The failures of the Hellaverse leave me mixed. One one hand, I’ve definitely learned a lot about writing and critical discourse. But on the other hand, it saddens me seeing so much potential being wasted

I learnt when it comes to writing watching critical videos about the Hellaverse. These two videos are my favorites.

I also learnt a lot from reading critical posts too. Watching Hazbin made me realized how important pacing is and how to avoid tonal issues. Cannot forget the biggest one: Kill your darlings.

Yea, it makes me sad to see wasted potential in the Hellaverse. I truly believe if Viv locked in as an writer, removed some aspects and focus on different, hire a writer that knows other forms of comedy outside of 'swear words' and 'dick jokes', let her characters to shine equally and give them the development they deserve (I am fine with characters regressing too), Hazbin and Helluva would be viewed in a favorable light and not Twitter's favorite punching bag.

The wasted potential does inspire the fandom. though. I mainly engage with Hazbin content like AUs and fanart which brings me joy.

OH MY GOD SOME OF MY POSTS GOT LIKED BY AT LEAST ONE PERSON WHO KINDA LEFT THE HELLAVERSE COMMUNITY - like, I do feel honored, but also I don't know what or where or who the drama is, as I haven't seen any even though I regularly see Hellaverse critical stuff, and search by "new", and read comments, etc, except, like, 1 incident of drama, but I'm not saying they're wrong, and drama could happen, since it's a community with dramatic folks, critiquing dramatic shows, that have dramatic fans, and drama behind the scenes. People have also just been nice to me, though I do stay out of trouble and all, and have always been good at it and all. Every fandom thing has drama, and it's nothing new nor inevitable, and THAT'S also what gets more of people's attentions, but also, then again, I'm pretty sure multiple people have blocked me, plus, there's several reasons why one might just see me as some innocent critic, or someone who should stay the feck out of things, or even a kid (as in, a teen) - I also haven't been here for long, I don't many, I've had brief conversations with multiple people (this is the community that I most regularly have people talk to me from - like, even aros and aces, have brief conversations with me even more far-between), and to be honest, I don't have that many acquaintances and this and that - I've met lots of drama and hormones in my life, just not here, but I'm also used to the thought that people tend to keep me out of things, even drama. I've also today blamed myself for the community being more "silent" than usual, even though people aren't passionate 24/7, and that's because of course I do, and I'm different, and I don't wanna ruin any dynamics nor vibes. Of course, I wanted to confess to my squish first if that ever happened (who I expected to get blocked by anyway, since I like them, but they remind me of 30 year olds who have ended up ghosting me or blocked me due to being mad or because I was creepy or something), but I don't WANT to leave, and I LIKE watching Helluva Boss (but in the same way that critics like watching Helluva Boss), and I LIKE reading so many posts that I don't even need to feel "hungry" for more, and I LIKE talking to critics that have all kinds of ideas and say that mine are good too, and I LIKE feeling like I'm contributing my own fecking thing without downscaling/compromising my personality or anything, and I just in general really like it here - I KNOW, I'm not "changing the world", and maybe I'll forever feel guilty for not re-feeling my high school doom to learn how to sew or protest, but I feel like I have unique insight, and stuff people wanna see, and actually help someone somehow, and I just like it here - and there's no expectation, no rush, just maybe what one would hope to find, from the Boyfriends slander community. I don't know what's going on here, or with people, etc, but it's not like I get told stuff, and I'm just glad that my posts get likes, from someone who left the community for good reasons, even if I don't have the same experiences or something - like, I feel trusted, or like a good person, or something, and that's especially good when I've been feeling like a monster, and then extra hormonal.

So, um... I have some conflicting feelings pertaining to your hate for Stolas, I honestly didn't know he was a terrible person until I read you're anti-stolas posts.

My question is WHAT made him a terrible person, cuz as much as I see him as the victim, I can't help but be morbidly curious as to why he's such a terrible person.

Just so you know, I only heard he was terrible through the grapevine, but I want to hear your thoughts.

Of course! Personally, I think Stolas is specifically a terrible person because of how he's been written to never takes accountability. The narrative bends over backwards to make it so Blitz is the one who needs to make amends and is in the wrong, but does very little for Stolas.

Stolas started a quid-pro-quo 'relationship' with Blitz, asking sexual favors and encounters in exchange for the book, which Blitz needs for his business. He constantly makes sexual, degrading, and unwanted remarks towards Blitz (such as calling him Blitzy in Harvest Moon, which Blitz has made clear he doesn't like), but then later on claims that Blitz was the one always making things about sex. He calls imps little and small and then is confused as to why Blitz feels like he's being degraded and disrespected. He harasses Blitz constantly with sexual advances, which is especially noticeable in the Loo Loo Land, which actually brings up my next point that makes Stolas terrible.

He constantly apologizes and swears to do better and claims he wants change, but falls back into the exact same behavior that was the issue to begin with. For example, he promises he'll make time for Octavia in Loo Loo Land, but in Seeing Stars does the exact same thing. And then he spends the entire episode with Blitz doing the tv show side plot, completely forgetting about her in favor of trying to get his rocks off. Loona has to go find Octavia and convince her to give Stolas a chance.

Personally, the fact that he's written to dodge accountability and is a perpetual victim of his own consequences is what I think makes him so terrible. He's whiny as well, which just grates on my nerves. That isn't to say that Blitz is some sort of saint, but I just feel as if Stolas seems to think he has done nothing wrong, which has definitely has. I hope this was coherent and logical lol!

Anyways, as others have pointed it out, at least with Blitz(o), you could argue he thought Stolass' daughter was an adult, just like Loona and that Stolass had asked about a threesome or whatever, with BLITZ(O) and the daughter (which is still SO gross, but at least wouldn't be a joke intentionally made about a minor) - I personally thought it was, like, a 1-time thing, with the first Helluva Bose episode, but nah, the show just in general treats minors weirdly. I personally don't get why.

Viv's always found this absolutely hilarious and probably always will. She idolizes Seth Rogen, remember, but the difference is that Seth Rogen doesn't (as far as I'm aware) try to also be BookTok's Favorite Little Boy.

I swear, this newest episode of Helluva is just the perfect example of how Viviziepop can’t let men face consequences. Millie was right, they have a job to do. Helluva boss season 2 was so disappointed that one of the people who use to review her work (forgot his name, it's not Aay lmao) quit HB. /srs I wish I was kidding but I am not, this guy, legit decided to stop talking about Helluva Boss because he was so disappointed with how S2 went and ended, and I can't blame him because even I was like:

Is it just me? Or did Vivziepop went from selling ugly looking plushies to selling actually good looking plushies and now to selling low quality/ugly looking plushies again--

I am NOT hating on the person who drew out the design since it's not their fault and they were probably thought that their designs were gonna be use for high quality plushies not cheap stuff that you'll find in claw machines or even carnival games from my experience.

And the fact that the HB Nuggets plushies are motherfucking blindbox toys pisses me off because, they aren't even high quality and they look like a cheaper version of Tsum tsums. Vivziepop LITERALLY has a lot of money and she could just hire someone to make high quality dolls like she did for Loona and I think Stolas and Blitz, but she doesn't so yeah :/

Seriously, Blitzo really didn't owe Stolas anything especially after he abuse his power to get sex out of him. And no he didn't do shit to support his business and especially didn't care in "Harvest Moon" where he explicitly said his clients had to wait over doing his duties. And that so-called support is just him degratoringly degrading him in public which translate to the narrative as being unapologetically loving. Sorry, but that is bs. This is especially bs when we actually see Stolas himself be blatantly ungrateful to Blitzo after he pulled all stops making him comfortable. He still whines about how poor he is and stupid it was choosing to give everything up for him. Again if that's not creator's pet syndrome I don't know what is. Any other show this bird would be roasting for whining about his own mistakes and acting like he's owed everything just for doing not even the bare minimum.

One thing I noticed in this shitshow of an episode is how fucking ungrateful Stolas was for everything Blitzø did for him since he came to his place.

Honestly, I miss when Helluva Boss used to be about IMP killing humans. It had a lot of potential, but it's all wasted so that Stolas can all have the screentime.
