Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling version 1.2 update now available - Gematsu
Publisher Dangen Entertainment and developer Moonsprout Games have released the version 1.2 update for adventure RPG Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling in celebration of the game’s fifth anniversary, the companies announced.
The update adds the following content:
-Fishing in The Fishing Village – Catch worms and reel in some fun!
-New Post-Game Boss Fight – Face off against the heroes of legend in B.O.S.S. mode!
-Team Up with Allies – Watch allies you support join you through a new special medal!
-11 New Medals – Expand your strategies with even more new gameplay-altering medals!
-New Items to Discover – Scattered across the overworld, waiting for explorers to find.
-One New Music Track – A brand-new addition to Bugaria’s already beloved soundtrack.
Vi’s Beemerang now has an option to lock angles to the nearest eight cardinal directions in battle.
A grace period added after falling droplets allows for easier freezing.
Various language fixes, minor balance and bug resolutions, and more!
“This update is a love letter to the incredible Bug Fables community,” DANGEN Enertainment said in a press release. “For those who have already journeyed through the world of Bugaria, this update offers a perfect excuse to return. And for newcomers, there has never been a better time to jump in and experience the award-winning adventure for the first time.”
Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, GOG, and itch.io.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection launches February 27, 2025 - Gematsu
Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection will launch for Switch and PC via Steam on February 27, 2025, Konami announced.
A physical edition will be available for Switch, which includes one of two Quarter Century Secret Rare “Harpie’s Feather Duster” cards.
Konami also revealed Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction will be included in the collection.

The “Moon Holy Grail War” begins anew… The setting is a Spiritron virtual world called “SE.RA.PH.” built on the moon. Master and Servant
128 of the world’s top hackers, each capable of transforming their soul into Spiritrons, are selected as Masters to participate in the Holy Grail War. Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom announced for Switch

Publisher eastasiasoft and developer Idea Factory have announced Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom, a remastered compilation of Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms and Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds for Switch. It will launch in 2024.
Both Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms and Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds have already been released for Switch in Japan, and for PS Vita and PC worldwide, but this collection marks the first time the Switch versions will be available in English. This release also includes revisions to improve English localization based on feedback from the fanbase.
Pre-orders for the physical editions will open exclusively via Play-Asia on January 11 at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET. What is Meiji Tokyo Renka: Full Moon? – Meiji Tokyo Renka: Full Moon is a historical romance fantasy game in which the main character travels back in time to the Meiji era and meets and falls in love with the great figures of history.

Story
The main character, Mei Ayatsuki, an ordinary high-school girl, is transported back in time to the Meiji era by the self-proclaimed magician Charlie, whom she meets on the night of a red full moon. It was a slightly mysterious Meiji period “Tokyo” where the existence of Mononoke was recognized. With Charlie’s guidance, she arrived at the Rokumeikan. The protagonist sneaks into the party and is met by historical figures such as Ougai Mori, Syunso Hishida, Otojiro Kawakami, Kyoka Izumi, Gori Fujita, Yakumo Koizumi, and Tosuke Iwasaki. Through her interaction with them, the protagonist realizes that she is a “Tamayori” and has a highly prized ability in the Meiji period that allows her to see Mononoke. Having ability changes her relationship with them… In this unfamiliar time, love affairs grow as she comes into contact with good-looking men during her daily life. Will the protagonist be able to return to her original time or…? Does love transcend time and space? How does it end?
