I jus watched a vid saying that in another universe Luke would’ve walked Annabeth down the aisle at the Percabeth wedding and honestly that feels my roman empire.

(octavian is still my Roman Empire tho, this is kind of like the new rome of it, but like imagine)

that scene in tlo where thalia tells percy he can't start feeling sorry for luke bc luke made his choices. and thalia reveals that the reason they couldn't make it to camp in time for all of them to make it to camp was bc luke kept picking fights. and annabeth never saw this as wrong bc luke was her hero. so thalia had to pick up the pieces. and percy thinking both that luke was put in a cruel position and that luke was putting others in a cruel position. and percy is the only character who understood both sides of luke bc annabeth sees only the best of him and thalia sees only the worst. and that's why percy is the prophecy kid and the one who gives luke the knife. bc annabeth had spent the entire series essentially giving luke the knife when he didn't deserve it. and thalia was never going to give luke the knife. but percy is the only one who can see exactly when luke deserves the knife.

This new Interpretation of Medusa in the new episode of Percy jackson, as a survivor of abuse that directs her pain, because of missing justice, against people that she associates with her abusers, shows not only how much Rick Riordan has grown as a storyteller and interpreter of mythology but also how much we as a community have grown in interpreting and understanding the deeper meaning of mythological storys and the context they were made in.

I've always wondered why the Romans think demigods all of a sudden started getting claimed? They couldn't know about Percy's deal with Olympus, so what do they think happened?

The gods were probably like "as a reward for fighting in the war we will now claim you all!"

The Romans were probably pretty proud of that.

Here are these two kids in the middle of this twisted situation of the gods just trying to survive and figure each other out yet they are willing to see the good in each other and know that they are better than the gods because of that kindness and optimism

i never understood ppl claiming percy has never suffered the consequences of his loyalty. you're talking about percy "i know the prophecy said my friend would betray me but these are my friends they wouldn't betray me" jackson, who walked into a remote part of the forest with luke and almost died in book one. you're talking about percy "kronos told me point-blank there was a traitor but i can't imagine any of these ppl betraying me" jackson, who decided to stop looking for the traitor and moved on. you're talking about percy "nico is acting suspicious and very clearly hiding something from me but he's my friend and i trust him" jackson, who walked into nico's very obvious set up and almost got himself held hostage during the titan war. percy is so loyal that he cannot fathom betrayal until it's happening, and it has nearly killed him multiple times.

I got some i made for fun. Theres this good boy(still needs a name) who ends up giving up the old faith to join the cult, im guessing he could have been from Anura?

I imagine the stronger the enemy the more affected they are by godly ichor and change physycally and mentally from what they used to be? So i like to think in the au Saleos was a healer enemy before becoming a disciple.
