Not necessarily a culture ask, but something I'm curious about.

Apparently the StPD equivalents to a Favorite Person are Trustable Person or Familiar Person. Could I get anything explaining these, please??

trustable person/familiar person arent clinical terms, so there can be some different meanings based on who you ask, but as far as im aware theyre just words for people that youre very attached to and your symptoms of paranoia/delusions/etc dont really fall onto them often. though, like i said, its not a clinical term, so it has many different interpretations

I had the worst fucking experience ever at my therapist today trying to be vulnerable about my symptoms only to be treated like im a potential criminal so I just feel absolutely awful. I have never felt so pissed off and betrayed. I don't really want to go into detail about it but I hope anyone else who has been through this experience of being demonized for their mental illness is okay.

I'm just really struggling to even process what happened today.

Schizotypal culture is..........not believeing I am schizotypal because I didn't think I had social anxiety. And then I remembered my first ever tumblr post genuinely made my chest hurt for hours because I was so Afraid and my heart was beating far too fast for me laying in bed at 8pm. This is not an isolated incident.

This blog makes me feel less scared of existing. I want to thank you for it.

Schizotypal culture is seeing a post a little too specifically relatable and having to talk yourself out of thinking they're actually you and you don't remember/someone is replicating your thoughts and posting them on fucking Tumblr for some reason.
