Guilty Gear: Strive DLC character Venom launches March 24 - Gematsu
Guilty Gear: Strive downloadable content character Venom will launch on March 24 for $6.99 / 880 yen, Arc System Works announced.
Here is an overview of the character, via the game’s official website:
Venom (voiced by Junichi Suwabe in Japanese, Howard Wang in English)
Easy to Use: ★☆☆☆☆
He is a gentle and honest man who can barely bring himself to lie. There is a rigidity to his speech that suggests he favors reason above all else, but in fact, he places high importance on emotion, empathy, and humility. During the battle with Bedman, the leader of the Assassin’s Guild Venom dies—to the outside world, at least. After Robo-Ky saves his life, he attempts to fund his repairs by taking any work he can get, until Zato gifts him ownership of the store where he opens his bakery. Through his new life as a baker, Venom learns of a new and unfamiliar “battle.” He grows fond of the townspeople who fight not to take the lives of others but for their own pride, and swears to protect their “battlefield.” And so begins his new battle: baker by day, mysterious punisher “Phantom” by night.
Guilty Gear: Strive is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.

The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Midsummer’s Mirage and the Journey of Dreams adds PS5 and PC versions, launches October 2 in Japan - Gematsu
Visual novel The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Midsummer’s Mirage and the Journey of Dreams will launch for PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC via Steam on October 2 in Japan for 5,280 yen, publisher Bushiroad Games announced. It will support and English and Japanese language options. A limited edition will be available for 11,000 yen.
The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Midsummer’s Mirage and the Journey of Dreams was originally only announced for Switch earlier this month, but at the time, a YouTube premiere page for the game’s opening movie—planned for release today—had been accidently published an entire month earlier. The thumbnail of that premiere revealed the addition of PlayStation 5 and PC versions, as well as the October 2 release date. But today is the first official announcement.
Here is the story synopsis, via the official website:
A non-human being living alone in the night of London. One night, he encounters a young girl named Letty, calling for help amidst the fog. Rescuing her from the darkness, he learns that she has lost her memories and doesn’t know why or how she ended up there, and the two become friends. Wanting to help the first friend he’s ever made, the non-human Sol sets out to find “The Thorn Mage” Elias and Chise—whom he has heard of through rumors from the fairies—in hopes of restoring Letty’s memories.
