An overview of Gnosia PS4/PS5 Preorder Bonuses
(As far as my knowledge. There may be some mistakes or some things missing, I'm only one guy and I'm human after all.)
Gnosia is releasing physically on PS4 and PS5 in December this year (specifically on December 14th.) It's availible for pre-order on a bunch of different sites, with a bunch of different pre-order bonuses of a bunch of the different characters. I wanted to make a post with information for all of the items that I know of in case it's helpful for anyone else :]
AmiAmi - Setsu Acrylic Keychain
You can pre-order Gnosia on AmiAmi for PS4 here, and for PS5 here
AmiAmi ships worldwide, so it's likely the easiest option for a lot of people outside of Japan. Though please note that the cost on the product doesn't include shipping!
Sofmap - Gina and SQ Metallic Card
You can find the Sofmap Preorder for both games here
Sofmap only ships within Japan, so an overseas order would require the use of an international forwarding company.
Yorozuya Beak - Sha-Ming Acrylic Stand
You can preorder on Yorozuya Beak for PS4 here, and for PS5 here
Since the entire site is in Japanese and I don't read Japanese, I'm not sure about shipping, but I'd assume that a proxy or international forwarding company would be required for ordering outside of Japan.
Neowing / CDJapan - Setsu Illustration Card
You can find the CDJapan preorder for both games here
As far as I can tell, CDJapan does ship to some countries outside of Japan, however I'd recommend looking into it yourself before placing an order, as I've also never ordered from the site.
Ebten - SQ Acrylic Keychain
You can find the Ebten preorder for PS4 here, and fr PS5 here
As far as I can tell, Ebten also ships worldwide, but again, I'd recommend looking into it yourself as I've never ordered from the site
Stellaworth - Remnan Mini Bromide
You can find the Stellaworth preorders for both consoles here
As far as I know, Stellaworth doesn't ship worldwide, so like many of the other sites you'd require a proxy
Amazon JP - Can Mirror and Setsu Art Board
You can find the Amazon JP preorder for both consoles here
I'm not fully aware if these specific items will be shipped internationally by Amazon JP, so I would recommend looking into it yourself before placing an order.
Rakuten - SQ Microfiber Cloth (?)
You can find the Rakuten preorder for PS4 here, and PS5 here
(Apologies for the lack of image, the design is the same as the game's normal cover art.)
As far as I'm aware Rakuten can ship internationally, but I'm not sure, so please look into it yourself before placing an order.
I'm also aware that there was a preorder bonus of a replica Silver Key which was exclusive to the Playism store, but I can't seem to find a working link at the moment.
It also seems as if preorders come with some alternate cover designs and a dogtag.

Something I love about Gnosia is that not only is Setsu canonically ace, but the game EXPLICITLY says that Setsu doesnât like âsex and stuffâ. Thatâs so great!!!! I love that they specified that.
#thank you petit depotto!!!!!#Gnosia#mine#was thinking about this because of some tags that a friend left on a post I reblogged#he was vaguing about Setsu lmao

Hereâs some random artwork drawn by Kotori, the character designer behind Gnosia. These were made when the members of Gnosiaâs development team, Petit Depotto, were a doujin group named Globule in the 2000s.

Gnosia (Nintendo Switch)
Developed/Published by: Petit Depotto / Playism Released: 4/3/2021 Completed: 29/05/2021 Completion: Finished it (and the sneaky epilogue) Trophies / Achievements: n/a
Gnosia is something that when you hear about it you either assume itâs âjustâ a visual novel (no shade on visual novels) or that itâs not going to work at all: a single player version of werewolf (also known by some as Mafiaâbut Iâve never played it as such. And also known as Among Us, I guess???)
I was no different, but Gnosia very quickly distinguishes itself and I was blown away by it. Itâs extremely clever in its settingâwerewolf is a game that really doesnât have much âgameâ outside of what it is you know about the players that youâre playing with (for example, if you can recognise when a close friend is lying because you know their tells) so Gnosia sets itself in a time loop where roles are not setâanyone can be an enemy, or a friendâbut as you play you get to know the other players better and better and can start to understand how they behave in different situations.
Of course, itâs not perfect. Like all werewolf games, there are certain times youâll just be flailing about in the dark, but the rounds are quick and thereâs an extra layer of âlevellingâ where you can (for example) increase your intuition to get a notification when someone is egregiously lying (though it remains rare enough that itâs never a crutch.)
The biggest issue is that the game doesnât have a ton of variety. Now, youâre always going to be playing werewolf, so thatâs not what Iâm complaining aboutâitâs actually that thereâs not a lot of effort in varying the language or events up per game. If a character is pulling a particular moveâtrying to coerce the other players in some way, letâs sayâtheyâll always say the exact same thing. Itâs a bit disappointing especially as the game does dip into being a narrative experience by cleverly expecting you to perform certain kinds of wins under certain conditions to move the story forward, and if you get stuck in a loop of games that feel like theyâre going nowhere (at one point, I basically had one piece of information I needed and no clear way to get it outside of random luck?) the game does edge into tedious (for what itâs worth, youâll be playing well over one hundred games of werewolf hereâmany rewarding, but some not so much.)
That all said though, Gnosia quickly has you fond of its cast, and each piece of information you unlock makes you like them more (or, uh⊠less, but no less engaged with them) so itâs just nice hanging out with them locked for eternity in a battle to the death. Until you arenât. I felt genuinely sad about leaving these characters, and I think that speaks to the power of the experience.
Will I ever play it again? I donât think I will, but I also donât think Iâve expressed particularly well here what a marvel this is: that you play werewolf, an absolutely human game, against âAIâ that is deeply unsophisticated (thereâs no attempt to win the Turing test here) but enjoy it at points every bit as much as if you were playing against real people. Iâd return to this universe in a sequel, maybe theyâre all forced to play diplomacy against each other (god please no.)
Final Thought: If you love werewolf you should buy and play this. If you love the use of simple tools to create deep game systems of any sort you should buy and play this. Just about the only reason you shouldnât is if youâre allergic to cheesy fan-servicey art (I believe myself to be, but I could live with it here) or you just hate menu-based games. But this will stick with me for a long time as one of the most unique and interesting things Iâve played in forever that truly reminded me that you can do more with games than we usually challenge ourselves to do.
Support Every Game Iâve Finished on ko-fi.

Review | Gnosia (startmenu Preview)
ICYMI, my review of Gnosia went up yesterday and it's more than just anime Among Us.
Chances are that if youâre at all already familiar with Gnosia, then you probably know it as that game thatâs basically Among Us except with an anime aesthetic. And while thatâs not an entirely inaccurate description, it doesnât do the game justice in the slightest. Set aboard a drifting spaceship, you and your fellow crew members learn that somebody onboard has been infected by the titularâŠ

Read the full article
