I need to show y'all one more thing I made - red trousers for my nephew!

Now. Are they a bit large? Yes. Is this because I got confused about the seam allowance and cut out the wrong size? Also yes. Did I accidentally sew half the seams inside out? Is the inside a bit of a mess in general? Well. Yes. BUT.

They are wearable trousers, they do have a detachable "belt" pouch, which makes for a total pocket count of 7 (seven!), corduroy is very forgiving of crooked seams and I did have this incredibly well-matched printed cotton in my stash for lining and for the pockets

so I am still very very happy with them. I have always found trousers really intimidating, but this was fun! A lot easier than I would have thought, and it would have been easier still if they could have been tried on during the making. I could definitely make a pair of these for myself.

#AND I WILL #i just love corduroy its so soft and comfy yet durable #but also messy #i had to brush out the bobbin compartment constantly #and i definitely need to give my sewing machine a more thorough cleaning #its full of red lint #but this was so fun and i am actually very proud of this #even though it will not be a big success due to the sizing problem #but i have a different back up gift i dont care #crafts #look what i made

Spent a ridiculous amount of time last night obsessively editing my hand written zines in Photoshop to take away any tiny blemishes so they were definitely readable.

Sentient Mystery Shack, who is really biased towards Stan, so when Ford tells Stan he has to give it back after the summer it’s on sight.

Ford keeps tripping over nothing, nothing is where it's supposed to be and somehow he keeps running into closets when he tries to go outside.

But the worst part, the WORST part is that Ford's lightbulb just won't. Work. No matter what he does it keeps flickering and exploding.

Ford is spiraling.

There is no reason why it shoudln’t work. All his trial runs work perfectly. He’s already checked the Shacks wiring three times and relearned this dimensions science from the ground up.

Nothing works.

The Rift? Bill? The impending apocalypse? Eating? Sleep? Who cares about that.

WHY. WONT. THE. LIGHTBULB. WORK???

It doesn’t help that Stan keeps laughing at him.

“Then you do it!” Ford eventually snaps at Stan.

Stan shrugs and with a little song under his breath screws his own lightbulb in. It works perfectly.

Stanford screams.
