i feel like i accidentally struck gold when i found your mlb art. i think at this point i've seen all my favourites/comfort characters in your art and style and the way you present them is so unapologetically human that it really brings them away from feeling like perfect little suggestions of humans and into feeling more realistic and relatable. they're imperfect, but beautifully so and visibly so, rather than the kind of imperfections the characters in the show tend to learn themselves away from. even something as simple as the acne scars you give luka help to bring the characters all closer to reality. the senti-kids all being disabled also humanises them a lot in my opinion. there is something about having someone (or multiple people) who is not considered human, but who is given something that makes them so undeniably and inexplicably human in experience that resonates with me heavily. needless to say i find these depictions comforting and very relatable. i feel there's a lot more i could say but it's uh. very late as im writing this. thank you so much for sharing your art like you do and being unapologetic about your representations of various characters. its inspiring to a degree ive yet to fully uncover.

Yes he is! Sometimes, that is irrelevant to certain people. Even if I disagree, the people who worked on the show may have ignored this fact because it did not matter to them.

I swear that the animators for Chat Noir gave him built in fan service because literally no other character moves the way he does, even Ladybug.

He's very much a character design inspired by fetish culture (speaking as someone in that specific community), which some other characters also reference (Reflekta comes to mind). I think that, plus his very charismatic demeanor leads to him being put in precarious scenerios. Count how many times another male villain pushes him down. Or that episode where he becomes Audrey's boy pet.

Also they were probably horny for him.

I might make one later but currently I've drawn like. A fraction of the cast. I don't intend to fully redesign characters, mind you, I just draw someone on model and end up adding things up them lol, so it wouldn't really be useful because of how minor the changes are.

Hello! Have you ever heard mlb (miraculous ladybug) has some simmilarities in terms of lore with Evangelion?

In the youtube community someone made a video about it but before watching that video, since at first I had no idea what the anime was exactly about I started to watch it to see how much is true... I could tell that indeed, a good 30% of it (even outside of the lore, and ignoring depressed Shinji sitting reference in the last special) looks alike lol 🤔... but are the writers aware of that or was it just a coincidence?

I can't think of like. Full on parallels. Since I'm assuming Adrien is Shinji and I don't really see it. But Kagami has Rei's brand of autism and Luka is extremely fucking Kaworu to Adrien so. Maybe? I don't think it's a direct parallel, but I do think it was an inspiration.
