ways to turn your feminist theory into political action
there's so much good theory on here we need to start disseminating it more effectively and doing real politics
write letters to the editor of newspapers and magazines when they report on issues related to women's rights. most publications have a guide for structure (here are a few x x x but check your local publications guidelines too)
likewise, write and pitch opinion pieces to publications outlining your thoughts on current events
write to your representatives/MPs
i'm not sure how it works in other countries but in australia anyone can make a submission to a state, territory or federal parliamentary inquiry. if you are part of a feminist group or society you can submit one on behalf of the group
join debating clubs and societies to strengthening your rhetorical skills and build intellectual confidence
add your own!

“Feminism cannot indulge the fantasy that interests always converge; that our plans will have no unexpected, undesirable consequences that politics is a place of comfort.
The feminist scholar and activist Bernice Johnson Reagon, speaking in the last century about this one, warned that a truly radical politics—that is, a coalitional politics—cannot be a home to its members:
Coalition work is not work done in your home. Coalition work has to be done in the streets . . . And you shouldn't look for comfort. Some people will come to a coalition and they rate the success of the coalition on whether or not they feel good when they get there. They're not looking for a coalition; they're looking for a home! They're looking for a bottle with some milk in it and a nipple, which does not happen in a coalition.
For Reagon, it is the belief that politics should be a perfect home—a place of complete belonging, "a womb," as she puts it—which leads to the exclusionary contradictions of much feminism. Feminism envisaged as a "home" insists on commonality before the fact, pushing aside all those who would trouble its domestic idyll. A truly inclusionary politics is an uncomfortable, unsafe politics.”

Islamist Women of Hamas: Between Feminism and Nationalism
If you're interested in the future of feminism in Palestine, it's a good idea to brush up on Islamist "feminism" (not the preferred term by Islamists but functionally accurate). This paper by Dr. Islah Jad is a pretty good intro to the topic. It's outdated, ~2010, but the historical overview is still good.

Ok, everyone, you got what you wanted, and Joe Biden stepped out of the race. So we're all going to vote for Kamala Harris because she's not Joe Biden, she's definitely not old, and we know she can carry this burden because she's smart and articulate and NOT OLD.
You're going to vote for Kamala Harris, right?
You're not going to find more excuses, right? You're not going to talk about how you think she's a cop or not accomplished enough, or not any one of a hundred other things you pull out of thin air because, what, some mythical perfect clean-handed socialist hasn't appeared?
YOU'VE BEEN HEARD. NOW DO YOUR BIT AND VOTE FOR KAMALA HARRIS.

my heart breaks thinking about the elderly women who voted for kamala harris thinking they’d finally get to see a female president in their lifetime only for a man who wants to take women’s right away to win.

“Noa Argamani was treated well!”
She was kept as a hostage slave in a wealthy family’s apartment, forced to clean it whenever they knocked without warning, for EIGHT MONTHS. Just because they fed her does not mean she wasn’t a hostage and a slave. Her mother also has terminal cancer and was afraid she was never going to see her again.
If you start justifying human rights abuses against women, Jews, and Asians (she is half Chinese) because they are Israeli, you were never against antisemitism, misogyny, or wanted to stop Asian hate.
You can support both Palestinian and Israeli civilian lives.

If even acknowledging antisemitism within your community spaces is going to "distract from the cause," maybe that's because the foundation of your beliefs comes down to antisemitism. What you're doing is telling on yourself.

" Even though it's getting worse, even though it's just as devastating as Al Shifa hospital being bombed, fewer people are talking about us. They've forgetten us"
These messages were sent by many Palestinians in different words.
Please don't stop talking about them.
Don't get distracted by the entertainment industry. Much more important things need your attention. Lives depend on it

TERF has become so synonymous with bad person (which is true btw, not claiming it isn't) that people stopped thinking critically about what TERF actually means. Like I just blocked a blog that had TERFs and lesbian men in their DNI. You are still vulnerable for falling into TERF thinking if you keep a strict binary thinking about sexuality and can't imagine multigender people IDing in contractionary ways or trans people having a different relationship with sexuality than you think they should have based on their gender. Just saying TERFs DNI does not make you immune for their thinking or automatically right about your opinions about trans people. Yes, TERFs are bad people, but people have to start thinking critically about what it means to be a TERF...

hello online feminist do you hate men as an extension of the hierarchical class they create, uphold and coercively enforce in society or do you hate men because you genuinely believe they are evil through an inherent biological heritage that cannot be mended
