Spoonie Witchcraft- Full moon
So I have been thinking about low energy magic. As someone who is disabled I haven't had the energy to do withcraft the way I used to. I have not been doing much at all for the last year. There has been no moon water made, no ritutual magic, and I haven't even been able to smoke cleanse my home.
I have been stressed financially, as well as in extreme pain this past year. I decided to see what other spoonies had to say about what to do on a full moon. I want to do something, but I am not sure what I can or am able to do. I went to my witchy discord servers and Facebook groups and asked around. I also thought of a couple of ideas on my own as well.
Here are some ideas to use for the spoonie witch.
Sit outside under the full moon. This would be called moon bathing but sometimes theres a full ritual around it. However, just sitting out under the full moon and basking in its light is good enough. This is also only if weather permiting. Don't go out into a hurricane or other severe weather. You may just end up being blown away instead.
Prayer. Praying to the God's you believe in or work with in silence. Praying to your ancestors and giving them thanks for thier guidence and wisdom. Obviously this is more for pagan witches and not for the atheists.
Sigils. You can do sigils everywhere. You can draw a sigil on your palm and visualize its purpose. For example, drawing an abundance sigil and visualize money coming to you. It's a good simple spell. Can also draw sigils in your food with a knife or other utensil depending on what you are eating. Peanut butter jelly time!
Birthday candles. Using birthday candles in candle magic instead of regular candles can be a quick spell and still work just as effectively. Making wishes on cake is magic. Maybe make a wish on a chocolate swiss roll.
Tea and coffee. You speak intentions into your drinks. Maybe have a full moon tea blend and do this when the sun goes down. You can buy different blends of tea on etsy or at a farmers market.
Watching youtube videos. Watch videos about magic and the full moon. There might even be a live meditation on there you can join in on.
Tarot readings. A low spoonie tarot reading. A basic 3 card spread that is for fun and not the deep soul searching/healing that you may normally do. Another tarot idea is just to pull one card to just see what the message would be.
Gemstones on nightstand. Put stones on your nightstand that have the intentions you'd like to draw to you. For example, amethyst for protection against nightmares. Maybe green adventurine for bringing in luck and abundance to your life. Use black obsidian for protection against gossip. Well, by now, you get the idea.
Cleansing. There are multiple methods of cleansing. If you have enough energy, a small ritual shower could be what is needed to get more energy. Or, at the very least, feel more refreshed. If you can't stand for a shower, soaking in a tub with salt water will work. You may use a shower chair for the shower if you have one. I use a bar of soap that is hand-made by other witches. They tend to put essential oils and intentions, so there is a cleansing effect. If you are too low energy for that, going back to youttube idea; they have cleansing meditation music. You can sound cleanse with the music. You may also play witchy ambient music. There are a vast number of options for sound cleansing.
Journaling. Journaling is something that can be done lying down. You can find some journal prompts on Tumblr, or you can find them on pintinterest. You can do shadow work journaling as a form of releasing. It's fun to select a new journal or even get a fancy pen.
Dressing up. If you have a witchy shirt, dress, or robes. It is fun to dress up on the full moon in honor of the moon. Like going to a magical witchy party. I have 2 witchy dresses, a witchy sweater, and a long sleeve stars and moons blouse. I also have a regular black dress for if I want to be more subtle.
Self care. It is okay to just watch a movie or binge watch a favorite TV show. You could also read a book for fun. If you are very into astrology, depending on the astrological sign of the moon phase, self care would be more important. Tomorrow, the full moon is in Pisces, and there is a lunar eclipse. Self care may be the best option during this full moon in September.

🍨If you feel uninspired, unmotivated,dull,tired and like every single day of your life is boring then you are in need of a rebrand. IT IS NOW TIME TO REINVENT YOUR ENITRE LIFE AND SELF. This doesn't mean you need to let go of yourself completely and be someone you are not, it is about loving yourself enough to say " My current situation is not working for me , I deserve better whether that be my environment , appearance, Confidence etc.
💗PLANNING
Understand who you are,who you want to be and where you want to get. Do a SWOT analysis of your life. What are your weakness ? What is threatening you ? What is getting in your way to achieving your dreams ?

Shadow work is easy, all you need to do is search shadow work journal prompt on Google or Pinterest. This will help you unpack your trauma that you might not be aware of , move on fully from your past and enter into your new era without bringing the past baggage because we don't need it. Create your alter ego and step into that energy permanently.Write a script describing your future self down to every single detail , write it in present tense to speed up your manifestation. After doing shadow work , reinvention script, SWOTS Analysis and understanding yourself, you need to find solutions. Let's say your weakness is that you can't wake up early but in your reinvention script, you wrote that your ideal version is a morning person. Bring few simple techniques, for example , develop a slow morning routine. Take each habit week by week. The first week , just focus on waking up early, the second week , wake up earlier and go to the gym and the third week , wake up earlier, go to the gym and eat healthy. You are building up slowly.
To be disciplined and create solutions to get from your A to B , delete all the take-out or dating apps, block every single one of your exes, change your phone number if you have to or donate your old clothes. Taking such measures shows you that there is no going back. You are entering a new era in your life.
🍨 APPEARANCE
Follow the 80-20 rule which is 80% of the time you need to follow a healthy diet, and the other 20% of the time you can treat yourself because you deserve it.
Start drinking matcha over coffee. Coffee has negative effects on our gut health, brain health and life in general.
Benefits of Matcha.
Boosts brain function
Helps you lose weight
Eliminates toxins
Creates a calm and focused mind
Helps prevent cancer
Trust in your health and treat your body like a temple. Don't fall into prey for not taking of your health because it's " cool " .
Take your supplements, it will change your life.
If you are not wearing it in 5 years, don't buy it . Quit trend buying. Go for what you like and what suits you.
Going on tiktok or youtube, watch make-up tutorials. It's not about buying expensive products but knowing about how to place them to enhance your features. Learning make-up that suits your face. Personally, I would recommend Dear Peachie since she has the best make-up tips.
Buying one of everything and stick to it. What works , works .
Work on your posture.
Explore non-toxic products and clean beauty.
💗MINDSET TIPS
Undoing the negative. Block your exes . It doesn't matter how good the relationship . Delete their pics. They are not part of your life anymore.
Get rid of limiting beliefs. Develop abundance mindset.
Change up your environment.
Incorporating the postive
Stay self-aware. Instead of focusing on what other person did , you need to ask yourself what you did wrong. It is not about saying that it is all your fault. You need to know if you self-sabotaging yourself or not.
Embody the habits and lifestyle you want to have.
Engage with your past and future self. You are looking at your current version from outside perspective.
Develop the IDAF mindset. You are holding yourself back when you care about what other's think about you.
Please don't be upset about not getting attention from the wrong people. If they fun of you or judged you , the fact they did that shows how lame they are.
Stop explaining yourself to everyone and stop telling others about your goals. They will not get it. If you believe in yourself, you will end up getting where you want to be and everyone around you is not going to be judging they are gonna be clapping.
Follow people who inspire or educate you. It will help you gain something from being on social media instead of scrolling through pointless memes.
You get to decide your emotions. If someone said something hurtful , realise they are not the right person, distance yourself or don't react. Use your pain as motivation.
🍨NEW HABITS
Exposure therapy. Get used to being cringy and embarassing. Being cringe is to be free. Face your fears.
Become the life of the party. Put your attention to how you are going to make other people feel.
Stop being everywhere for everyone. BOUNDARIES!!!!!!!!!!! HOW CAN YOU LEVEL UP IF YOU DON'T PUT YOURSELF FIRST ?
You are not missing out on anything. Be picky , only go to events if they align with you. Not everyone needs to know about your buisness.
Identify the nonsense in your day and remove it. Be a little self-aware.
Fake it till you make it. Be comfortable with sitting with discomfort.
Hot girls are always grateful. Gratitude is the greatest vibrational frequency you can operate at.
💗HOME-WORK
Do some SWOT analysis , Google shadow work prompts to fully evaluate your weaknesses.
Draw out your ideal self. What do you wanna become ? What does she dress like? What her mornings look like? Who are her friends?
Evaluate your current situation and drawn out the map of your future situation so you can get from A to B much faster.
Create your mood board and set it as phone wallpaper
Invest in one thing that can level up your appearance.

Building A Productive Routine And Being Consistent

It is officially 2024! This is my first self-improvement post of the year<3 I want to discuss routines and creating a productive routine. Routines are super important they help you build structure in your life, boost your self-confidence, and can help you achieve all of your goals for this year!
What are your goals? 
♡ If you have not already written out your goals for the year I'm going to need you to do that whenever you have the time. Be realistic don't complicate or stress yourself out.
♡ Look at the habits that you have currently that are stopping you from achieving your goals. Be honest with yourself. For example, your goal is to read more self-help books this year but you have a habit of watching too much TV or scrolling on TikTok for hours on end.
♡ After writing down your goals and identifying your bad habits, it's time to select new habits that align with your goals. 
♡ You need a nonnegotiable habit this year. For instance, if your objective is to lose weight, you may consider meal prepping or pilates workouts three times a week as a non-negotiable. 
Time to build your routine 
♡ A planner that I use is the Structured App. This app has so many amazing features that you can use to plan your week. You can also use Google Calendar or buy digital/physical planners online.
♡ It can be helpful to take a realistic approach when trying to incorporate new habits into your daily routine. Take a look at your current schedule, including your sleep and work or school schedule, and try to fit in your new habits accordingly. This can ensure that you can realistically commit to your new habits without overwhelming your existing schedule.
♡ It's a good idea to practice a new schedule by taking a day out of the week to try it out. If you decide to wake up at 5 am instead of 7 am, test it out and see if it works for you. You might find that you get more done waking up earlier. However, if it doesn't work, don't worry. You can swap out and change your routine as much as you need until you find what works best for you.
♡ If you realize that you have too many habits and no space to fit them into your schedule, you might need to prioritize and focus on the most important ones.
You should make time for... 
♡ Sleep! I can not stress this enough you need to get a good amount of sleep daily. Sleep has so many benefits. You can read this article on sleep for more details
♡ Self-care. Incorporating self-care into your daily routine is very important. This can include taking care of your skin, grooming yourself, shaving, and other similar activities. Self-care is a nurturing act that you can do for yourself, so it's essential to prioritize taking care of yourself.
♡ Getting sunlight. Andrew Huberman is so popular right now and he recommends in the morning getting 10-15 minutes of sunlight. He says not only does this boost your mood but it will help you sleep better at night. For anyone who also deals with seasonal affective disorder, this is a tip I 100% recommend. 
♡ Moving your body. Find what works for you. Just because you see your favorite YouTuber doing a HIIT workout as soon as she wakes up doesn't mean you will like it. Find different forms of exercise and do what you enjoy you might prefer yoga over running on the treadmill or walking over pilates.
♡ Journaling. I love to journal a new form of journaling I have been doing in the morning is gratitude journaling. Starting your day by writing about the things you are grateful for in your life will boost your mood. I talked about journaling in Shifting Your Mindset From Scarcity To Abundance This is a website I use for journal prompts and this is a gratitude journal you can purchase on Amazon. 
What are you consuming daily?
You must know what content you are consuming daily. As humans we adapt the mindset and behaviors of those around us and the same is possible for the content you watch. I prefer to listen to podcasts, and I follow and watch YouTubers that relate to the woman I want to become.
How to stay consistent? 
♡ Remember you are doing this for yourself. Like I said above create routines based on your life, schedule, and goals do not try and force yourself to be like someone else.
♡ Be realistic. Do not overwork yourself and put so much on your plate to the point you become overwhelmed.
♡ Be intentional. For example, when you have a 3-hour work block coming up soon, avoid watching Netflix or any other distracting activity, you might end up putting off your work block to finish what you are watching.
♡ Don't try to be perfect. When you try a new habit for the first time you probably won't be good at it but keep going results take time.
♡ Do not compare your routine to the next girl's routine everybody is different and what might work for her might not work for you.
♡ When you have negative thoughts, counter them with a positive one. For example, instead of thinking 'Ugh, I'm tired and I have to work out', you can counter that thought with 'Working out is good and will get me closer to my dream body'.
♡ Give grace. You won't be perfect because you're human, so it's important to understand that some days won't be the same. Sometimes, you'll have to change your routine, but through it all, give yourself grace.

Sam/Bucky + “subterfuge” for one word prompts!
@sambambucky said she was just gonna have to imagine Bucky hanging out with the baby in the Mr. and Mr. Smith AU and I was like, what if we imagined that collectively, as instructed by some prose. like a guided meditation or whatever. definitely not a continuation of the au. that would be silly.
When Bucky heads up to bed, it's less because he's tired and more because he wants to avoid a conversation with Sam. He tries to sleep, but it's fitful at best. Forty-eight hours ago, hopped up on super soldier grade painkillers and the determination to put it all on the line for Sam, Bucky had been certain that tonight was going to end differently. Even if it turned out that Sam hadn't felt the same way, or if years of subterfuge had been enough to turn him away, Bucky would at least have an answer.
Instead, Sam is across the hall like always, and Bucky is further from a clear answer than he's ever been before.
It doesn't help, either, that sleeping in a strange place means that Jack has woken up a couple of times now. Bucky was already on his feet the first time it happened, ready to help, but before he'd made it there, Sam had nudged the door of his bedroom shut. It's stayed that way all night, in spite of Bucky being able to hear Jack wake up a few times since then.
Around four in the morning, Bucky decides to call it. Lying in bed is just making him more antsy, and he'd been desperately curious to check out the property last night, but putting space between Sam and himself had felt like the higher priority at the time. He makes his rounds now, finding all the exits and stashing weapons within easy reach in every room. Sometimes he has to find new hiding places, because Sam has already tucked a gun or throwing knife into the spot that Bucky picked, which makes his heart twinge in a weird way.
He's about to step outside to check the perimeter alarms when he picks up a soft noise from upstairs, distinct from the sound of Sam's steady breathing. When he pads up the stairs and gently nudges open Sam's door, he finds Jack sitting up in the crib, glancing around the barely-lit bedroom with wide eyes. When he turns to Bucky, his eyes are bright and curious.
Bucky is certain he'll start crying and wake Sam, but instead, after a moment of looking steadily up at him, Jack raises his arms to be picked up, cooing as he does. With a wary glance to make sure Sam is still asleep, Bucky lifts Jack out of the crib and slips out of the bedroom as quietly as he can, leaving the door just slightly ajar so Sam won't panic when he wakes up.
For a baby surrounded by completely new people, Jack seems oddly at ease. Sam at least has years of experience as an uncle under his belt. The last time Bucky held a baby was 1929, and yet Jack immediately settles comfortably against Bucky's right side after a diaper and onesie change, making quiet, contented noises as they move down the stairs and into the kitchen again.
Though Bucky combed through the files last night, the notes all seemed inconclusive. There were no records of Jack being subjected to experimentation, but at the home where they'd found him, there were extensive journals detailing his behavior and development, with a specific enough eye to detail that it's clear they'd been looking for something. He supposes they'll find out soon enough, and all they can do for now is keep Jack safe.
Bucky goes in search of breakfast food and finds the fridge fully stocked, an abundance of fancy baby food taking up almost a whole shelf. As he reaches in to grab a pouch that looks vaguely breakfast-y, Bucky spots a jar of marmalade, the dark and bitter kind that he loves and that Sam has frequently referred to as 'old man food.' It kicks up the same conflicted feeling he's had in his chest since he got here, affection tempered by hurt. He knows that he doesn't have a leg to stand on, that Sam hiding this from him is no different than what he hid from Sam, but it still stings.
Jack chooses this particular moment to get fussy, so Bucky bounces him a little to soothe him, closing the fridge.
"Sorry, kid," he says. "Did it get a little cold for you there? That's on me; I got distracted when I should've been fixing you something to eat."
Bucky should be used to doing things one-handed by now, but it demands more negotiation with a baby in his arms. As he flicks on the kettle to warm up the baby food--something he only realized he should do after squinting at the too-small writing on the package--he narrates everything he's doing, and the sound of consistent chatter seems to keep Jack happy. He's midway through explaining how to make a good cup of coffee when Nat unlocks the front door, letting in Steve and Yelena before she follows and locks up behind them.
The cameras on the property had let Bucky know she was coming, but it hadn't occurred to him that she might have company. If he'd known Yelena would be here, he certainly wouldn't have been caught dead with a baby on his hip and a dishtowel thrown over his other shoulder, but he's too late to do anything by the time she and Steve walk in, so he resigns himself to being photographed as she cackles delightedly.
"One night in the suburbs and already you are transformed," she laughs. "Amazing."
Steve's smile is more subdued, though no less teasing. "I could've sworn you were your ma for a second there," he says, reaching for the bowl of strawberries on the counter.
In the blink of an eye, Bucky sends a plastic spatula flying across the kitchen, thwacking Steve on the hand just before he can touch any of the fruit. "If I look like my ma, you should have no trouble listening when I say to wash your hands before you eat," says Bucky. "Bathroom's by the stairs."
Yelena and Steve head off in the direction of the stairs, and Natasha sets a bag of bagels on the counter before coming around to say hi to Jack.
"Last night go okay?" she asks, holding out a finger for him to grab.
Bucky shrugs. "He woke up a couple times, but Sam handled it."
Nat narrows her eyes. "I didn't mean for the baby."
"I found out that my husband and I have been lying to each other for the past four years about the nature of our work, and that you and Steve probably knew about it and never said anything," says Bucky. "And then I had to come here and play house with him, because we're on a mission together for the foreseeable future."
Her expression doesn't betray anything. "And?"
"I'm not sure I'd call it okay, is all," snaps Bucky. In his arms, Jack starts fussing again and he sways a little, murmuring an apology to him.
"Did we exclude you from the conversation?" he asks. "Sorry, bud. I'm sure you've got opinions, too, huh? Though maybe you're team Sam, after all the nice stuff he got you."
Jack coos.
"I get it," says Bucky. "If someone got me that many fancy yogurts, I'd probably love them, too."
He gets more cooing in response.
"Let's not let him have too much of an advantage, okay? I didn't know you existed until last night; he had a head start."
As Jack settles back against his shoulder, Bucky catches Natasha looking at him with amusement on her face.
"For the record," she says, moving to pull bagels out of the bag, "Steve didn't know. Sam was recruited before he came out of the ice, and asset development doesn't have much overlap with Captain America stuff. He was as surprised as you were, probably."
Bucky bites back the urge to say, 'I doubt it', and asks her to slice him a poppy bagel instead. Jack has gotten upset every time Bucky has tried to put him down in the high chair, so he suspects he's going to be eating one-handed if he manages to eat at all.
They're on their second pot of coffee and several bagels down by the time Bucky hears Sam stirring upstairs, the change in his breathing clear after so many years under the same roof. At the far end of the dining table, he sees Steve glance upwards, too, serum-enhanced senses undoubtedly catching onto what Bucky's did.
Natasha and Yelena are unfazed, will likely remain that way until there's more than the barely-there creak of bed springs and the quiet shuffle of feet across carpet, but--Bucky is distracted from listening out for Sam as Jack starts wriggling furiously in his arms, pushing off of Bucky's shoulder like he's trying to reach upwards for something.
At first, Bucky thinks maybe he's just uncomfortable, or that he wants something, but when he shifts Jack in his arms to get a better look at his face, he sees Jack's eyes are trained on the spot on the ceiling where Steve's eyes had been a moment ago. As the quiet footsteps upstairs move across the floor, Bucky watches Jack's eyes track them half a second later, just as quickly as Bucky would be able to.
Bucky's heart rate must pick up as he pieces the evidence together, because then Jack is cooing at him, settling against Bucky's chest and nuzzling into his neck. Absently, he pats the baby's back, and turns to Steve, his eyes undoubtedly wide.
"Well," he says, "I think I just figured out what all those journals were about."
