Get the latest details below.
Before setting on a journey across the continent of Aladiss to uncover its mysteries alongside Yumia, fans can lose themselves in the marvelous world that awaits them in a brand-new trailer. Players can also learn more about the key members of the Aladiss Research team with the latest artwork by beloved artist Benitama. In Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, players will follow alchemist Yumia Liessfeldt as she joins the Aladiss Research team in hope to unravel the mysteries behind the cataclysm that destroyed the once great continent of Aladiss. Spearheaded by the Order of Eustella and led by Erhard, the Aladiss Research team is an organisation focused on investigating the fallen land of Aladiss, and is composed by researchers, adventurers and mercenaries. Yumia and her friends will be tasked to travel across the three regions of the continent to uncover the mysteries hidden in the ruins of the fallen Aladissian Empire. Yumiaâs journey will begin in the Ligneus region, where the Research team established its first base, far from the Aladissian capital. Yumia will travel through the plains and forest that make up the landscape, and discover research facilities abandoned by the alchemists of the time. Among the points of interest in the region, players will visit the Arbor Botanical Garden and the 8th Laboratory, before continuing their journey. Players with a passion for fungi of all kinds will be delighted to explore the Sivash region, renowned for its mushroom-like flora, where Yumia will encounter the demihuman Welleks people. While exploring the region, the team will meet the Neru people, a tribe of monsters capable of human speech and easily recognisable by their slender silhouette and mushroom-like umbrellas. Before heading to the next region, players can pause to contemplate the Preces Cathedral, a place of worship at the centre of the Welleks settlement, or explore the impressive ruins of a school, known as Hermea Academy. The third region is the industrial Auruma region, filled with the ruins of a once thriving city. Among the ruins still standing, players will discover a tree-like metal structure, as well as its commercial district, featuring a station. Yumia will also visit the Mana Transposing Furnace, which was once the nerve centre for the study of mana for the whole of Aladiss. During their stay in the region, the team will encounter the Geni tribe, unique for possessing feathers and beaks like birds. Everyone who purchases either a physical or digital edition up to two weeks after release will receive the âAthlete of Memoriesâ early purchase costume for Yumia, the âFloating Object of Memoriesâ costume for Flammi, and the unique âTraining Wrist Weightâ equipment.

Metal Bringer launches March 12 - Gematsu
Roguelite action game Metal Bringer will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on March 12 for $19.99, publisher PLAYISM and developer Alphawing announced. It will support English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language support. An updated version of the PC demo is also available.
Here is an overview of the game, via PLAYISM:
â About the Game
About
Metal Bringer is the second game in the Bringer series, and this time, the setting is completely differentâin this game, you fight in a sci-fi world with androids and giant robots in horde-based combat thatâs even more satisfying than the last game all while enjoying an in-depth character customization system.
Key Features
-Highly Customizable Player Characters and Arms â Build and control android soldiers called âLabor,â or have them pilot giant machines called âArms.â Each and every Labor and Arms you build is highly customizable. You can change the color and appearance of their features, or swap out parts to change their fighting styles.
-Effortlessly Wipe Out Hordes of Enemies â Labor can be strengthened by installing different types of apps. App disks can be obtained by defeating enemies, but you lose all installed apps when you fall in battle. However, by analyzing an appâs data at a shop, you can use it when you customize your next Labor, allowing you to perform better each run until you can freely trample all over your opponents with ease.
-Obtain Enemy Arms Parts on the Go â Even the most powerful Arms will eventually wear down, but when that happens, you can use Arms parts left behind by the enemy. Whatâs more, you can analyze the blueprints of powerful Arms parts over the course of the game, which unlocks various customization options. Find out what kind of gear suits you best to build the ideal mech.
-Ray Tracing and Ever-Changing Music â This game uses the same retro art style as Samurai Bringer, and just like Samurai Bringer, it also implements a real time pixel art generating system, and will also feature the newest raytracing technology for beautifully lit environments. The music too is made with the newest technology, as it is played in real time and changes according to how your fights are playing out.
-All-Star Art Team â The protagonist Suria and the keyart were designed by Suzuhito Yasuda, and on the writing team, we have Sami Shinosaki on board! The pixel art portraits for Suria are drawn by illustrator kutsuwa.
Suzuhito Yasuda â Illustrator, manga artist, and character designer for multiple popular games and media, such as Durarara!! and the Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor series. Creator of the ongoing manga series Bootsleg and Yozakura Quartet (serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius).
Sami Shinosaki â Novelist. Known for the novelizations of the Armored Core and Fire Emblem series.
â About the New Demo
When we released the first Metal Bringer demo back in October 2024 for the Steam Next Fest, it received a âMostly Positiveâ rating on Steam. Ever since, weâve improved and polished the demo based on user feedback, and this new demo has been overhauled to provide an even better experience. Whether youâve already played the old demo, or if this is your first time hearing of it, please give the new demo a try, and we hope youâll enjoy it! Note: As we will continue to improve the full game based on feedback received from the demo, demo progress will not be saved. Demo save data will not carry over to the full game.
Improved Tutorial â The tutorials have been expanded, and weâve adjusted the timing of when tutorials are displayed relative to player progression, making it easier to understand the gameâs system as you play. Gameplay tutorials can also be accessed at any time by opening the Control Guide from the pause menu.
Balancing Changes â Weâve adjusted various aspects of the gameplay such as the difficulty curve and the player characterâs initial parameters, as well as optimized the lock-on systems and default input config. This should make the game easier to play from the get-go even with your characterâs initially weak abilities.
User Interface Changes â Weâve changed the user interface of the Labor and Arms assembly menu, making it possible for players to compare the specs of weapons and Arms Gear while assembling a new unit. We have also changed the on-screen map and indicators for easier viewing.
New Story Elements â The demo only contains a small part of the story, but we have added a large number of story elements to the demo, including conversations with enemy Labor and events that reveal more about the gameâs world. We hope this will allow players to learn more about the world of Metal Bringer and have a more immersive experience.
Miscellaneous Changes â Weâve also made other small improvements to many aspects of the game, such as improving the shop system, adding the ability to withdraw D-Chips in the field, improving the map functionality, and adding new apps and OS tuning options. Please try out the demo to see what it has to offer!
Demo-Exclusive Modes
Newbie â Power up and customize your Labor with apps as you learn the basic game mechanics and play through the beginning of the story. Your Labor will start out weak, but keep growing stronger to defeat a boss within the time limit!
Extreme â Use Labor and Arms that have already been strengthened to a certain extent to take on mid-game battles. Choose whatever kind of Labor, weapon, and Arms you like to overpower the boss!
Extreme Mode is unlocked from the title screen after you watch the opening scene and roll out on an investigation for the first time in Newbie Mode.

Red Dune games also released a special interview with voice actors Kappei Yamaguchi, Ai Orikasa, and Seiichiro Yamashita on returning to the series for its 35th anniversary:
â Kappei Yamaguchi (Yattarou)
How did it feel to record Yattarouâs voice again after so long?
Kappei Yamaguchi:Â âYattarou, alongside Ranma, is one of my foundational roles as a voice actor. When I first heard about the game, I was absolutely thrilled, and now that it has become a reality, I couldnât be happier. I was especially surprised to learn that the game is being developed in the Netherlands! It felt amazing to say âTenkamuteki no DaishĆri!!â (âUnrivaled, ultimate victory!!â) again. I love Yattarou so much!â
What was it like reuniting with the original cast? And what are your thoughts on Seiichiro Yamashita joining as the new voice of Sukashii?
Yamaguchi: âHearing Kon-chan (Koâon-no-Kami) and Gen-chan (Gennarisai) banter, KenyĆ«-sanâs witty narration, and the NyankÄ« squadâs signature introductionsâit was like stepping back into the recording studio from all those years ago. I was also blown away by how faithfully the trailer recreated the original animation style. The love and dedication from the Dutch development team truly shine through. And of course, a big thank you to Seiichiro Yamashita for bringing Sukashii to life!â
What are your thoughts on the 35th anniversary of Kyatto Ninden Teyandee, which continues to be loved both in Japan and overseas as Samurai Pizza Cats?
Yamaguchi: âCongratulations on 35 years of Kyatto Ninden Teyandee! Over time, Iâve been hearing more and more people say, âI loved Teyandee!â and it makes me so happy. The fact that this series continues to be loved not only in Japan but also overseas is truly special. This is a work that I will cherish forever, and Yattarou will always be an irreplaceable part of my career.â
â Ai Orikasa (Pururun)
How did it feel to record Pururunâs voice again after so long?
Ai Orikasa:Â âI was deeply moved by the quality of the visuals. The passion of the game development team for this series was so evident, and it made me incredibly happy. Seeing Ko-on-no-Kami and Gennarisaiâs interactions was exciting, and I was delighted to say Pururunâs signature catchphrase once again.â
What was it like reuniting with the original cast? And what are your thoughts on SeiichirĆ Yamashita joining as the new voice of Sukashii?
Orikasa:Â âEven after 35 years, this series remains as vibrant as ever in my heart. The moment I stepped into the studio with Kappei-san and the rest of the team, Pururunâs lines just came naturally. SeiichirĆ Yamashita did a fantastic job as Sukashiiâhe really captured the characterâs essence.â
What are your thoughts on the 35th anniversary of Kyatto Ninden Teyandee, which continues to be loved both in Japan and overseas as Samurai Pizza Cats?
Orikasa: âEven our post-recording gatherings (laughs) were a blast! I truly believe the camaraderie among the cast and crew translated into what audiences loved about the show. It is such an honor to be part of a series that continues to be cherished after all these years. Please continue to support Kyatto Ninden Teyandee!â
â Seiichiro Yamashita (Sukashii)
Were you familiar with Kyatto Ninden Teyandee before? What was your experience recording for the trailer?
Seiichiro Yamashita:Â âTo be honest, I wasnât familiar with Kyatto Ninden Teyandee before this project. Itâs incredible to be involved with a series that predates my birth. The recording session was truly specialâI had the privilege of performing alongside legends like Kappei Yamaguchi, watching them work up close in such a dynamic setting.â
How did you feel about taking over the role of Sukashii from your senior colleague Jurota Kosugi?
Yamashita:Â âEven now, I feel like itâs too great an honor to say Iâve âinheritedâ the role. This is my first time stepping into a character previously portrayed by another actor, and I was deeply conscious of preserving the image of Sukashii that fans hold dear. The encouragement from the production team was invaluable, and this has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me.â
What are your thoughts on the 35th anniversary of Kyatto Ninden Teyandee, which continues to be loved both in Japan and overseas as Samurai Pizza Cats?
Yamashita: âStories have a way of leaving lasting impressions on people, and the love for Kyatto Ninden Teyandee has endured over decades. To see that love manifest in a brand-new game is truly extraordinary. This opportunity is a treasured milestone in my acting career, and I hope fans continue to support the series for years to come!â

Guns Undarkness demo launches February 24 - Gematsu
Publisher Kodansha and developer MegaRock will release a demo for stealth-based science-fiction RPG Guns Undarkness for PC via Steam on February 24, the companies announced.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
A strategy JRPG helmed by lead developer Shoji Meguro (composer for the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series). Customize your arsenal of unique firearms to dominate the battlefield and forge relationships with your team to bolster your combined abilities during intense turn-based combat.
A turn-based tactical JRPG inspired by games like Metal Gear Solid and Persona.
A relationship system that boosts the protagonist as you grow closer with your teammates.
A story set in a futuristic world on the verge of global and societal ruin.
A meeting of the minds Shoji Meguro (Persona, Shin Megami Tensei), Ilya Kuvshinov (Ghost in Shell: SAC 2045, The Wonderland), and Lotus Juice (Persona series).
Story
The year was 2045 and humanity was in a state of abeyance that allowed technology to flourish, but deepened the social divide between the rich and the poor, the Haves and the Have Nots. Within the ranks of the latter grew a faction who planned the Great Resetâan event steeped in primitivism that would change the course of humanity. The Thousand Plateaus launched two weapons of mass destruction, triggering a worldwide nuclear war. And so, the Great Reset was accomplished. Enter our Protagonist, a rookie member of a private military company tasked with handling the worsening situation. It is up to you to discover the truth behind love in a world wracked by devastation and whether humanity is capable of being revolutionized.
Gameplay
Guns Undarkness is a futuristic JRPG that combines tactical positioning with turn-based strategy.
-On the Field
On the field, the player will control the Protagonist and up to 3 allies.
Use hand signals to instruct your allies to hide at select spots and then order them to cover you. Once you have the highlighted enemy in your sights, itâs time to open fire!
If your team engages the enemy while totally hidden then youâll activate an attack bonus. The more you fire during this bonus, the more damage youâll deal before the battle begins.
Hidden or not, once you fire on the enemy your team will leap into a turn-based battle.
Attacks are basic actions that donât consume SP, while Skills use SP but pack more punch. Attacking from behind cover? Then unleashing your skills with no cost to your SP!
The affinity of your weapon and that of your targetâs TAGS (defense suit) will determine how much damage you deal. Manage to strike your enemy in a weak point and you can deal massive damage, while an enemyâs defense value can also reduce the amount of damage they take.
Hit an enemyâs weak point with a normal attack and youâll be able to duck into cover. All skills are powerful, but there are also guns with special buff / debuff abilities.
-Status Screen
Winning a battle earns your team two types of experience points: Character EXP and Gun EXP. Leveling up boosts a characterâs stats and unlocks new skills for guns.
-Off the Field
Off the field, you and Alpha Team will spend your downtime outside of missions in the Maroon, an amphibious submarine that the team uses as their hideout. Youâll use the hideout to accept quests or visit shops and other locations on the world map.
-Gun Customization
Youâll be able to enhance the guns you own by adding parts. Youâll even acquire blueprints and materials thatâll let you build new guns as you progress through the story.
Characters
Led by Commander McGovern, the Alpha Team is one of the offensive units that work for BTI, a large American private military group. The team was originally composed of McGovern, Will and Zachâtwo men who had been her subordinates back when she was a marineâand Naomi, an advanced combat android. Our story begins with the Alpha Team welcoming in their fifth memberâthe Protagonist.
Protagonist â The main protagonist, and the playerâs avatar. After working his way through the ranks of numerous private military groups, he becomes the newest member of the BTI Alpha Team. Thanks to his exemplary combat ability, heâs the only member of Alpha Team kitted out with the latest TAGS equipmentâdefinitely not something typically gifted to a rookie.
Sofia â A bright and cheerful 17 year old; sheâs the only child of the great scientist Dr. Cowen. Despite her uneasy relationship with her father, she chooses to take over his research in the midst of nuclear war with the hope of creating a brighter future for mankind.
Will â Despite his earnest nature making him seem like a softy, he provides serious support to the Alpha Team when equipped with a shotgun. Heâs like a brother to the Protagonist, a former U.S. Marine alongside Zach, and once served under the same superior as Alpha Team Commander McGovern.
Naomi â A high-performance combat android, she has no problems conveying emotion or communicating with humans. While Naomi has a gentle, motherly disposition, sheâs also a reliable member of the Alpha Teamâs offensive, charging across battlefields with her handgun.
Leon â A silent mercenary of mystery. In his younger years, he worked as an assassin until General Zhang, leader of the Thousand Plateaus, hired him to do his dirty work. About
The Thing: Remastered is a faithful restoration of the cult-classic 2002 third-person survival horror shooter game inspired by Universal Pictures and filmmaker John Carpenterâs genre-defining 1982 film, The Thing. Nightdive Studios has upgraded this horrifying classic for the modern era through its proprietary KEX Engine for play on current-generation gaming devices up to a 4K resolution at 120FPS. Improvements to character models, textures, and animations have been hand-crafted by Nightdive Studios, with the implementation of advanced 3D rendering for updated lighting and atmospheric effectsâfor a suspenseful and disgustingly detailed remaster that reanimates the thrilling game for modern audiences. In the frozen arctic tundra, a mysterious shape-shifting alien has wiped out the crew of the U.S. Outpost #31 research facility. In The Thing: Remastered, players step into the boots of Captain J.F. Blake, the leader of a United States Army Special Forces rescue team sent to investigate the blood-curdling events that transpired in the original The Thing film. Trapped by the elements and at risk of infection by a horrific entity, Blake must keep his squad together to survive by gaining their trust and ensuring that their fear and paranoia donât get the best of them⊠or himself.
