i am interested to see how they're going to adapt the pivot from 'marius bought armand when he was 15 and kept him as a sex slave' to 'lestat idolises marius and spents months tracking him down' in the show without, like, making lestat into a completely irredeemable asshole

My theory as to why devils minion surpassed loustat, at least in the amc show fandom, is because us gays always want smth we can’t have. Loustat is already canon so who do the fans turn to? That one pairing that so far is not canon. What happens when devils minion becomes canon? Who knows the most popular ship will be smth wil like rashid x Marius or smth.

I partly think that’s why book!loustat stayed the most popular,, coz the slow burn was crazy.

Am I the only one who noticed that AMC didn't add Assad Zaman to their "please consider our cast for the Golden Globes" posts on Instagram? And feels a Certain Type of Way about it?

Don't get me wrong, the other IWTV actors 1000% deserve recognition for their work. But if AMC is going to publicly recommend their actors for consideration for awards, why do it for some and not all? Assad's acting is phenomenal; literally I can watch his performances over and over again and still notice some new little nuance he's added to his performance that makes it amazing. The man deserves an award.
