Anyone who talks about how “edgy” they are needs to go take a bath in acid.
It makes it so hard for people to talk about their actual homicidal ideation or low empathy or low guilt or delusions or other stigmatised symptoms of mental illness.
I shouldn't have to clarify that my delusions are actual harmful, prolonged periods of distorted reality or that when I say I want to kill someone I mean that I have dark fantasies where I kill them in graphic detail.
I don't feel empathy. I don't feel guilt. Most of the time, I don't feel anything for other people. It's not quirky. It's not a joke. It's not something you can say you experience only to turn around and criticise the moment I go more in depth.
Stop trying to be cool by imitating mental illnesses. It's pathetic.

Maybe I'm not a narcissist. I'm just looking into it because I want to feel special and pretty and different and be part of an exclusive in-group where we talk about how we're so much better than the haters and we're tragically misunderstood but the real ones love us despite our flaws and oh. Oh, shit.

Note
BPD culture is feeling bad when people say your blaming your behavior on BPD when you're putting in every ounce of your being to change and act differently while explaining how your BPD makes your symptoms appear and why you act that way because of it.

i got an anon ask like forever ago now that said something along the lines of 'hi ive been following you for a while and sometimes youll rb posts that arent overly negative to narcissists and as someone with npd i really appreciate it thank you'. and every time i see any post about npd nowadays i see that ask in my brain and its like.
thats the bar???? thats where the bar is???? the bar is not overly negative? how the fuck did we let the bar get that low!

Bpd Adjacent Flag! A flag that is left vague so anyone who has BPD, is questioning, or simply experiencing traits or symptoms can use it! This was made with people who have trouble pinpointing or recognizing symptoms in mind, and is not to be used by transID supporters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: Two images. The first image is a flag with eight equal horizontal stripes. In descending order, the stripes are lavender purple, pastel lavender purple, white, soft yellow, peach orange, bright pink, purple magenta, and dark magenta. In the center of the flag, there is a black BPD symbol. The second image is a flag identical to the first, but without the symbol. End ID.]
BPD + Autism Adjacent flag! A flag that is left vague so anyone who has BPD and Autism themselves, is questioning having the disorders, or simply experiences traits or symptoms can use it! This was made with people who have trouble pinpointing or recognizing symptoms in mind, and is not to be used by transID supporters.
I made several versions of this flag. The first two are here, and more will be placed under the cut.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: Two images. The first image is a flag with ten equal horizontal stripes. In descending order, the stripes are smoky blue, sky blue, blue green, pastel green, pale yellow, pale orange, peach orange, bright pink, purple magenta, and dark magenta. In the center of the flag is a combined autism and BPD symbol. The second image is a flag identical to the first, but without the symbol. End ID.]
Flags by me, requested by a member of the LGBTQIA wiki server! Colors picked from two BPD flags as well as an autism flag.
More versions below the cut, as well as the transparent symbol:

[ID 1: A flag with eight equal horizontal stripes. In descending order, the stripes are sky blue, blue green, pastel green, pale yellow, pale orange, peach orange, bright pink, and purple magenta. In the center of the flag is a black combined BPD and Autism symbol with added white lines for clarity. End ID.]
[ID 2: A flag that is identical to the first, but the symbol does not have white lines. End ID.]
[ID 3: A flag that is identical to the first, but there is no symbol. End ID.]
[ID 4: A flag that is identical to the first flag for BPD and Autism above the cut, but with white lines added to the symbol for clarity. End ID.]

[ID: Two images. Both images are the combined BPD and Autism symbol. The first has white lines added for clarity while the second has these areas made transparent. End ID.]

Note
STPD culture is thinking you have any or every other PD before realizing you do have STPD because the bland and vague description of symptoms does not represent the actual lived experience of having schizotypal whatsoever.

Idk why it took me this long to learn about chronic shame. "Anxiety" is such a toothless, causeless term. The debilitating shame of being alive, having needs and feelings and Making Mistakes™ now....that brings everything into sharp, piercing focus.
I am incapacitated by the shame of my own existence. It's horrible not to feel entitled to the air I breathe, to have feelings, to be human. The awareness that I have to earn the right to be alive and knowing I will never be able to.

https://talkheart2heart.org/resources/unhelpful-thinking-styles/
(i'm just linking the paid site because i cant find them gathered like that anywhere else… dont have time to search each one individually rn lol. maybe another day)
free stuff:

MISC
Rachel Richards massage channel:
https://www.youtube.com/@rachelrichardsmassage9660/playlists
(she has some great videos for somatic symptoms... some playlists focus on anxiety relief, breathing/relaxation, posture/mobility, sleep, etc.)
-
Dr Daniel Fox channel:
https://www.youtube.com/@DrDanielFox/videos
(cw: ableism/ableist language toward cluster b's is present on this channel, he just has a LOT of videos so i include the link... like if youre looking for something specific to do with pd traits, there's a good chance you can find SOMETHING here. *i have mixed cluster b traits incl. the more demonized ones disclaimer*. but yeah steer clear if that bothers you)
-
Struthless channel:
(mostly adhd/exec dysfunction/motivational advice stuff but i find his videos like actually kinda inspiring/motivating so i'm including it here since not a lot of stuff... feels motivating to me at all ever. but i never regret clicking on his vids! good motivational speaker lol)
-
that's all i can think of rn please lmk if any of the links are broken or like... if you have a question u think i can help w ^-^

Questioning AsPD culture is fitting the DSM criteria but not relating to everybody else with it?? I guess I also don't check the box for no remorse or guilt (I still fit the criteria for that section tho) so maybe that's why?? I'm so confused??? Starting to wonder if I'm over exaggerating on accident or something.
