Fortnite with Enha hyung line!!
(my first post on tumblr so idrk what im doing fr)
Heeseung
Wbk hes a gamer like…
I dont think he plays fortnite as much as valorant tho
Still at level 200 something lets be fr
A pc player
And always plays builds
Hes been playing since it dropped so he got all the cool nd fun emotes from previous seasons
Plays with the “manly skins” but drops the most girly pop emote after killing someone
He kills someone but you steal the loot
Call that s/o fortnite tax
Always makes sure you have shield and full health before he does
He carries sorry LOL
“Babe hes behind you…”
“BEHIND YOU SHOOT SHOOT”
“STOP YELLING AT ME”
Buys the battle pass every season
Jay
Plays a lot but not as much as hee
Ur fortnite sugar daddy
“Baby can I have the true heart emote”
BOOM
And now you have true heart just like that
A master at fortnite festival I must say
He switches between build and zero build
It just depends on what you wanna play
I feel like he plays more on like
A ps5
If you dont have a ps5 console or still have the 4, you guys go and get the ps5 for yourself
If you dont play on a console then you guys go out and buy a pc
#sugardaddyjay
“Baby, lover of mine, light of my life”
“STOP STEALING MY GUNS”
Has a set gun rotation
Does get upset when you steal his guns
He's very serious about it.
Jake
I think you carry the duo hard
Hes just a babygirl
I KNOW he definitely plays
But i think he still gets bot lobbies
Lord help him
“Jake, babe why are you using a sniper hes RIGHT infront of you”
You walk into a room hes in
And he shoots you thinking your someone else LOL
based on a true experience
“Baby what the hell”
“Im sorry :(“
Has the girliest skins and emotes LMFAO
You wanna be a girl SO BAD (pls tell me you get the reference)
Since hes kinda bad, you strictly play zero build
Hes a ps5 player as well
A sucker for lego fortnite
Definetly loves fortnite festival
Bought Buddy Holly by Weezer and now he plays it during games
He gets sniped bc of it
Lord help his aim...
He's so bad but he's trying!
Sunghoon
It takes a miracle to get him to download the game
“Hoon pls we can be cute gamers tgt”
He js sighs loudly because he became his own enemy
A fortnite gamer.
But he sucks it up because it makes you happy
So he downloads the game on his pc
Youve been playing a bit longer
But he definitely gets better than you with time
I apologize LMFAO
“Sunghoon what the hell why are  you getting better than me? Have you been playing on your own when im not here?”
“......”
“Oh my god.. YOU WERE LMFAO”
“Y/n i swear to god.”
So much yelling
“GET IN THE CAR”
“IM FUCKING TRYING STOP RUNNING ME OVER”
“GET IN”
“OKAY FINE”
Overall just chaotic with him

hc for the vongola kids’ favorite video game genres / titles, pt 1 (nami trio); aiming for late 90s-mid 10s which is the general timeline for the series.
tsuna:
mixed PC and console, mostly console (PS2 or Game Cube). already canon that he likes rhythm games (which is so cute and kinda funny considering how uncoordinated he is), so he’s a big fan of Beatmania IIDX, Pop’n Music, osu!, Taiko no Tatsujin, etc. pretty good at them and they help calm his ADHD down. plays Katamari for similar stimulation reasons with the loud cheerful music and straightforward structure.
tried playing DDR and almost actually died. he avoids any footwork ones in the arcade; playing in public stresses him out in general so he usually will buy or rent games for home. Lambo got a Wii for his birthday and between the two of them, the controllers were lodged in the drywall by the end of the day after playing Wii Sports.
likes the Animal Crossing series because it’s cozy, doesn’t get too serious with in-game achievements but plays regularly. doesn’t time travel; got yelled at by Resetti once when he was younger and shut the game off on accident, he cried so hard he almost threw up. feels bad if he leaves his villagers alone too long. when he didn’t have friends growing up, he’d really look forward to in-game holidays and birthdays (sob). trying to collect the squirrels.
will play Smash with Lambo; that’s what helped them bond when Lambo first moved in. fighting games kinda stress him out so this is the most he’ll really play them. his main is Kirby, or Luigi because nobody picks Luigi. :( low to mid-tier.
also they play Minecraft together and are both pretty terrible at it but have fun. introduced it to Gokudera, Yamamoto, and Ryohei and they’ll play it with Lambo when either (or all) of them are babysitting him. Tsuna’s constantly on the death alert feed, usually dying from falling into lava. somehow slayed the Ender Dragon.
gokudera:
PC gamer trash, uses emulators because he can’t afford a console. loves difficult, convoluted RPGs and RTS (gag). does not like online lobbies. horror and sci-fi fanatic, especially survival-esque games that require puzzle-solving like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Bioshock. is one of those freaks who illegally downloads unsettling, semi-dangerous games (like Lostboy, Sad Satan, LSD: Dream Emulator) and plays them with HyperCam on because he’s convinced he’s going to see a ghost. has had to install like 5 firewalls and rebuild his PC once.
Demon’s Souls / Dark Souls loser. has a freakish knowledge of where everything is, including short-cuts and secrets. he focuses on magic and will discard and replace weapons without much thought. knows lore simply from the item descriptions. really strategic, memorizes enemy move sets, but will go the hard way because it’s fun. utterly deranged. it’s honestly pretty impressive but it kinda scares tsuna because how many hours did you put into this? how did you kill that boss so quickly? where is your armor, gokudera-kun—
he doesn’t like most FPS games because they can trigger his PTSD if they’re too realistic, but killing endless undead/demons/monsters scratches a weird itch for him so he can play DOOM, and L4D w/ his vongola friends eventually (he’s constantly reviving Tsuna). really likes Half Life and Portal because aliens and puzzles alongside bip-bip. will play Hotline Miami w/ Shittopi if only for the god-tier music but has to be really stoned with her, else he gets uncomfy w/ the content being so close to his old hitman lifestyle.
hates platformers with every fiber of his being. says they’re for children but really he’s so impatient he sucks at them. Yamamoto made him play Yoshi’s Island and he almost blacked out from sheer rage. only tolerates Pikmin because, again, aliens and puzzles. will play Smash under duress: mains Samus or Fox, mid-tier, loses to Yamamoto half the time. returns the favor in Mortal Kombat which he’s pretty decent at.
the only one who plays Minecraft outside group sessions. has started building late at night when his insomnia is bad; really likes the soothing music and will leave it on even when he’s not playing. makes replicas of structures from his favorite nerd media (currently working on the Enterprise).
yamamoto:
pure console lad, likes the Genesis, the Dreamcast, and the GameCube; his dad has a few older consoles that he’s also inherited. in similar hand-me-down style and true to canon, he owns a ridiculous number of late 90s/early 00s baseball video games. can play them for hours and gets really serious about them.
a Sonic stan. does enjoy some Mario Kart and Smash with the boys (mains Ness or Link, mid-high tier)—but he was a Sonic kid and really wanted Soap Shoes growing up. likes the OG 8-bit side-scrollers like Sonic Adventure 2 the most but his ADHD clings to super fast, timing-based shit like Sonic Heroes. also enjoys Rayman but gets stuck a lot.
weirdly good at Super Monkey Ball and knows how to short-cut in ways previously unknown to man. will launch himself across the level and win in less than 3 seconds. how? “idk just lucky i guess.” plays Baby.
has a few broken, shitty titles like Dark Castle, Pen Pen Trilcelon, Puyo Pop Fever. will make Gokudera play them just to infuriate him; this also applies to annoying platformers, it’s just funny to watch him rage quit. generally will troll Gokudera in video games to get a rise out of him, like dropping gravel on him or flooding his caves in Minecraft; never enough to actually ruin the game but enough to annoy him.
started playing Hitman as a joke but is spooky good at it despite not playing FPS/stealth games. “hey gokudera did you ever get to dress up as—” “for the last time, NO.” is generally pretty bad at games with a lot of details/strategy (other than baseball) because he starts tuning out. strong-arms Gokudera into tag-teaming hard puzzles and co-op games in general to build teamwork.

Any AU + Any char: What kind of videogames would they like to play? If they were interested in them ofc
Hmmm, let's go with UT, US, UF, SFP, and FSG Sans and Papyrus! With the addition of Killer! Sans : While he prefers to read or sleep in his meantime, he would kick ass at Mario Kart or Crash Racing. It always irritates you that, even though he's half asleep, he's still getting 1st while you're somehow stuck all the way in last.
Papyrus : Either Cooking Mama or Super Smash Bros. Weird jump, yeah? One minute, he's getting angry at the DS because Mama is giving him bronze medals because he cut the salami too thick, and the next, he's kicking Donkey Kong's ass as Kirby.
Cobalt : He's not really one for video games, but will happily watch you play while he files some papers for work. It's calming in a way, even when you're shouting curses in the COD lobby. Sometimes you catch him playing Animal Crossing on the switch, in which he hides it and plays dumb.
Honey : He likes Minecraft and Terraria, or anything he can build in. He likes to be creative when bored and will happily let you or Blue join him! You're cool with this until you see the villager sacrifice area...
Red : He likes Mortal Kombat and any shooter games, and will spout curses like he's dissing someone's whole family. You eventually come down at some point and beat him with a newspaper to make him shut up. You're trying to sleep and it's 2 AM dammit!
Edge : He's not too fond of video games, and doesn't like watching them either. He's sighs when you steal the TV from him to play, but doesn't argue, as he knows it's your way of relaxing after work. He has his outlets too. Watching out of the window with Doomfanger as the neighbors argue, sipping from his coffee mug full of wine and petting the cat.
Nox : He's getting fed up with the clicking-clacking of the controller, looking up and down from his book as he watches you play. Why did you have to play Fortnite when he's home? You do nothing but mash buttons and fill the living room with the nonstop noise. He eventually snatches the controller from you, exits Fortnite, and puts on Animal Crossing for you. There. Less raging, more productivity. Take care of your villagers. He keeps reading, now happy with the lack of the constant spamming of the jump button.
Rus : He is such a cheater! He does everything in his power to make sure you end up in last place. Unlike Sans, who plays fair and square and is just good, Rus pushes you, tickles you, distracts you with constant flirtation, whispering dirty things in your ear, and even sometimes kicks the controller from your hand! What a little shit! He does make up for it though but doing everything he said he would though..
Wine : He unplugs the console the minute you get home and mutter something about COD or Fortnite. He doesn't want to listen to you scream at the screen for an hour. He then sits back down on the couch and sips from his wine glass, playing candy crush on his phone.
Coffee : Coffee buys only the scariest of games to play. Resident Evil, Amnesia, Silent Hill, etc. You name it, he's probably played it. You'll come home to the house completely dark, hearing him clicking around on his PC. You go up and standing behind him, watching him play silently. When one of the creatures comes out of nowhere, you scream, which makes him scream, which makes you scream again. He looks over at you, shaking. You're both so scared and it wasn't even fully the games fault.
Killer : Surprising or not, he plays basically any games. The genre doesn't matter to him, scary or the stupidest thing ever, he's down. He plays while sitting between your legs, you on the couch and him on the floor.

I wanna put Kalymir in a COD lobby, it’d be funny
Lets see his comeback game🤣
He would actually make the microphone clip and either people muted/banned him or they'd just get deafened. There's a chance he can get the 12 year olds to cry with some tactics, and frankly you're not sure if you're satisfied or horrified.
Appreciate this rare event, Kalymir is much more of an "in person" type of guy. Also, rest in literal pieces if that was your console/pc because it won't last long.

clearly idk how animal crossing works but do you and gen visit each other’s islands and how do you play games together? 👁️
yes and he only comes to dig up my flowers, bonk my villagers, leave shit all over the beach and cackle back to his island where i've left him wrapped gifts. it's chaotic as fuck. he's like "can i come visit?" and im like "the last time you dug up all of my windflowers no u may not" and he's like "PLEASE I WONT DO IT AGAIN" and then he does it again. i love him so much he's such a damn menace. after i stop playing and go take a nap or whatever he picks up my switch and replants everything he dug up. it's the least he can do.
generally speaking, if we're playing together, it's on pc bc i dislike multiplayer console gaming on anything but the switch. usually he's just sitting next to me and im on my gaming laptop like do do doooo and he's like "wanna play?" and im like "with you...ehhh....." and then he's like "get on now. i'm loading a lobby" and how can i say no to that?

MHWilds Beta thoughts and hunter pictures etc., mostly for myself.
Had fun! I was worried since my laptop is a little dated (2019, I think?) it’d either straight up not be playable, or it’d make it be a million degrees and sound like a helicopter, but it was actually alright! Laptop stayed decently cool, even. Kinda surprised. PC is my only option for Wilds, since I don’t have either of the other consoles and I’m not spending that much for a single game (even if it is MH).
Of course, I had everything about as low as it can get graphics-wise, but aside from some texture funkyness (grainy/etc.) it was okay. I think some of that is actually just beta bugs, so might be better in the full game. It looked pretty bad until I turned off frame generation/DLSS, but with that off it was better. Didn’t have any noticeable frame drops or laggy behavior when capped at 30.
I got the low poly monster bug once on Rey Dau (sadly I didn’t get a screencap), but it actually went away like 30 seconds into the hunt. Which was nice, ‘cause I don’t think it would’ve went well otherwise.
Rey Dau was easier than I was expecting, though it hit really hard. It’s a good hunt! But I think I used up all my RNG karma.
Tumblr media
Balahara is a cool hunt too. Didn’t like Doshaguma very much, but it was better with SA instead of hammer. Chatacabra is okay, very Beginner Monster feeling which is probably the point.
I wish there was a way to mute/hide lobby chat, especially while in a quest. Probably won’t be an issue once we can make solo lobbies anyway, but no way to hide the chat kind of sucks. Stressed me out a bit tbh
Didn’t try out all the weapons, but I’m a little torn on some of the changes they made to SA. The third swing is different (forward horizontal swoosh instead of overhead chop) and messed me up a bit, but I’ll get used to it. Hammer is pretty much the same as ever, just a couple differences. I like the slinger dodge. I do wish it was easier to tell charge level, though. Not sure if I’m missing it, but it seems they did away with the glowy visual cue? Maybe they’ll bring it back as an option?
Tried to make my hunter look like Frye in Wedding, since I’ve been thinking about it recently for some reason. Not sure if I was successful, but that’s alright. Unfortunately, no matter what skin texture option I picked nothing changed and she was always super shiny. Ended up just leaving it on the default.
Tumblr media
For some reason I didn’t make the connection that “you can wear whatever” applied to the default undies and not just armor so. She got the super tight booty shorts. thanks capcom.
Tumblr media
Anyway, I think that’s it. Looking forward to the full game! Happy my laptop will be able to play it, which was my main reason for trying the beta.

purposefully dumb ooc ow hcs my friends and i discussed:
🦊‼️ shimada brothers + kiriko edition
hanzo & genji do like bbq actually. genji prefers honey bbq the most though; contrary to hanzo's favored type. it's not like they constantly argue or anything but it's up to you if they reach an agreement. kiriko's a ranch type of girl fr. for chips? kiriko's sour cream n onion (not self projection).
"oh hey guys so uh haha i got some chips for us!" kiriko pipes up, accidentally walking into a provoking conversation the shimada brothers were discussing (honey bbq vs standard??). they both turn around and look at her; the girl holding an ever-so familiar green bag—sour cream and onion flavoured chips.
hanzo drinks coke and genji has sam's cola as his fave (they're literally like the same i think). kiriko prefers pepsico products because they're sweeter to her (pepsi, dr. pepper, mtn dew). also genji would like lemon lime stuff maybe possibly indefinitely.
also hc that he probably was a soda junkie or something in his youth. over time though he kinda savors it like a "fine wine"; where he'd prefer to not have it by himself. rather, he'd drink it to complement a certain food he's having. this one actually makes sense somehow.
hanzo's a playstation person, genji's xbox, and kiriko's nintendo. basically colour coded fr. apparently also: hanzo's pc, genji's console, and kiriko's mobile. though, my friend INSISTS that genji's a mobile player (he plays mobile fortnite and probs got that samsung galaxy skin).
hanzo plays fortnite also to "practice his aim". genji (un)ironically gets all of the anime collab skins and somehow is goated with pickaxing the poor players early on. kiriko is their supplies manager and carries all of their meds and shields because the brothers are busy collecting all of the cool broken guns.
i'm unsure who'd be super good at building. i feel like they'd purposefully play on no build because "only the most talented players don't rely on building" or something dumb as kiriko instinctively pressed the buttons to build stairs as they get third-partied.
btw kiriko loves driving cars esp the fast sports ones and makes one of them sit on top of oit (since only two players max can get on it). she interrupts battles that other plays are in and has genji and hanzo pick off the surviving ones like little scavengers.
they're so good and can actually get into comp stuff, but they'd rather not since they're "lighthearted" (hanzo's upset he's getting bot lobbies and genji's getting reported for "hacking" whilst kiriko's the string holding the whole team together).
if they played splatoon obvs you can tell hanzo's stringer, genji's splatana and maybe kiriko's something supportive like n-zap whilst still having great frontline potential.
i know a lottt more about 2 than 3 actually. i'd say maybe genji would like things with echolocator even if that's more of a widow thing. i thought of reg. squiffer first but that's my main but i think mainly it's how genji can rush in and w aggressive front/mid-line squiffers you just see them go in and out of the ink, trying to kill you w either trickshots or something dumb (it's ok ily guys). also genji's ranged too as well.
maybe also he might play roller because 1: technically melee (his sword) + in reference to his shurikens, the vertical and horizontal spray of the roller can be in reference to his. or maybe he's ANNOYING and plays carbon roller (deco) with ninja squid. ninja squid.
hanzo plays pure mpu bamboozler and then shits on other players for having pure gear because "it's way more affective to have a mixed, sorted array subs instead of trying to make it all the same"/j
tbh the whole "genji, hanzo and kiriko" stuff is just literally splatoon 3 splatfests honestly. hanzo's vanilla ice cream, genji's chocolate, and kiriko's strawberry. i don't know how to explain it.

first day of teaching went..... well it went, lmao.
showed up to the department to get my print card and (shared) office key. tried to find said office, to no avail. slapped a few changes on the reading schedule, tried to figure out if there was somewhere nearby/easy access where i could print copies (idk why but i assumed there would be.... a dept printer/copier???? but it seems like..... there's not?), also to no avail. figured it's fine, i'll just share it on the screen and bring print copies on friday.
walked all the way around the building our room is in bc the door looked like an employee entrance or something, then finally went in and walked in the wrong direction (which is fine, i located the washrooms). turned around and walked back through a small crowd to poke my head into the room to see what they were waiting for (it was me, they were waiting for me. i forgot undergrads do that at the start of term).
i walked in, looked around like, wtf???? because this room is clearly designed for theatre classes--it's even got black velvet curtains all the way around its weird possibly circular shape. i'm not sure of the shape bc i was too distracted by the fact that there didn't seem to be ANY kind of pc or console where i could either connect my laptop or pull up a copy of it, and didn't see any clear indication of a projector screen, either (turns out its way up to fuck high and painted black, so no wonder i didn't spot it). so i wound up writing out some of the key details of the syllabus on the whiteboard (course code & title, my name, required texts, and the assessment breakdown).
hopefully they don't think too poorly of me now, lmao. i also had to ask if i'm supposed to let them out early. the answer is no, *uni* actually builds "passing time" into their scheduling system--brilliant and revolutionary--and it also turned out that i had noted the course end time wrong, lol. a student also informed me that one of the required texts is actually available as an ebook at the library, so that's good! wish i'd thought to check that myself though :')
one fun thing, though, is that one of the students who came up to me after class asked "do you know a patricia *shared lastname*?" and i was like, yeah dude she's my aunt! and he goes, "i had her in high school. she was awesome." so that was a cool lil coincidence!
then i wound my way to the library to check things out, and ended up sitting on a bench in a lobby-type area on the third floor to make more changes to the reading schedule (to make it slightly less insane) and finally post it to the course website. we're meeting again on friday and by they i will have printed some copies of the syllabus and also the instructions for their group presentation assignment!

for christ's sake
I understand Gun is in a complicated spot, to say the least, but removing PC crossplay is going to kill a good chunk of the playerbase, guaranteed. Like, sure, I'm a little worried about super long queue times in the near future, but more pressing - how many mixed groups are just going to give up and go back to DBD and never look back? All we can really do is hope they figure out the cheating thing sooner rather than later. Honestly I might prefer a "console only crossplay" option on console that's checked by default, but I'm sure that's a lot to ask.
But nobody is talking about the "launch with 6" thing. Has anyone ever truly had a lobby close on them for not starting? How is "the game will start anyway but with unbalanced teams" even a little bit of a fix? "But 98% of lobbies get a full 7" great, then why change it at all? Except to guarantee a small minority of lobbies end with unbalanced games that I'm sure victims are just gonna disconnect from anyway.
all I want is a halfway decent DBD competitor to exist.
