Look at him! The closet is glass, and even if that's true, he could've objectified any woman who's unrelated to him, but no, it has to be Stella, his sister, for some reason!

Andre and Stella relationship and why I’m deeply concerned

I know few people already adressed that, but this one really ircs me. Andrealphus and Stellas relationship is not at all sibling/family like and changes almost every frame from bussiness partners to a lawyer and client with very predatory Andre’s behaviour.

1. Bussiness partners/lawyer-client relationship

(Thank God for giving subtitles this time)

This one is much less concerning and could be coined as Andre caring for his sister so I’ll just briefly mention only most eye-catching things. 

Stella is presented as an idiot who doesn’t know how her own world works and Adrealphus is this “brain of operation” who seem to also wanting something from divorce (always says that “we will gain this�� “we will do that” and have overall vibe of expecting something for himself). Still- the relationship presented looks a lot like dump wife wanting a divorce and finding wheeler-dealer lawyer who is done with this affair after five minutes in. Or shows two just-met people who want similar things from rich man (Stolas) and plot to get it from him.

This doesn’t say or hint it’s family at all except one or two dialogs where Andre calls Stella sister and when they start a conversation in the castle. If I didn’t knew they were siblings from Vivz Twitter I’ll never guess they are related.

2. Predatory behaviour 

We have nice things from the way, now to the real problem which is veeerrryyy questionable manners towards Stella.

For people not knowing what words vixen and minx mean:

Yeah; hope writters had in mind fierce and bold as meanings. Still doesn’t explain however why Andre gives attractiveness of Stella as something she makes up for being stupid (just ew man).

Also his body language is very flirtatious and reminds me of all the patients who think that just because I’m a girl working in hospital they can touch me how much they want and say how pretty future nurse I am (I’m on paramedic/medical rescue studies and have nothing to do with nursery). He litterally has the same gestures as those +40 freaks with libido problems whenever they see a woman with stetoscope or ECG!

Wanna write more, wanna show how inappropriate Andrealphus-Stella relationship is, but I think that these few words say more than whole essay.

If someone wants to add something or argue that I see this wrongly go on, I’m open for discussions <3

Stella and Andy are so obnoxiously cartoonishly evil that they make the Wet Bandits look like Hans Gruber by comparison. Seriously, is being evil their only character trait? Even the Disney Villains have more character depth and subtlety in their villainy.

I don't understand this ice twink as a villain.

I mean, he clearly doesn't like Stolas and prays for his downfall, and now that he has his wish, he's one of the more powerful goetias and is even a prince (I think that's how it works, idk). He has Stolas's rank and his powers just like he so desired.

What I want to know are his motivations for wanting those things? WHY does he want Stolas's rank and powers?? Just to have it??? What is he gonna do with it now that he has it?? Is he jealous of him or something? He's jealous of the rank and power he has and wants it for himself? Why does he even hate Stolas?

And what's crazy is that he's already of nobility! He's a member of the Goetia family! He, along with Stella, is RICH AS HELL. He has a WHOLE mansion and he has powers. Sure he doesn't have the same rank as Stolas, but he's still rich and of nobility. He pretty much just fighting for something he already has and its a waste of time.

I just can't seem to grasp on why he's even a villain.

Why does Stolas have a lot of haters?

He sadly has had has alot of haters for a long time. Some people says he would have been better of as a villan. Others think that he is a cohesive rapist. Or they find him to be a abusive and neglectful father and absent husband. And all because he is rich, male and a prince. He doesn't have the right to be depressed or abused when he has money that other characters don't have. You can't be missrable unless you live in poverty. The only thing that stopped him from ending it all, was his daughter, his little starfire. Has he made misstakes, yes. But it always comes from a place of geniune care. He spent years being abused and stomped in into the ground, with absolutley no support system. (Like both Stolas and for example Blitzø have lived hard lives in different ways. But at least at this point in time, Blitzø has had a support system that Stolas lacked. Of course Blitzø had to work HARD to get that system back after the fire, but at least he has one.) And sadly what I think happend between Stolas and Octavia is that they developed a almost co-depandent realationship on eachother. They only had eachother to rely on for emotinal support for so many years, that when attention Stolas all of the sudden shifts away from Octavia, it becomes a HUGE change in her life, and there is no wonder that she feels like Blitzø stole Stolas away and that Stolas choose him over her. You can see both sides of this situation and it's so sad and frustrating that Stella and Andrealphus keeps manipulating her and making everying worse.

And I wanted to add that I think the real start of his hate was in Loo-Loo Land. When he, who has not know real romantic love for over 17 years, invitied his childhood crush becaus he was so giddy to have him in his life again, to his father-daughter outing (People act like he only cared about Blitzø in that outing, when he only said like three sentences to him, and almost all his foucus was on Octavia. Of course that doesn't change how Octavia feels about it. Plus she doesn't get a chance to say that she didn't even want to be at Loo-Loo Land because Blitzø cuts her of before she could tell Stolas, fueling her annoyance at him and her father.) Yes, it was a bit selfish of him to do that to Octavia. But, before this, how many times do people think he had chance to be selfish? He has never had a choice in his life. And the second he uses his courage to go face his fears, he is a selfish and neglectful father...

I also don't like when people compare Stolas to Lucifer. They are both flawed fathers and honestly I think that Stolas is a bit of better dad at this point. I mean, Lucifer was SO absent in his daughters life that he didn't even know that she had a girlfriend. And people call Stolas neglectful? I am sorry, but that is just not fair at all. Why forgive Lucifer, but not Stolas?

Sorry for this answer being a little bit all over the place. I wanted to cover as much as possible. I may even add more later on, who knows 🤷‍♀️

How I personally hope the show (Helluva Boss) will go but knows it won’t.

Blitzo realizes how pointless it is to chase after Stolas and ends up giving up.

Octavia and Stella have a bonding moment showing Stella isn’t the complete dick everyone thought she was bc my girl needs more character.

Stolas gets left alone and is given some time to think about how his actions as a prince affects other people.

Verosika and Blitzo become friends again (pls pls pls)

Blitzo, instead of focusing on a relationship that ultimately is terrible, focuses on building his bonds with M & M and Loona along with building his company. (Also he cuts ties with Stolas)

Asmodeus and Fizz are silly and sometimes pop in to say hi to Blitzo.

Andrealphus and Vassago are cool and scold Stolas bc he was bad also Stella gives up trying to kill Stolas now that he’s being scolded and finds a wife that actually loves her bc omg I feel so bad for her.

I remember when "Western Energy" came out, there was a theory that Andre SA Stella, I didn't believe it at the time because I didn't think Viv would be dumb enough to put incest in her show

But after watching "Mastermind," I wouldn't be surprised, but I doubt Viv would take Stella's trauma seriously because she isn't the "perfect victim"

You can’t post or make the most beautiful fan art of her without someone commenting “Ewww gross!” Like I’m sure the artist didn’t spend five hours making this just for you to act like a child lol. Or “you can’t like her she’s a bad person!!” or god forbid you post your ship without someone else acting like it’s the end of the world LOL.

Or if you show a shred or empathy or nuance in the situation (like how she was forced into the marriage as well, forced to get pregnant and give birth at a young age, which is horrific for women btw) like none of that is mutually exclusive from her being a bad person. You don’t need to be like “well she hurt Stolas” yes bro okay Stolas is very over represented in terms of people defending him, we all know he was hurt.

STOP ATTACKING ME! - A short Helluva Boss OC Drabble

Yeah I’m not gonna lie.. I don’t really like Stolas, I’m sorry. His whiny attitude about how Blitzo doesn’t love him is honestly really annoying. So here’s my frustrations being put into a small story!

(Also this basically serves as an origin story to Raya’s rivalry with Stolas.)

The Goetia palace was lavishing as ever this evening; the crystal chandeliers sparkled in the evening light, the constellations painted on the ceiling seemed to glow, and the polished marble floor reflected the silhouettes of the avian royalty of Hell.

While Stella flounced about on the ballroom floor and squawked to her peacock acquaintances about her stupid husband, the owl prince Stolas stood 10 feet away from her, meekly sipping on some rich wine. “Witch.” He hissed under his breath. He was dressed in his bathrobes, as he couldn’t bother to get into his more formal attire. It’s not like anyone would care, anyways. Pity, pity, pity…

Andrealphus gave his brother-in-law a snide glare as he strode over to his cackling sister, who was loudly singing about what foolish things her husband had said this week. She did like to torment him, so this was nothing new to the owl prince.

Stolas huffed and ruffled his feathers, a look of sadness creeping up on his beak. If only his “star-crossed” lower-class lover Blitzo could whisk him away from the “Still Not Divorced” party, leaving his teenage daughter Octavia to sit awkwardly with her mother…

His train of thought was interrupted when he heard someone yelling mildly as they struggled to climb over the balcony rail. Stolas’s ruby eyes lit up, and he dashed over to the balcony he was standing next to, grabbing the arm to pull his lover up to the pala-

It was a human.

“Oh.” Stolas sighed. Regardless, he helped her up and into the palace, as he didn’t wish to be rude. “My apologies. I thought you were someone else.” He briskly turned to an imp waiter, trying to offer the woman something to drink or nibble on. She refused politely, though by the look on her face, she wanted to discuss something with the prince.

“It’s alright. I actually wanted to ask you about something regarding your.. affair.” The words “affair” seemed to haunt Stolas. Affair was far from what could be described about his loving, totally sincere relationship with Blitzo. “…Right then. Please, pray tell, what do you wish to query me?” Stolas adjusted his bathrobe to appear decent.

“Why do you still chase after that imp?” She shot him a subtle yet icy cold glare. Stolas felt his heart quake. “…What- What is your name..?” He asked the human. She gasped lightly and adjusted her corn-colored hair. “Raya. Why do you wish to know?” She tilted her head up at the prince. “I- …With all due respect, miss Raya… I genuinely feel a strong, warm connection to that little imp.” Stolas stared off into space as a sick warmth spread to his beak.

Raya clenched her teeth, clearly annoyed he was trying to change the subject. As he started to ramble on and on, she felt slightly agitated and wanted to square the conversation back. “No- no, you’re not listening to me, your highness.” She spoke out, causing the owl to hoot slightly and shut his beak in mild shock.

“…Like I said, you’re chasing after someone who isn’t interested in you. You deliberately harass the poor man, exploiting him for your pleasure and to keep his business afloat, and even prioritizing him over your daughter not once, but twice. You flaunted your first affair to your wife. And I get that she’s awful, but it doesn’t give you an excuse to do so. You spend all your time wailing and waiting for your imp prince to rescue you from the wicked witch, but you’re just living a fantasy. A sick fantasy in which you leave your daughter alone as feared. And no amount of coddling could change that, which is why you need to take the first step and accept that Blitz. Doesn’t. Love you.” Raya went on a long-winded rant, essentially calling out the Goetia prince for his attitude and actions.

Stolas was horrified, his legs were shaking like a great earthquake, his heart heavily beating as sweat trickled down his beak. It was true, but he didn’t want to accept it. He hated confrontation, he hated owning up to his mistakes and recognizing his flaws. And then, right before she could deliver the verdict…

“STOP! STOP IT, PLEASE, I BEG OF YOU! PLEASE, STOP IT!” Like a child, the owl prince screeched and stumbled back, crocodile tears streaming down his face as he made a scene. “No- wait- I- I didn’t mean to. Your royal highness, I apologize. Please, just breathe and think rationally for a second…!” Raya lightly raised her hand to soothe the prince.

“WITCH! SHE’S RAISING HER HAND AGAINST ME! SOMEONE, PLEASE TAKE HER AWAY!” Stolas cried out, dark blue feathers slightly falling from his body.

The orchestra paused as the royal avians turned to the scene. Andrealphus raised an eyebrow, mildly confused at the behavior of his brother-in-law. Stella, however, had a wicked, almost proud grin on her face. Two hellhounds grabbed Raya by the forearms while she was distracted from attempting to ease the prince.

“Ma’am, it’s nothing personal. We’d like for you to leave the premises at once.” One of them barked at her. “No, wait-! I’m not done! Octavia! Princess! Please just know that my door’s open if you wish to have a safe space!!” Raya called to the Goetia princess as she was dragged out of the ballroom. Octavia, while mildly confused, as put at ease as she went to go comfort her tantrum-throwing father.

Raya was tossed outside of the Goetia palace, and she hit the pavement upon impact. “Respectfully, you are disallowed from entering this palace again.” The other hellhound affirmed her as they shut the doors. “Damn it all…” Raya sighed and picked herself up. She shivered slightly, mildly irritated that her confrontational approach didn’t work out in the end.

Just before she was about to leave, the door opened and closed quickly. Raya turned around, finding a prideful Stella exiting the palace. “Well done. Really, darling, well done!” She slowly applauded the human. “What?” Raya mouthed to no one in particular.

“You really took the words out of my mouth. Although I’m still mildly disgusted that the imp-sucking excuse of my husband is being coddled right now back upstairs… you really said some things I wanted to hear for a long time.” Stella smiled lightly, offering a hand for the human to shake. Raya stared down at her hand, then pulled her lavender cardigan sleeve a bit over her palm before accepting the handshake.

“I’m… honored, I guess.” She awkwardly brushed a piece of hair out of her eyes. “Well, I must head back to the Still Not Divorced soirée. Just keep in mind though… I admire your bravery.” Stella curtsied lightly before taking her leave and re-entering the palace.

Raya stood there, flabbergasted. Although her mission was unsuccessful, she at least felt satisfied voicing her thoughts on the prince.

Ed did a fantastic job as Striker this episode. Figured it wasn't Norman when he spoke cause his voice sounded so distinctly deeper. But he really had me convinced he was this dangerous cowboy assassin having a time torturing a rich asshole. His delivery was also on point. When Striker yelled at the little imp band, I laughed out loud. That shit was so funny.

Man, I missed Striker.

I seriously need his backstory. The way he was talking made it sound like there was people he deeply cared for but whatever happened to them scarred him enough to have all this festering hatred for the higher borns of Hell. There's so much to unpack and so much potential that it'd be a crime not to delve deeper. I need Striker backstory. I need it!

Stolas's line about Striker sucking his own dick was also golden. Laughed hard at that. Honestly, the humor in this episode was super solid.

And of course, super glad to finally see Andrealphus! Loved him the moment he spoke as I knew I would! Him saying he was trying to bullshit and Stella was ruining it was hilarious.

I also love the acknowledgement that Stella is as dumb as a brick, lmao. And Andrealphus is the one with all the wits between the siblings. Also interesting to see he dotes on Stella like many speculated. Like he's the classic evil sibling that spoils the other one instead of walking all over them- outside of stressing her stupidity, of course. I know he's going to be trouble later one way or another and I can't wait.

Whether these two become a power duo or he backstabs Stella or both- I'm here for it!

The way I am talking- you know I've already formed a youngest brother OC that shares the trait of being incredibly intelligent and poised (but does a better job than both) that Andrealphus dotes on and spoils even more than Stella, because he can actually connect with the little darling at full mental capacity instead of straining his brain every second- in my head. Cause I have no self control.

I'm getting Andrealphus praising him at every turn, spoiling him with gifts, and him being an asshole by reminding Stella where she sits intellectually in comparison by a large margin with the baby brother in question never not being in sync with his brother's thoughts while tag teaming the pity on their sister, you feel?

As you can see, these past two episodes have had such a welcoming presence with all the lack of you-know-what.

Wish we had more in depth confrontation with Millie and Moxxie vs Striker, though.
