Looks like Limus, who's the creator of the "How NOT To Write A Victim of Abuse" about Angel Dust, is running a discord server filled with teenagers, who she speaks to about sex and porn.

Not a good look for Limus. She should make a 18+ server or just straight up delete the discord server and just focus on her content. For the most part, an all ages server never ends well.

Jax Has Crossedressed More Times Than Angel Dust

Seriously pre-series a major party of his character was cross dressing, but we never seen him do it in season one which again makes me think that despite making him wear feminine stuff his crossdresser shenanigans have been downplayed. Kind of sad that a character that wasn't sold on it does it more than him.

I'm working on my own webcomic after who knows how long of doodling my OCs and coming up with scenarios. How do you suggest I keep clear of Viv's pitfalls and possibly ending up on the Bad Webcomics Wiki?

I have 6 pages done so far and 6 more drafted. I think chapter 1 is going to be around 20-25 pages long, based on my text draft compared to the thumbnail sketches.

Honestly? Just do your best, write from the heart, love what you do, and be proud of yourself for putting something out there into the world. And then, even if you end up on the Bad Webcomics Wiki (which you probably won't), who the hell cares? Certainly not you in 10 years' time.

(For the record, some of the sweetest, most down-to-earth artists I've ever known have had their comics featured on the BWW. I'm sure they didn't love it, but because they didn't take it to heart, everyone remembers them for their personalities and love of making art.)

Speaking of characters never looking like their designs: does anyone remember when someone said they were shocked that Charlie was apparently meant to look like a goat and Viv smugly replied that it wasn’t true, only for people to show proof of her saying it on stream…

Why the hell did she lie lmao?? She lies so often it’s genuinely concerning.

Zero clue, but she does it constantly. They're not even plausible lies, either...she'll lie about stuff even she has to know will be disproven in about five minutes. Doesn't matter. It's like she can't help herself, or maybe just wants to see how far her fandom will go in defending her lies.

Looks like she speaks Spanish 2 times, once in episode 1 and once in episode 5.

Even if Val was Salvadoran it wouldn’t matter because his VA goes through like 6 different voices. He goes from Spanish accent to, German to white person to cartoony. The VA claims Val is code switching but I think it’s because the VA can’t hold the accent. A lot of the VAs cant hold an accent or just don’t fix the character. This is why you need boice actors not Broadway actors. There a difference between voice actors and stage actors and I’m sorry to say but a lot of them should’ve been casted for singing

Yeah, that's not at all what code switching means. Code switching would be swapping languages, accents, and tone when he shifts from talking to Angel versus when he's talking to Vox and Velvette. Code switching isn't "in this line he sounds German, and in the next he sounds like Curly from The Three Stooges."

I always thought Stella was supposed to be a snowy owl. TBH I think that would have been better, Snowy owls are adorable!

They really are! Also excellent parents, although not as famously protective as swans.

Or Viv just sucks when it comes to drawing old men in general. Husk is in 60s and is an alcoholic yet no wrinkles and no beer belly. Lucifer is Charlie's dad but some people thought that Lucifer is Charlie's brother because he doesn't look like in his age and I can't blame them for that. Sir Pentious is in 40s and even Cherri calls her an old man but he looks like an twink. None of her male characters looks old and just plain looking like twinks.

In Viv's slight defense (because it's true that she can't/won't draw old men to save her life), I think this is one of two things.

A reference to Flanders, who's canonically 60 but looks significantly younger as a result of his spotlessly clean and bland lifestyle.

An extra layer of cruelty on the whole thing, and proof of this poor man's exceptional good fortune and good health.

This is a nothingburger critique: as a Christian, I really despise that humans can become angels because that’s not how angels work and it makes the angels feel less impressive. It’s also why I’m just not a fan of Sera and Emily being siblings. Angels are spiritual beings but the show tries its hardest to make angels and demons as similar as possible

It does sort of take away their mystique, and what makes them angels, doesn't it?

I gues Nilla was having a bad day because they (not sure what pronouns nilla uses) decided to take swings at Michael Kovach for being in that Goku X Anne Franke thing from 10 years ago when he was 20. Nilla of course enjoys drawing rape art and failed to mention that Viv drew a Dr Mengele OC when she was older than 20, I believe, but Nilla has a huge reach, so I think they've successfully gotten a lot of Hazbin fans on the "Michael Kovach is the devil" train now.

Now obviously the video is massively regrettable cringe worthy garbage, but the hypocrisy of being a rape fetishist and someone who stans a woman that drew a Dr Menegele OC but getting on someone's case for voice acting in a super cringe worthy new grounds animation 10 years ago is downright palpable.

Fortunately, Nilla speaks to a very niche audience on a fairly niche platform and no one beyond the usual circle of crazies (Norry) seems to care, which is probably a good thing for Nilla. The TADC fandom is massive, and they probably wouldn't be thrilled to catch on that Michael Kovach's being slandered because someone animated from 2015 animated a trollfic from 2003 and he happened to do a voice in it.

Incidentally, this would have been right around the time that Viv, who's two years older than Michael, was RPing Nazi pastry sex with "i-hate-jewce."

it feels kinda telling to me that Lackadaisy effectively headhunted ProZD to be Mordecai based on his comic dubs and made a point of saying they were keeping the pilot cast

meanwhile Hazbin had a fandom sustained by Hunicast for a long time and a perfect Valentino voice the fandom loved in the form of ParanoidDJ

and not only didn't capitalise on it, but the Hunicast effectively ended when Viv and Ashley's friendship did. and the whole pilot cast got jettisoned in favor of Broadway stars, to varying results

Hazbin is such a fandom driven show; it's really not famous outside of people who are aware of its Internet presence (I'd love to know the numbers of people who checked it out without having heard about it from its online fandom; I can't imagine the ones who did would be all that impressed tbh) and yet it often feels like they have a love hate relationship with their own fandom

the one time they ever elevated something the fandom did was Look My Way, and the way that video was made did everything possible to obscure who actually wrote the song (unlike Liquid Gold that puts it right in the description) and made a point of ruining what was actually good about the original by changing the lyrics to make Stolas look better (it didn't work, given Full Moon and Apology Tour showed he was lying about apologizing like usual).

and of course, the whole reason it even got made is because it's the 14847th Stolas Sings Sadly that His Victim Doesn't Love Him song. it was the one thing Helluva didn't need but we got it anyway
