This is her btw, it's just a test sprite, a very first draft, in the Hades 1 style, but I'm planning to do a better one, and also redesign her for Hades 2.

I kinda went hard on the shadows and sparkly colours, but in my defense, they're pretty.

(Also, I mentioned it before, but she's supposed to be the shade in the arena. She hates that she got a special arrangement that was supposedly made to honour her sacrifice, but instead she can't see either of her brothers, and she's stuck among like... Yeah, those guys. I'm two episodes into Kaos

normally I keep my expectations pretty minimal because, let's be real, the Internet - and especially Tumblr - has a tendency to severely overhype new series to be way better than they actually are and it often leaves me sitting there like "that's it? that's what people were freaking out over for weeks?? that was just a bunch of cheap ships and tropes that i've seen 123785902380 times before" LMAO

BUT thankfully compared to other series like Hazbin Hotel and The Amazing Digital Circus, I haven't been worn out on excessive fandom exposure prior to watching Kaos, so I didn't really know what to expect going in besides what folks have told me so far - it's a modern-day Greek epic, and it stars Jeff Goldblum as Zeus (which is, unsurprisingly, peak casting).

That said, I'm very pleased to say that so far, the show is absolutely blowing me away. The set designs, characterizations, weaving of all the players into a central narrative led by a very coy narrator, all of it feels both refreshing and respectful to the source material at the same time.

so uh yeah that LO animated TV show... we have reason to believe now that it's gotten picked up by Amazon Prime, at least according to the showrunner's LinkedIn and posting history from February of this year that seems to imply LO may have been picked up by Amazon-

(but still, nothing's really been confirmed because they're being so tight-lipped about this you'd almost think it's because there isn't a show happening at all cough)

But even then, that means at best we still won't see anything of the LO TV show adaption for another 2-3 years, depending on how production goes.

Why am I talking about LO right now? Well it should be obvious - Kaos double-whammied LO by beating it to the punch at its own game.

I mean, just look at the creative choices alone in the design of the Underworld and its rulers, our beloved Hades and Persephone.

And yes, the entire Underworld is color-graded like this, something so simple and yet effective in communicating the nature of the Underworld and what it stands for - a place where the past lives on through the dead, paused in time, devoid of the vibrant color grading found in Olympus - or "Olympia" as its been named in this retelling - which is, by the way, a visual treat to take in every time it's featured.

(and yes, that is S-tier-companion Billie Piper on the left, but I will not tell you who she's playing, you actually really should go into this show as blind as possible for the thrill of figuring out these characters as they're introduced <3)

That's not even getting into the narrative structure of the plot itself or the phenomenal casting and acting, but again, I don't want to spoil too much as the show is quite new, and I want to actually finish watching the show myself before I get more into the details of its story and how it delivers it (I'm very much hoping I will still be singing this show's praises at the end of its 8 episodes, please for the love of god don't jump the shark, I don't think my heart can take that kind of pain again.)

All that's to say though, Kaos is, so far, exactly what us disappointed fans of LO deserve after all these years, and frankly, I feel like whatever is coming for the LO animated TV show is really gonna have to step up to the plate to both live up to the bar that Kaos has set as well as stand on its own without being affiliated as a cheap Amazon knockoff living in its shadow. Sounds a little familiar and a bit ironic, doesn't it?

im really not a fan of Rick's recent trend of recycling bits of his writing that got a good reaction the first time and acting as if that's a valid substitute for. actually bothering to write something original a second time around. It's clearly just there as a callback and nothing more.

It's "Nico's rage exploded" and "Percy's rage exploded" with the exact same paragraph formatting. It's CoTG having titles like "My Singing Makes Things Worse, and Everyone Is Totally Shocked" (reference to TLO, when Percy says he thinks his singing would cause an avalanche) or "Pretty Much the Best Good-Night Kiss Ever" (reference to TLO "Pretty much the best underwater kiss of all time") or any other number of near word-for-word references to the first series. It's Nico calling Percy "seaweed brain" in Un Natale Mezzosangue (when Percy says in TTC that anybody but Annabeth calling him that is a major offense). It's Nico and Will falling into Tartarus in TSATS word-for-word referencing Percy and Annabeth in House of Hades, despite it not making any sense for their characters (and otherwise being written as Percabeth 2™). It's the show making huge changes but keeping random "fan-favorite references" (mostly overusing "seaweed brain" and "wise girl" and emphasizing percabeth) only because they're popular in-jokes and considering that a faithful enough adaptation to market it heavily as such. It's lazy writing.

And it's a disservice to the series and to the audience, because it clearly shows Rick doesn't have original ideas anymore (though given all his writing is heavily derivative to begin with, it begs the question how much was original in the first place and how much he has difficulty when he doesn't have a structured mythological plot to work from) and that there is an expectation that the audience will just sit down and accept that behavior hook-line-and-sinker. Everything recently is clearly such lip-service to the audience, either in retcons that are overt speaking-to-camera acknowledgements of things he's been criticized on or wink-wink-nudge-nudges of community in-jokes that have no business in the actual text (see: over-use of ship names in canon). Especially since Rick tends to be about 5 years behind on the fandom uptake. It's just so disappointing to see.

Okay this fic is my favourite so far, its so well written and author is so talented! We get to see Athena&Sally interaction as Sally becomes kind of mentor/teacher in Athena's life, we see Estelle being one of Athena's favourite mortals and most importantly we have sweet Athena&Annabeth moments as Athena tries to be a better mother. Its so impressive that no one is ooc, especially Athena is studied so perfect. It is not finished, Im hella excited for the rest of it you have no idea.Recommend badly, read this masterpiece!

The thirsting part was actually completely accidental; I didn't even have the options for it, at first. Then a couple days later, it belatedly hit my brain that, y'know, people might do that, so I went back and added them haha.

I'm really pleased to have been able to make a decent amount of progress on BotL while FoA was in the publishing queue. At first I figured I might go three chapters before releasing the demo, but the amount of stuff in the first two felt like enough for a first go, I thought.

I am also very excited for further developments in the big chapter two reveal plot; it's a large chunk of what chapter three will be about, as well!

Bony, there's a reason he's surrounded by skulls. Not very long, hard and red just like his horns. The tip is covered with gold, like their feet.

During the fight, some saw blood dripping from his tail, others said that the tail sucked the blood and thus collected the debt of his posthumous debtors.

The bones are not visibly connected to each other, there is a thin, translucent cloud of magic between them. Every joint looks like this, and there are many of them. He can even detach bones from his tail.

He once liked to pay with golden bones from the tip of his tail for everything Mammon bought. Somehow, magically, after a few days the bones came back to him anyway. Mammon was amused at first, but he put a stop to these activities because he found it unfair. He ordered all those defrauded to make up for it in three times the amount, and since then Bimet has stopped paying with bones.

Sensitiveness -2/10. They are literally bones held together by magic. Smooth, unsharp and perfect for rubbing both inside and outside you. Unexpectedly, the magic joints feel rubbery and flexible to the touch.

Eligos

White back, black underside tail. Slightly flattened on the sides, which makes it somewhat resemble a ribbon. Quite stiff, its tip is the most flexible.

Attached to the underside of the tail is a thin membrane as long as the tail. He can spread it like a fan behind his back and over his head, then it shines vividly like it's made of precious metals and gemstones, but when he folds it, it is matte and pastel. 

He doesn't like it when his tail drags on the ground, he always lifts it slightly so as not to stain his beautiful fan.

He has a corset piercing on his back that ends at the base of his tail.  He regrets that he doesn't have any spikes or scales to decorate.

Sensitiveness 7/10. The piercing was hell, but what wouldn't you do for cuteness? 

He will love playing with you, especially since the tip is comfortably rounded, and folds stretch and fills you inside.

Valefor

Golden, also a dragon tail, similar to Mammon's, but longer and not as thick. The scales are darker, like a smoked gold. He is associated with a lion, and indeed the tuft of its tail can look like this when folded.

The tip of his tail turns out to be not a fluffy ponytail, but a powerful shield when he extends it. Unlike the sensitive, butterfly-like Eligos, his tail is as hard as diamond. The edges are not sharp. 

The shield he can deploy is large enough to cover half of a devil and 3/4 of a human.

A long time ago, his and Mammon's scales that they lost were collected, and the first coins were minted from them. The difference was that Valefor's scales were less shiny, so they were made into coins of lower value. Therefore, several coins of lower value make up one of higher value.

Yes, Bimet tried to pay with it.

Sensitiveness 4/10. The tip is completely insensitive, but the closer it is to the body, the more pleasant it is, both for him and for you.

But regarding Charlie… she’s not a guitarhero kid. She’s created the same way the fans headcanon how Emily was created. She’s heavenborn. Emily will be the guitarhero kid. Michael and Adam will have 5 kids in total. But one of them isn’t Michael’s and his name starts with “A” and ends with “Bel.”

Swap AU guitarhero is low-key inspired by Hades and Persephone’s relationship. Hades and Persephone ended up having 2 children, Zagreus and Melinoë. We all know who Melinoë’s father is now, don’t we?

Although Guitarhero swapped with Lucilith while everything is the same is also very interesting!

They wouldn’t be against Charlie’s idea, but whether or not they support it, Charlie doesn’t know. Michael is all about punishing sinners, especially those who truly deserve to be in hell while Adam rules over the hellborns.

They try to be supportive, they really do, But to Charlie, it sounds more like they are trying to appease a child than actually taking her seriously and understand that what’s she’s doing is serious. Adam and Michael are filled with doubt about Charlie’s plan since they know the nature of sinners and they think she’s naive.

Chapter 2

Satoru had learned to deal with the heavy burden of fate before he mastered his ability to walk.

At the very least, it made the constant weight of a crown easier.

He was not only the sole son of Zeus, but he was also the only known child of the big three. The power that he had once been addicted to as a child had grown to taste stale with the accompanying flavor of loneliness that it always left behind. It didn't matter how much he'd use frivolous company to wipe at the crumbs drifting from his lips, the aftertaste would linger. It became a constant in his life even if the other demigods under his command were undeniably powerful. The son of Erebus ran his spies, the son of Ares was his general, he had the favorite daughter of Apollo as his head healer, and his cousin, the next in line to his throne, was the most powerful child of Hecate ever known.

Truly, he was surrounded by power.  But it meant nothing when Satoru was power itself. 

Demigod or not, it was well known that he was a step away from being a deity himself.

A sigh slipped out of his lips while Satoru forced himself to emerge from his wallowing, blinking lazily in Yuji's direction. He wondered, briefly, if he could pretend he had been listening to the genreal's reports the whole time, or if the topic was dire enough that he needed to provide an eloquent response.

“I’m sorry, are the reports of our soldiers dying in battle boring you?” The dark haired man on his left cut in and Satoru snickered at Yuji’s wince. Despite the boy’s heritage and skill, outside of the battlefield, he clearly was not a fan of fighting. He wondered how Ares felt of his favored son and his soft heart, but he supposed it didn't matter. He had yet to see a fight Yuji's been in that he had lost and he doubts he ever will. “It’s fine, Gumi,” Yuji murmured to the other man, reaching forward to place a hand over his own. “I’m sure his majesty has many topics to worry about.”  Satoru swallowed down the spike of envy that rose in his throat, forcing himself to feel happiness for his two comrades. 

The world was bloody and cruel, especially to those two. They deserved their happiness, more than anyone Satoru had ever known.  He just wished the tumbling green monster in his gut agreed with him.

“Did you determine what was attacking the scouts?” Satoru asked, watching as a shadow curled around Megumi’s ear, most likely retelling whatever information had started this impromptu meeting. Megumi had grabbed him during one of Satoru's many but still important leisurely strolls, quickly ushering the king into their conference room. Megumi turned to look at the shadow, nodding his head in confirmation as it slipped down his shoulder and turned back to Satoru.  A pained expression was on his face, the kind he wore when he was just a boy and had to endure relentless teasing from Satoru that annoyed him--but greatly entertained Satoru--to no end.

“Well, we’ve already determined the scouts attacked first," He began, frowning again when Satoru quickly cut him off. “So, this meeting,” Satoru trailed off, raising an imploring eyebrow. Honestly, he could’ve been at the bathhouse, enjoying a leisurely soak, but instead he had to listen to tales of weak men and their unearned arrogance. “They had heard rumors of a son of Hades and–” “Were they true?” Satoru interrupted him again, straightening his position and leaning in, "Did they--could the shadows tell?” He bit his lip in an attempt to hold back his growing excitement, grateful that Megumi knew him well enough to not invite any advisors to their sudden meeting. “With a mere wave of his hand, the dead defended him,” Megumi confirmed, a frown tugging at his lips. “It seems that even if there’s no spirits or skeletons around he can still summon them.”  There was a glimmer of discomfort in green eyes, quickly passing to fade into controlled nonchalance. He supposed it was fitting, a man with even half as many ghosts as Megumi carried would be uncomfortable around a son of death. Still, he couldn’t stop the excitement rushing through his veins as an unfamiliar beat of hope began to pound within his heart.  For the first time, in all his life, he would not be alone.

“Sounds powerful,” Yuji whistled appreciatively, a hand curving around his sword’s hilt, seemingly instinctively. “Better hope he’s an ally, right?” He paused, running a nervous hand through strands of pink hair. “Any chance your shadows know?” As quickly as his excitement was given breath, it choked, leaving Gojo feeling as though he had been lounging out in the sun, only to roll into a pool of ice.  He knew nothing about the son of Hades, neither his name, nor his age, nor his allegiance. “He said he was searching for you,” Megumi told Satoru, folding his hands behind his back.  “Despite his age–” At Satoru’s inquiring gaze, he rolled his eyes before continuing “-- Yes, your age, he doesn’t seem to carry a crest or any obvious sign of a noble family. He has one companion with him, although the shadows report–” Megumi paused, another dubious look passing over his face. “He’s close with the Huntresses and the Amazons.” “Don’t they both hate men?” Yuji wondered aloud and Satoru scoffed. “Arrow or sword to dick kind of hate men,” He crossed his arms. “Odd that he’d have close ties to them.”   “Do you speak from experience?” Megumi asked, in a faux tone of concern. “Should I be concerned, my lord?” His eyebrows raised pointedly and Satoru huffed, glaring at the younger boy. Satoru opened his mouth to deliver a scathing, end of Megumi’s smart mouth, retort, when he was cut off by pounding at the door. He turned to the guard, nodding for it to be opened. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt,” his cousin stood there, a sheepish look on his face. “But–uh–” Yuuta was the second most powerful demigod Satoru knew of, second only to himself.  In moments like these, Satoru could swear the other boy forgets it. “You have a visitor?” “You’re second in line,” Satoru reminded him with an arched brow, choosing to ignore his comment about the visit. He didn’t have anything planned for the day and anyone who deserved his time knew to respect his schedule.. “Why’d you knock?”   Besides, watching his cousin squirm was much more entertaining. 

“Satoru doesn’t have anything scheduled,” Megumi cut in, frowning again. “How did they get in ?” Satoru paused, looking at Megumi and then back at Yuuta.  He was right, the guards shouldn’t have allowed anyone not explicitly written down entry to the palace.

“The guards said that–” His face went slack, turning on his heel to hurry out of the room. “Yuuta?” Satoru called after him, pushing his chair back to quickly rise and chase him down the hall. He could distantly hear the sound of Megumi and Yuji’s footsteps thudding behind him as they raced down the twisting hallway, stopping in front of the throne room. Satoru welcomed the familiar spark of lightning surging through his blood, the electricity dancing on his skin–guaranteeing that anyone who touched him would pay – as Yuuta slammed the doors open to reveal a singular lone figure. “What have you done with the guards?” Yuuta demanded as the man turned to face them. Satoru felt his throat catch in his breath the moment he met his gaze. The man was gorgeous in an Aphrodite probably wants your head on a spike kind of way.  His long dark hair was tied up into a bun, a few strands framing the most intoxicating face he’s ever seen. His eye color was a deep shade of purple, reminding him of the velvet on his own throne.

Please don’t let him be here to kill me , it would really suck to have to put down something so beautiful .

“They’ll be back soon, we just told them we wanted privacy,” the man answered, voice soft and smooth. At his words, another, smaller, figure stepped out from where he had been standing, and Satoru watched Yuuta’s jaw go slack.  The man, while not Satoru’s own type, was also unfairly attractive, even with the facial covering he wore. His ash blond hair was short, unlike the other’s, and his eyes– while also a shade of purple– were lighter, closer to violet, and filled with mirth as he elbowed the taller man. “Well, Toge did.” “Who are you and why are you here?” Megumi cut in as the sounds of his and Yuji’s weapons unsheathing filled the air. Oh, yes, they had technically broken in. 

“My companion is Toge Inumaki,” The man began, motioning at the shorter man, who, despite the dagger and sickles pointing in his direction, lifted his hand up to wiggle his fingers in a wave. “The son of Aphrodite,”

Satoru could’ve sworn he overheard a soft “makes sense ” from Yuuta’s direction, but ignored it as the dark haired man continued. “--and slayer of the east clan of Laestrygones.” The blond’s nose scrunched up, clearly displeased with the added tidbit.  He couldn’t imagine the reason behind it, demigods were more often than not killed by creatures like that. It made sense to introduce themselves with their godly parents and the foes they’ve slain. To this day, Satoru’s name is still followed by Zeus and Gorgon Slayer . “And you?” Satoru pressed, looking at the other man carefully. 

“Suguru Geto,” The man inclined his head in a gentle bow of greeting. “Son of Hades, Slayer of the Chimera and the Hydra of East.” Satoru paused, mouth hanging slightly agape, before he bristled. He’d already killed enough minor monsters to fill a lake with their blood, but when it came to creatures that sent villages running, the only real name under his belt was Medusa. The son of Hades apparently already had two of the most feared monsters under his own.

“ Both of them?” He demanded, crossing his arms, ignoring the exasperated look from Megumi. “On your own ?” Suguru blinked, looking at Toge, who, if the shaking shoulders were anything to go by, was simply laughing at the two of them. “Er, yes?” He sounded confused, tilting his head. “Are you–” He looked back at Toge, the blond man simply putting his hands up. “You are Satoru Gojo, right?” “Son of Zeus, king of the west, slayer of Medusa?” Satoru listed off with a grin. “Yup!”

An unpleasant look crossed over Suguru’s face, as though he had taken a swig of water only to swallow spoiled milk. “And your companions?” “Don’t matter! So, why are you here?”  His tone was probably too casual, all things considered, but they didn’t seem to be considering murder so he figured they shouldn’t either.

“To discuss the growing issue of monsters and violent demigods,” Suguru started slowly, quirking a brow. “It’s rude to dismiss your friends like that, y’know.” “I’m Yuuta!” Yuuta blurted, seemingly knocked out of his stupor. “Son of Hecate, slayer of the West Drakon,” he added as if an afterthought. The blond man–Toge– seemed shocked, eyes widening as he looked at Yuuta. Satoru would’ve laughed at the half concealed bewildered expression, if he didn’t understand the confusion. Yuuta’s soft and kind nature could often be misleading when compared to his power, especially when considering a creature as strong and fearsome of the drakon. Satoru had arrived in time to see Yuuta deal the finishing blow after a long and grueling battle with the massive serpent.  He had watched the man drag the carcass back to the village that had pleaded for his aid and light it himself as an offering to the gods on their behalf.   His cousin may be a timid, kind, soul, but he was a warrior at the heart. “Yuji Itadori,” Yuji offered, waving at the two. “Son of Ares, conqueror of Miletus, slayer of the Erythema boar, and general to the Gojo armies.” “Megumi Fushiguro, son of Erebus.” “See, we all know each other now!” Satoru clapped his hands together, ignoring the incredulous stares from the occupants in the room. “If they wanted to kill us, they would’ve tried by now.” “Succeeded, by now, you mean,” Suguru’s smile was a soft, deadly thing. “You’re right about one thing, we have no quarrel with you. As I said, we’re here to discuss peace, treaties, and plans to protect both of our people from monsters and dangerous demigods.” Satoru’s own smile was sharp in return, the thrill rushing through his veins more electric than any lightning he’s wielded before. “We’ll prepare you both lodgings,” he decided, with a wave of his hand. “We must be good hosts before we can even consider negotiations. You two shall join us for dinner." 

Until dinner gave him time to devise a plan to get to know Suguru, his limits, his control, the width of his power compared to Satoru's own. It seemed that for the first time in his life, Satoru Gojo was no longer alone at the top.

And that's actually the GOOD one, like I would give it maybe a 7/10, but there are also two more figures that are apparently still "prototypes" and uh yeah "subject to change" is right because these. these do not look good-

I'm not trying to dunk on Weta Workshop here, they offer some really great figures from the looks of their shop, it's more so just 1.) LO itself doesn't lend well to other mediums like figurines and 2.) nothing's ever going to make me like LO's art style ever again, I'm too far gone LMAO

I could justify doing all the investigating and spending I had to do to get my hands on Rachel's original design of Persephone in Ladies of Literature Volume 2 which I can guarantee with 99.99998% certainty no other superfan of LO has-

The Owl House

This is probably the first time I'll be posting a detailed review of a piece of media that I like, so witness me sing all of my praises for this animated series from the House of Mouse, because wow, I've never been so invested in a Disney show after rewatching Gravity Falls.

For those unfamiliar, The Owl House revolves around Luz Noceda, a teenage girl who stumbles upon a portal to an alternate world called The Boiling Isles, meets a witch named Eda Clawthorne, learns magic under her tutelage and eventually enrolls in Hexside, a magic school where she makes many friends and goes on multiple adventures.

I binged this whole show in a span of weeks and even stayed up all night on my day off to finish it up to Season 3, the first 2 Seasons being on Disney+ and the latter on Disney Channel's YouTube page.

Simply put, I love it so much! I love how it reminds me of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and, dare I say, Harry Potter, which it even poked fun at, at times. Well-deserved, considering J.K. Rowling’s transphobic views and HP’s underlying anti-Semitic undertones.

I loved the pop culture references to Thor: Ragnarok, Howl's Moving Castle, Metal Gear Solid, and even Hades, among many others! I thought those were very clever and funny, and just a treat for fellow nerds, geeks, and fans of fantasy stories, anime, and video games.

I love the LGBTQ+ representation all throughout the show, which was such a bold move considering Disney’s iffy stance on the subject. None of them were antagonized for it, and it was treated as something normalized in both the Human and Demon Realms. The show featured 2 gay dads, non-binary and aromantic-asexual characters, and one of the internet’s favorite sapphic/WLW couples Lumity, which is the ship consisting of canonically bisexual Luz and implied lesbian Amity Blight, whose rivals-to-friends-to-lovers relationship was just so wholesome, so natural, and very healthy, considering they're both teenagers. Suprisingly, there was very little melodrama, not once were they petty towards one another whenever either party did something wrong, and they never got tired of showing affection towards each other. I found myself shamelessly gushing over how cute, adorable, and supportive they were together, and tearing up a lot during key moments of their relationship, especially when they both found themselves in dire straits as the story progressed.

I love the writing and the character development of them all! None of them felt static, they all grew throughout the series, maturing, getting better, and healing from their own insecurities, trauma, and guilt. The humor and comedic timing was a nice touch, and I was really taken aback by how S2 ended on such a dark cliffhanger with all stakes raised to the roof, similar to A:TLA S2 and The Empire Strikes Back, as mentioned earlier. That season wasn’t afraid to have such a grim ending, with such a great payoff by the end of S3 which is worth celebrating.

I love the animation and art style, which blended colorful and whimsical with eerie and ominous in just the right amounts. As a sucker for animated movies and series such as Adventure Time, The Prince of Egypt, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, it was just such a delight watching it.

I love the overarching message of the show, which is to be truly yourself, to embrace your quirks, and never to limit yourself and your potential based on what the majority of society and the powers-that-be expect from you. All throughout, you’ll find the characters challenging pre-established norms and roles, and it’s just so satisfying seeing them all win.

11/10 top-tier show. Don’t @ me, it’s hard for me to find something I disliked about the series. It's definitely a must-watch, especially if you're sick and tired of all the bleak nihilism of modern adult animation, and you just want to baby your inner child and escape to a whimsical fantasy world with characters you can all relate to. Betting my bottom peso you'll all be hooked, like I was.

Maybe? It's definitely an interesting idea. I'd think that, more than anything, Idia (the character based on Hades himself) would be the one with the helmet to conceal his face rather than his parents though. Yes, they're related so it's entirely possible that Yana and team pulled from similar inspirations when designing the Shroud parents. However, I really feel like the idea overall fits more strongly with Idia's character. This is especially true when we consider how shy and meek he typically is (ie wanting to be and viewing himself as "invisible"), paired with the fact that he actually wore a pumpkin helmet as part of his first Halloween costume. I don't get the same vibes from either parent, especially not Mama Shroud who is very upbeat and most likely married into the family (therefore lacking the "Hades"/Shroud family blood). As mentioned in some of the linked posts, I get Persephone energy from her. Something else I've seen people mention is that the shape and color of the Shroud parents' helmets remind them of Hades' minions from the Disney film, Pain and Panic. I've even seen some fan designs that make the Shroud parents resemble those two, which I think are really cute 🥺
