Armand is canonically perfect at the mind gift. Even Khayman is super impressed by his mastery of the mind gift. In a way that even vampires more ancient than himself are not, he is perfect at blocking his thoughts and reading others’ thoughts. Show!Armand is also repeatedly shown to be extremely powerful but specifically really, really good at the mind gift. Real Rashid was a psychic detective with Talamasca training, you can maybe make an argument that he’d be able to block his thoughts (but from Armand??) or maybe he counted on Armand not really looking/ being lazy, but how was Daniel able to keep secrets from him if Armand’s whole reason for being present in the interview is to make sure Daniel isn’t up to any funny business. I know other people have already said this but I legitimately think about it several times a day.

Armand, and you always fall for it (fortunately), you punish your beloved when he pisses you off on purpose, knowing that you will definitely react and come back to punish your bad boy, and no one likes to be punished as much as Daniel Molloy 🤭

Btw, I have a theory that if Armand really did run away after the turning, Daniel purposely started doing interviews to get attention, knowing that he should actually be sitting quietly as other vampires are coming for him and Louis, because of the book.

Just like he got into trouble and dangerous situations to get his attention in the 70s-80s so he could rescue him and take him home… 🤔

I need to see the “your wife counting down your thrusts” scene in s3. Daniel has a flashback of him and Alice fucking and he thinks that she’s the one who’s looking at him bored and probably counting in her head but then it switches to Armand just sitting there bored out of mind while he counts Daniel’s thrusts out loud: “1,2,3… come on boy is that the best you can do? Fuck me harder, faster.” And Daniel is shaking, sweating, crying out of pure humiliation. He wants to satisfy Armand but Armand is cold towards him, making fun of him and continues to count Daniel’s thrusts until they finish finding enjoyment in Daniel’s suffering.

At a point Armand considers to flip Daniel and ride him so they can finish faster but he wants to see how long Daniel can last.
