I've been rewatching The Owl House for the first time in over a year and since it was the 10th anniversary of the Cartoon Network classic, Over the Garden Wall, I had the idea of combining the two properties for a piece of fanart. I was inspired by the works of another artist, @dazeddoodles, specifically the way of how they can imitate TOH's artstyle yet also avoid copying it by adding their own flair and style to it. It wasn't too difficult to pick who would play the leads in this little alternate universe of mine, since I felt that both Luz and Hunter were quite similar in personality to Greg and Wirt, respectively. It also helps that both pairs are siblings of unconventional relation (Greg is Wirt's younger half-brother and Hunter is informally adopted into the Noceda family). I'll eventually make some screencap redraws of the original OTGW series for this AU, but I haven't really planned out who'd be who here. Belos would obviously be the Beast, but the rest of the cast is up in the air. Does anyone have any suggestions?

"Our Love Is God" is one of my TOH AUs that I wish I could draw more of. As it was stated, it is about Philip becoming friends / falling in love with a witch and then running away with her into the Demon Realm. And, of course, that means that Caleb is the one that gets left behind.

Will Caleb ever find his brother, who was so blatantly kidnapped by the Devil's Hag? Well, I hope to answer that in my future doodles. Because I doubt anyone would read about it.

Well, who was the witch that changed the fate of Philip Wittebane? Camila! Yes, yes, this is a Camilip AU! But Manny is also a part of this universe. Childish and cozy slowburn that leads to inevitable angst.

This is an old sketch, based on a fic I read by Frog_With_A_Mushroom on AO3 (@fruity-phrog here). The concept of Vee and Luz growing up in the opposite realm they did in canon is what initially inspired me to do my AU. I still have barely written anything for it, but one of these days, I'm gonna do something with it.

Okay so this is a stupid idea but I’m just having fun with it. Obviously it won’t follow the hunger games directly because the situation and characters are different, but some stuff kinda connects!!

Katniss and Peeta= Luz and Amity

Prim & Ms Everdeen & buttercup = Vee and Camilla and King

The Mellarks = Odalia (fitting!), Alador, and Ed + Em (fits since both Peet and Ami have two older siblings). I don’t think they’d run a bakery though, but something abomination related that fits here.

Haymitch = Eda

Madge = Gus??

Gale = I’m afraid there’s no Gale equivalent here because it doesn’t make sense in this AU, and I’m not a fan of love triangles anyway.

Effie = Hooty. This is funny to me. the peak of my fanart career

Cinna and Portia = Darius and Eberwolf

Senecca Crane = Kiki

Snow = Belos obviously

Anyways I kept the human and witch ears because I thought that could be an interesting tie with the Merchants vs Seam. And Amity’s hair is fully green in the interview scene because she got her grown roots dyed during the makeover! In this scenario I imagine Odalia would make her children dye funky hair colours in hopes of getting into the ‘capitol’ equivalent, which I guess is the Emperors Coven.

Also instead of girl on fire, Luz would have some ‘light’ related title.
