i bet hunter is a HUGE calligraphy nerd.

he probably has a huge collection of fountain pens, specialty ink, paper, and handmade quills.

whenever he went to visit the market for coven supplies, he'd always be on the lookout for artisan pens and paper. he probably has a favourite maker too, and always tried to get something new from them every time.

and when he would go on hunts for the coven, he would keep an eye out for feathers dropped from animals or demons, collecting them for his quills that he'd whittle himself

his fingertips are probably discoloured from all the ink he's used, not to mention all the uniforms he's stained from spilling ink on them (and hiding them from belos to not receive punishments for them).

hunter and lilith probably share this hobby, too. maybe before they started hating each other, lilith would buy him notebooks and pens, and they would pass notes in the halls.

it was probably one of the few forms of self expression he could actually take in the coven. swamped with paperwork at every turn, and with belos watching over him every second, he found a love of writing in his calligraphy showing through the paperwork, the quills and ink and font become his.

its probably funny, after everything, now that he's back in school at hexside, getting to write again, showing up with a full writing setup just to take notes (and even with all the setup it takes he's still the first in and out of the class).

and it's even funnier when they use his academic papers to teach classes cause he probably hates how old they are.

i just love creative hunter. a child who loves to make, between his woodcarving and sewing, and calligraphy.
