glinda decides to dance with her in solidarity, a purely selfless act. Her setting up Nessa’s date and standing with her while everyone laughs at her, gets Elphaba to open up to her, and Glinda reassures her that no she didn’t cripple her sister or kill her mother, her self-blame is misplaced. By that point they’re firmly friends.

Stolas falls for Blitz because he had one happy memory with him a long time ago and somehow held onto it for 25 years like it’s a fairy tale romance, even though Blitz has been nothing but mean to him the whole time, even before he’s done anything bad.

Blitz loves Stolas because Stolas… it can’t be the rescue, that was self-serving and easy to do. It can’t be the date, they barely talked and Stolas actively retreated from the situation because he was embarrassed to be seen with Blitz, confirming to him that he’s Stolas’s dirty little secret. And it’s not big mastermind sacrifice because he’s already super in love with him by that point.

The thing about Elphaba telling Glinda how her green skin inadvertently lead to her sisters disability and her mothers death, that’s not something we have for Blitz and Stolas. They learn so little about each other before saying their grand romantic overtures. By the time Glinda and Elphaba are singing their dramatic love ballad (you can’t tell me that this is not a romantic moment), they know about each others inner lives and desires and all that. What does Stolas really know about Blitz? What does Blitz really know about Stolas?

Stolas after losing his power, status, etc: Him thinking (oh shit that’s right, I have a daughter)

Stolas: “MY DAUGHTER, MY DAUGHTER, MY DAUGHTER, I’m a good dad, MY DAUGHTER, MY DAUGHTER 😩😩”

Why didn't he thought about it before running off to save Blitz? I hate how Stolas prioritize Blitz first and then Octavia comes second. The show tries so hard to paint him as a good father and a boyfriend material but instead he comes off as a lousy parent who cares more about his relationship with a guy who has barely shown any affection than his own flesh and blood.
