And I genuinely feel very sorry for the disordered systems that consider themselves to be "mixed origin" because they don't think they went through enough trauma to split the alters that they have. These "mixed origin" systems that are the prime example as to why endos are harmful to the CDs communities and need to stay the fuck out of disordered spaces.
You do not get to determine what your brain considers to be traumatic. Someone who drowned in 1ft of water is just as dead as someone who drowned in 6ft of water.
Systems originate through trauma. I'm sorry for anyone who has ever been convinced otherwise.
If being plural has "nothing to do with dissociative disorders" then stop using terms and entering spaces that are strictly for those with dissociative disorders.
Stop calling yourselves systems, stop calling them alters, stop barging into udd/did/osdd spaces.
It's not that fucking hard.

If you grew up constantly apologizing and then apologizing for apologizing and you were/are afraid (or unable) to express your emotions and feelings because it was seen as “manipulative”, or for any reason, I love you and I hope you’re having a good day

Endogenic systems remind me of those people who like to be all organized, and then say things like "oh, haha, I'm so OCD!"
You're not OCD, you're just glorifying the parts of OCD you recognize and romanticize to fit into your personal aesthetic. You just want to be quirky and turn real mental disorders into a silly little personality trait.
You don't have a CDD, you're just glorifying the parts of OSDDID that you recognize and romanticize to fit into your personal aesthetic. You just want to be quirky and turn real mental disorders into a silly little personality trait.
"Oh, well duh, I don't actually have OCD. I just like to keep things neat and organized, and because people with OCD are super neat and stuff, I just say things like 'I'm so OCD.' It's an innocent comparison!"
"Oh, well duh, I don't actually have a dissociative disorder. I just feel like I have multiple personalities, and because systems also have multiple personalities and stuff, I just say that 'I'm a system' too. It's an innocent comparison!"
By continuing to say you have OCD like this, you're watering down the severity of the actual disorder. Less and less people take real OCD seriously because you, and others like you, are turning it into a "person who likes to be organized" disorder. You're taking a trait that you admire from people with a mental illness, and instead "rebranding" it to fit your idea of a person with OCD. You don't actually know the struggles they face. You are causing serious harm to the entire OCD community by making comments like these.
By continuing to say you're a system like this, you're watering down the severity of actual dissociative disorders. Less and less people take real systems seriously because you, and other endos like you, are turning it into the "having alters" disorder. You're taking a trait that you admire from people with a mental illness, and instead "rebranding" it to fit your idea of a person with CDD. You don't actually know the struggles they face. You are causing serious harm to the entire system community by saying you're a system.
"I already told you, I'm not actually saying I have OCD!
"We already told you, endos aren't claiming to be disordered!"
You're still calling it OCD. You're still saying you have it when you're just a perfectionist. Your experience is not the same.
You're still calling yourselves systems. You're still using system language. You're saying you have alters—that you have hosts, protectors, caretakers, gatekeepers (ISHs in general), introjects, persecutors, etcetera. You're using terms that were initially used to describe parts in disordered systems, when you're not disordered. Your experience is not the same.
I guarantee you that syscourse wouldn't exist if endos stopped calling themselves systems and tried shoving themselves into spaces they have no place in. If they stopped claiming that they were systems that just had a different origin, there wouldn't be so many pissed and hurt antis. I'm not personally even convinced that anything close to non-disordered multiplicity is possible (especially seeing there is no real, scientific proof of their existence whatsoever), but that isn't what this post is about.
I know this is Raven's blog but we share a brain, so I'm allowed to borrow their soapbox for a post or two.

Me: Can I even really call it trauma, though? It wasn't *that* bad, right? Other kids have definitely been through worse.

yeah ok having a CDD is horrible and there’s not much I find funny about it but turning middle-aged suburban white people phrases into references will never not be hilarious to me

The best thing we can do as "traumagenic" systems (quotation marks because I hate origin terms altogether—they shouldn't even exist), is block and ignore endos. We all know that endos are close-minded and unwilling to properly educate themselves, because they already identify as "endogenic—" which simply isn't possible to be. Ten minutes of research on actually reliable sources is all it takes to disprove their validity.
While yes, spewing educational facts at endos might feel relieving, it isn't going to do anything. They're not worth putting in the time and effort for—because if they won't educate themselves with reliable and scientifically proven information, what makes you think they're going to listen to some random stranger on the internet? Interacting with endos first, no matter how you approach it, is not going to actually benefit anyone. They aren't going to learn, and we aren't doing ourselves any favors by "attacking" endogenic spaces in the way some of us still happen to be doing.
"But they're invading actual system spaces!"
Then push them out. Blocking them in the masses, and additionally blocking endo/pro-endo tags from your feed, is the best way to shove them away from actual system spaces. How are pro-endos going to interact with genuine, disordered system spaces if they can't see our content, and we can't see theirs?
"But they're spreading harmful misinformation!"
Yes they are. They're spreading misinformation that's harmful—mainly to impressionable minds. That being said, it still isn't our responsibility to attempt to educate random endos and endo supporters, because again: if they refuse to do any genuine research of their own, why would they listen to some random person on the internet?
Arguing doesn't work. It hasn't worked. And yes, those with impressionable minds can easily pick up the belief that endos are real—but it's quite genuinely their own fault for not putting those ten—even just two minutes of time into actual research for the truth. We cannot force facts onto people who refuse to take them.
With all of this aside, the existence of endogenics is almost entirely a problem exclusively known by other systems. Before you were aware you were a system, did you even know endos were a thing? Or better yet—before even interacting with system spaces, were you aware of endos?
Endos may be spreading misinformation, but it really doesn't branch out much further than the system community.
Block pro-endo accounts, and block pro-endo tags. If you interact with endos first and attempt to prove their beliefs to be incorrect, it's just going to create more malice in the end—and if you block their accounts, they can't interact with you.
Edit [12.12.2024]:
The number of endo and pro-endo comments I have had to delete from this post speaks volumes.
At least my blocked list is longer now.
