Sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas) comes in a variety of colours such as orange, purple, white and yellow. They are also rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre. You can boil, bake, steam or fry them but in our house, we normally boil/steam it whole with skin or peel the skin and prepare it as Sweet Potato Dessert Soup (番薯糖水). Here, we are using Vietnam grown Japanese Purple Skin Sweet Potato with yellow flesh.

TEEN IN A TIM BURTON MOVIE DIET 🦴🌫️
(inspired by @honeysugarfree)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
.˚⊹.🎃₊˚𖦹⋆
You wake up with one thing on your mind: going out for a walk in the woods. But you can’t. You’re a teenager who has school, and your parents would kill you if you skipped school.
It’s too early to eat anything. Pass the time playing with your cat or simply reading by the window as the sun rises.
Tumblr media
School is so boring when all you’re craving is a nice cup of warm soup or hot chocolate prepared by your mum. Whatever, you’ll suffer in silence and snack on whatever fruits you threw into your bag this morning.✧˖°.☾
For lunch, you’ll have leftovers from yesterday. roasted/baked/boiled veggies accompanied by rice or wheat. you don’t eat it all; it’s cold, and not that nice at all… Maybe your parents packed you a sandwich instead? make sure you don’t eat the crusts, though. they’re the worst part.
If you’re lucky, you might’ve even added one of your bakes as dessert (low cal pastry/cookie), or a small yoghurt. if you didn’t, don’t fret. your parent didn’t forget to include a fruit or veggie for health.
Tumblr media
(¬ ´ཀ` )¬
Back home at last — not before you went on a small walk, though. your parents were worried about where you’d gone off too again, and you’re greeted by a warm broth/soup, or some more baked veggies.
you don’t finish your plate unless your walk was very tiring. you’re too eager to finish that book you started!
Once in a while, you might be allowed a piece of cake or some hot chocolate. not everyday, though. that would be bad for your teeth!
End the day with a cup of tea, reading under a warm blanket with a piece of your favourite chocolate or sweet. 🍂☕️🐈‍⬛
Tumblr media
MEAL IDEAS I LOVE:
Chickpeas in tomato sauce with rice
Whole bread sandwich without the crust: tomato, cheese and cucumber (ham if you want, i’m vegetarian c:)
Ratatouille or Shakshuka with wheat/bulgur
Apple sauce cookies (i can share a good recipe if you want)
Pasta/zucchini gratin
Lasagna (spinach or veggies with tomato sauce - or mince, once again, i’m vegetarian)
potatoes (sweet is even better) with broccoli
Mushrooms with bread
Tomato salad (vinegar, herbs, olive oil)
Lentil/corn cakes with cream cheese
Pumpkin pie
Vegetable broth (or chicken) with vegetable dices
Potato soup
Tomato orzo soup
Mashed potatoes with lentils
Lentil soup
Beetroot (it’s so good even on it own)
REMEMBER!
You always prefer ‘halloween’ themed pastries — involving apples, pumpkin, carrots…
Eating isn’t a bother, you’re just a slow eater. don’t hesitate to share your love for sweets, while keeping consummation low.
You get tired of veggies so much! never finish a meal you don’t like.
Your favourite candy is liquorice, and most halloween themed ones like acorn or hard candy
Keep the chocolate low. it’s too heavy and nauseating!
If you must, have a piece of nutella/peanut butter and jelly toast, oats, or milk with fruits in the morning. i promise it’s much better than those ‘healthy’ alternatives (makes you satisfies and low calorie if you only have one)
No crisps — they’re too oily and dirty your books. Pop corn is so much better (and lower in cols) — caramel or pumpkin spice is a staple!
Cinnamon on apples… the best treat!
If you ever eat out with family, eat only a third of the meal and get the rest to pack. it’s so good you want to make it last!!
Bake and cook as much as you can! This will make your parents understand what you like, and not push to make you eat those gross overly fat foods.
Try to stay under 1,000 kcals, but don’t count calories obsessively. keep portions small and always leave a third of your plate.
Have fun!
(i’ll make a moodboard with meals etc, i hope you enjoy!)

Writing Notes: Herbs, Spices & Seasoning
Herbs and spices can add flavor and variety to your food.
Use a little at first, then add more when you are sure you like the flavor.
To substitute dry herbs for fresh, use ¼ teaspoon powder or 1 teaspoon crushed for 1 tablespoon fresh chopped herbs. Some herbs and spices are expensive.
You might want to buy only a few of the less expensive herbs and spices you will use.
Herbs and spices lose flavor and can spoil or get buggy if kept in the cupboard longer than a year.
If you use herbs and spices slowly, buy small containers, or store them in the freezer.
Uses of Herbs, Spices & Seasonings
Allspice - A mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Use in fruit desserts, pumpkin pie, apple cider, cakes, cookies, chicken, beef and fish dishes.
Basil - Tomato and egg dishes, stews, soups and salads
Bay leaves - Tomato dishes, fish and meat dishes
Celery seed - Juices, soups, salads, vegetables, pot roasts, poultry, rolls and biscuits
Chili powder - Chili, bean and rice dishes
Chives - Potato dishes, soups, dips and sauces
Cilantro - Latin American, Indian and Chinese dishes, salsa, stir fries, (Coriander leaves) legume or rice salads, hot cooked rice, grilled chicken or fish, or a dish of ripe tomatoes. Use fresh if possible.
Cinnamon - French toast, fruit and fruit salads, sweet potatoes, pumpkin and squash, puddings and apple desserts, ham or pork chops
Cloves - Whole cloves on ham or pork roast; ground cloves to season pear or apple desserts, beets, beans, tomatoes, squash and sweet potatoes
Coriander seed - Middle Eastern dishes, spice cakes and cookies, soups, roast pork and salad dressing
Cumin - Mexican, Middle Eastern and Indian dishes; beef and lamb, dry bean dishes, marinades, chili and tomato sauces; ingredient in curry powder
Dillweed - Tuna or salmon salad, potato salad, pickles, dips and sauces
Garlic - Mexican, Italian and Oriental dishes and in salad dressings; can be used fresh or dried, minced or powder
Ginger (fresh) - Oriental dishes, marinades for chicken or fish, fruit salad, dressings
Ginger (ground) - Gingerbread, spice cake, pumpkin pie, poultry or meat, soups, stews, stuffing, squash, sweet potatoes
Ground peppers: black, Cayenne & white pepper - Meats, casseroles, vegetables and soups
Italian seasoning - A mixture of marjoram, oregano, basil and rosemary; use in Italian dishes such as spaghetti
Marjoram - Egg and cheese dishes, meats, fish, poultry and vegetables
Mint - Fruit salads and fruit soups, melon, berries, cold fruit beverages, cooked carrots or peas, chilled yogurt soup, lamb, tabbouleh
Mustard - Sauces for meat and fish, in marinades, salad dressings, chutneys, pickles and relishes
Nutmeg - Cooked fruits, pies and desserts, baked items, spinach, sweet potatoes, eggnog and French toast
Onion - Any dish where onion flavor is desired; can be used fresh or dried (minced or powder)
Oregano - Italian dishes, chili, omelets, beef stew, meat loaf, pork and vegetables such as broccoli or tomatoes
Parsley - Meat, soup or vegetable dishes; adds color
Paprika - Stew, chicken, fish, potatoes, rice and hard-cooked eggs
Rosemary - Egg dishes, meats, fish, soups and stews, and vegetables
Thyme - Fish, poultry or meats, in soups or stews, vegetable salads
If these writing notes help with your poem/story, do tag me. Or send me a link. I'd love to read them!

Tranquil SAGAU - Part 4
-> Part 1
-> Part 3
-> Part 5
Crepus, true to your initial assumptions of him being sunshine personified, very enthusiastically invited you over for tea once everything in the caravan was cleaned up, the wounded were attended to and the Knights of Favonius reluctantly went on their way.
And by tea, he meant dinner.
And by dinner, he meant a feast that could easily feed an army.
Truly, the Ragnvindr were rich beyond comprehension. Whatever the heart desired, it was at the table. Northern Apple Stew, Northern Smoked Chicken, Sweet Madame, Flaming Red Bolognese, Barbatos Ratatouille, Calla Lily Seafood Soup, Crem Stew, Cold Cut Platter, Satisfying Salad, Sticky Honey Roast -- all alongside many dishes you knew for a fact weren't in the game at all (there was something ravioli-adjacent, a plate of potatoes with seasonings, some dumplings, small snacks, sweet desserts and you even spied something that looked suspiciously like Meringue and was that Tofu? wasn't Tofu Liyuen?), with Apple Cider, Water, tea and a lot of fancy wine (couldn't do without wine at a winery, after all) to serve as drinks.
You had no idea how you were meant to eat so much, or how to even attempt to taste a little bit of everything without your stomach protesting. Did rich people train themselves into having a bottomless stomach so that they could eat what they were given without offending anyone?
"So, (Name)," Crepus began, fancily sipping at his fancy glass of fancy wine, "How come you and your... Friend, arrived at just the precise time to prevent any serious harm? Surely it wasn't a coincidence?"
He chuckled good-naturely as he twirled his wine in circles.
Look at Crepus, digging into the matter without sounding accusatory or condescending! In fact, he sounded eager. You could almost imagine the wagging tail and perked up ears.
Suddenly, you realized who exactly Kaeya took after in his habit of talking circles around people on a daily basis. Not entirely of course -- where Kaeya was smug and suave, Crepus was a giant fluffy friend that had you wrapped around its' paw, because how could you possibly say no to that face? You wouldn't hide anything from a friend, would you? You wouldn't, it was a friend after all, you were so comfortable around him for a reason, there was no need for suspicion and paranoia around sweet old Crepus!
You heard of people weaponizing stupidity, but weaponizing your gold-lab-like personality? That was a first and you clearly met a master of the craft.
"It's a coincidence. Dvalin took me flying every day for the past week. He sensed something off in the distance, so we went to check it out and, well... Ursa happened."
You shrug and sip at your Apple Cider.
Crepus did not look any less excited than before. If anything, he smiled wider and the imaginary tail you swore you saw picked up in speed -- contrasting greatly with Diluc who just sat in his chair silently, with his eyes burning a hole right through you.
A bit unnerving, but what could you do other than endure? Not like he was doing anything wrong, everyone did a little bit of unsettling staring every once in a while.
And besides, this wasn't the Diluc who would burn an Abyss Mage into unconsciousness just to burn them awake for information, this was a baby. A Diluc that wasn't hardened by the loss of his family, by the betrayal of his adopted brother turned Khaenri'ah spy, by the corruption of the Knights of Favonius he sincerely admired and by Snezhnaya kicking him while he was down. He was wearing his heart on his sleeve and now you got sad thinking about what would have happened had you (and Dvalin... Mostly Dvalin...) not been there to intervene.
Everything was not Daijoubu.
"Then what did you friend mean, when he said you could permamently put down Ursa?"
Crepus sounded so genuinely curious and excited, it was adorable. How was this grown ass man so cute? With that crime against humanity of a beard too? It was utter witchcraft!
For a moment, you considered lying about your situation. You considered outright saying you couldn't tell because of personal reasons. You considered following the role model of all fools, Nie Huaisang, and shaking your head out of the situation, repeatedly saying 'you didn't know, you didn't know, you really didn't know--!'
But then you realized the cat was partly out of the bag anyways (thanks Dvalin, you're as subtle as a brick to the face) and it would be just a waste of effort on your part.
"No idea. He's convinced I'm the All-Mother of Teyvat and the longer I am around, the stronger I'll get. Theoretically, it would mean I could do something about Ursa somewhere down the line, but that's if I'm the All-Mother at all, which I doubt."
(Quietly, you refused to acknowledge the part of you that has long since accepted Teyvat would never hurt you and that you may be the All-Mother. Damn Dvalin and his silver tongue, it's like Venti getting Genshin!Diluc on his side with his song all over again!)
Crepus positively shook in excitement, a grin so bright you really wished for sunglasses this time. It's like this sunshine of a man had made it his personal mission to blind you.
Diluc just looked stunned silly, eyes wide like saucers and mouth slightly open in shock.
You sip at your Apple Cider awkwardly, thanking the Archons that neither Kaeya nor the Dawn Winery staff were around to add more weirdness to this disaster of a dinner.
☆(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ* ✨ Author Note✨
Look at me, completely ignoring Canon.
Did Crepus have a personality in Canon? Maybe. I didn't read the manga. Do I know what it might be? Nope. I didn't read the manga, so now he's an excited gold lab with a side seasoning of sly fox.
The beauty of fanfiction, reality is whatever the hell I want it to be.
Sometimes you need to just run with half a fact you probably misheard and misinterpreted to make something fun happen, SAGAU needs some fluffy vibes without the damn cult worship.
The people that know what they're doing are writing impostor AUs and cult AUs, so might as well volunteer myself as tribute for this one.
I should probably make a masterlist at some point, shouldn't I? The parts are going to grow really fast considering I keep them all short.
Something to think about.
✨Taglist✨
@game-savvy @chaoticfivesworld @mmeatt
Heeeey, mmeatt's tag works finally! It only took me 3 parts to figure it out!
Also special mention to @chaoticfivesworld who casually dropped some important lore on me in a comment, probably not realizing it would become a plothole in the future because, I repeat, I don't know canon as much as I probably should.
Yolo.

My Skinny Tips for the Holidays
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you’re in the US, Thanksgiving is this week and next month begins all the holiday parties and events for Christmas, Hanakkuh, Kawanzaa, and all other winter holidays that will include a ton of processed and sugary foods, seasonal coffee’s and fun drinks, and alcohol.
A note for the dieting police out there: Don’t even try it with me.
How I Manage the Holidays + My Body
So generally during November and December, I eat very clean (except for the holidays). I allow myself a Thanksgiving plate with everything (literally everything), dessert, sugary fun drinks/alcohol, and leftovers. This is the same thing I do with Christmas dinner as well. I don’t limit what I eat on the actual holidays, but the other days I do.
How I Eat on Non-Holiday Days
So like I said, I eat very clean in Nov and Dec because I know it’s going to get crazy on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. So I stick to eating mostly vegetables, soup, and lean protein. I actually stop drinking smoothies this time because I’d rather eat my protein than drink it so I’m not feeling hungry so soon. I get hungry faster when I drink a smoothie than I do with actually eating, so I eat more (just sticking with veggies, soup, and lots of lean protein). I do cut back heavily on bread, rice, and pasta; but my main source of carbs comes from fruit, sweet potatoes, and corn (corn is carb-heavy). I also cut OUT added sugars. I read the label on everything. 0g of added sugar is what I get. Like I said, I still indulge on whatever I want during the actual holiday meal which are things loaded in sugar, so I cut back for the month. And for everyone saying “it’s restricting” … babe, respectfully, shut up. Cutting out added sugar that does nothing for you except make you crash, bloated, ruin your gut lining, decrease collagen production, can increase your A1C (diabetes risk), and turns straight to fat is not restricting. You’re gonna have that stuff on the holidays— you can cut it out for 3 weeks, I promise.
Managing Holiday Office Parties & Community Events
I still enjoy the office potlucks and other mini events because I usually reach for the protein options instead or the veggie options. I’ll have the turkey, the ham, the deviled eggs (deviled eggs hate to see me coming), the cranberry chicken salad, etc. I still enjoy myself, I’ll just not have the pumpkin pie, the Mac and cheese, the stuffing, etc. because I’m saving that for my actual Thanksgiving/Christmas meal. Also… I do not trust other people cooking for me unless I’m there watching things happen. I don’t know what goes on at your house lol.
… But what if Paula from HR brought in her world famous (insert sugary, fatty, super processed, but super yummy food here)?
I’m most definitely going to have something if it’s something I can’t get anywhere else. If there is something that I know looks good (or is actually good) and I’m not gonna have it at my Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, then I’ll have some. I don’t say no because it’s not part of my “diet”. There’s this girl I used to work with and she would bring in these cheesy, turkey, apple, and cranberry sliders. They were SO GOOD. I would have 1 slider and then load up on the celery and other veggies or fruit.
Alcohol
I’m not drinking alcohol unless it’s Thanksgiving, Christmas, or NYE. That’s just a no go for me. When I drink, I like to drink socially. But there’s 3 days for the rest of the year where I’m going to be drinking all night, so I don’t have any alcohol unless it’s the day of the holiday.
Bring in a healthy side option
For my office potluck, I’m making a fruit bowl, a veggie plate, and a large charcuterie board. My work bestie and I will prob be the only ones picking off of the veggie plate, but at least we do have options to load up on in case Paula from HR brings in that delicious yummy option and we want a full plate of food like everyone else.
If I’m going to have it on Thanksgiving or Christmas, I’m not going to have it anywhere else (unless it’s protein)
I will skip the sweet potato casserole and the macaroni and cheese because I’m going to have it on my Thanksgiving and Christmas. Again, I don’t care for home cooking unless I was there watching you cook for me (or if you’re a cute old lady or a grandma, I trust them so much). But the point is, I’m not going to have 8 Thanksgiving dinners this month. I’ll have one with my family and that’s it. I’m not even doing a Friendsgiving this year (but that’s only because we’re all traveling or working). But the main reason we gain weight during the holidays isn’t because we have a treat or two, it’s because we are having a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal every 2 seconds.
What’s on my Thanksgiving/Christmas plate?
I eat whatever I want, but I’ll only have a plate and a slice of dessert. I don’t get seconds or thirds. I’m a one plate girly and that’s it but I load my plate with everything and I give myself solid amounts. I don’t put tiny scoops of anything on my plate. I’d rather have food on my plate that I can’t finish rather than me cleaning my plate because I didn’t put enough of anything on there and still feeling hungry and restricted. I want to enjoy myself with my family. Thanksgiving and Christmas isn’t the time to feel restricted. For dessert, I’ll have a slice of a dessert. This year I’m being told we’re having pumpkin pie and Dutch apple pie, which are both my favorites. So I’m going to have HALF a slice of pumpkin pie and HALF a slice of the apple pie and it’ll equal to one full slice. With alcohol, I’m always drinking water. I actually drink water with my meal and drink alcohol around the meal. I personally like to stick to red wine.
How do I handle leftovers?
My family likes to give the kids (which would be me, my sibling, and our cousins) the leftovers so we can take it home. I try to take most of the protein, green bean casserole (my all-time fav omg), and deviled eggs (my grandmother makes the best, it’s impossible to beat her tbh) whereas my sibling and our cousins like to take the macaroni, garlic mash, stuffing, sweet potato casserole, and the other foods.
Exercise
I’m exercising everyday. Even on Thanksgiving and Christmas I’m exercising. I have my own routine but on Thanksgiving and Christmas, I’ll also be doing a hot (plump) girl walk after my meals to help my food digest. But even on my rest days, I’m doing active recovery.
The whole month isn’t a holiday.
I think you just have to manage the holidays by reminding yourself that’s it’s not Christmas or Thanksgiving everyday. You don’t need a full Christmas or Thanksgiving plate each day. Still enjoy the fun Starbucks drinks or Kelly from the marketing department’s apple pie, but order the tall Starbucks and not the grande or venti. Have a slice of the pie and not 1/3 of the pie. Don’t eat the candy on the table that you don’t really care for but it’s within reach so you eat it anyway. Save that for something you actually do like.
…And for anyone who is going to rage type a weird message saying I’m promoting anything unhealthy, please save yourself the time.
Happy Holidays! 🤍
✨ My new book “The Luxe Girl’s Playbook” is available now (this is the link). It’s about going into 2025 a brand new, leveled up version of yourself mentally and how you can make everyone that doubted you absolutely sickkkkk. It’s the mental diet we all need. It’ll be unavailable mid-December 2024 🫶🏼

(my favorite recipe posts I've made over the years, plus backstories that sound like your grandmother's reminiscing over the past.)
LATE WINTER BUTTER ROLLS
My first post I ever made. I was pretty new to the tumblr community at the time. I loved kitchen witchcraft, and I'm the type of person who will ramble on about how much I love cooking and baking. This blog gave me an outlet to express my love of cooking, baking, paganism, and witcraft. And these rolls are very tasty, I make them to this day!
WITCHY TOMATO BASIL SOUP
Tasty, simple, and a crowd-pleaser. It's perfect for a beginner kitchen witch! It was also the second recipe I ever posted.
SWEET CREAM BUNS
It was a recipe given to me by one of my good friends at the time. Every time I make it, it gets devoured in less than 10 minutes. It was also my first recipe to get over 50 notes. I was shocked but ecstatic that so many people would even give it the time of day lol.
WITCHY THUMBPRINT COOKIES
These ones were just fun to make and delicious lol.
A WITCH’S COZY BUTTERNUT WINTER SOUP
A quick soup that feeds a lot of people during the fall season. Fall is my favorite season, so of course I'm very biased lol.
SAMHAIN PUMPKIN BREAD
I love pumpkin bread and apple cider... So why not combine the two? This one was definitely one of my favorites of all time. Moist pumpkin bread and chocolate chips have to be one of my favorite things on this planet. It also makes for the perfect gift for friends and family. Yummy!
ANGEL’S AWARD-WINNING LEMON POPPY SEED BREAD
I love dessert loaves of any kind, so naturally, this would be on the list lol.
MAPLE BUTTER COOKIES
Super simple comfort food! I love any time of cookie with brown sugar.
BRING ME POSITIVITY PECAN FRENCH TOAST BAKE
I love French toast, and I love positivity~
SAMHAIN SOUL CAKES RECIPE
These are really good! And traditional. If you celebrate Samhain, I recommend you make some soul cakes and have friends and family help decorate. I give the littles a bag of orange frosting and let them go crazy lol.
FEEL BETTER CHICKEN SOUP
One of my most recent is my witchy twist on chicken noodle soup!

Pairing: yandere! San x f!Reader
Genre: Some fluff, angst, yandere au, established relationship au
Warnings: Murder, blood, violence, creepy waiter stares at ur boobs
WC: 1182
Summary: You and San are trying to have a nice dinner when a waiter gets a little too close for comfort...and San is having none of that.
This is a collab between me and @sanjoongie <3 she wrote san's pov and let me tell you, it is BONE chilling! ^^ please make sure to read and enjoy her side of the story too <3
-
“What do you want to order?” your boyfriend asks, thumbing through the menu.”I don’t care what or how much—it’s on me. You just have to make room for dessert.” You laugh at San’s eagerness, only to look up and see him staring at you like you hung the stars in the sky.
“Thank you, baby,” you hum, leaning over the table to kiss his lips softly. “This place looks so nice. I’m glad it’s right by us, we can just go again if we don’t get everything we like.”
San smiles, turning his head to kiss your lips properly before pulling back, a starry look still in his eyes. “Of course, love. Whatever to make you happy.”
Your cheeks burn at his sweet words and you busy yourself with the menu again.
“Are you two ready to order?” A waiter approaches your table, a smile directed at you and you flash a quick one back before looking back down.
“Uh, San, do you have an idea?”
Your boyfriend hums. “I’d like to get the steak, but I’d like to replace the salad with the potatoes. And if we can get the truffle fries as an appetiser that’d be great. Babe?”
“Uh, sure. Could I get the French onion soup? And if I could have some decaf coffee with that?” You glance up at the waiter and are utterly embarrassed to realise he’s not looking at you but down your collar at your tits. You scoot over, smile fading. “Black is fine,” you mumble out, your hand gripping the menu just a little tighter. The waiter nods, and with one last quirk of the lips, he’s taking your orders to the back of the house.
San frowns at your act, leaning forward. “Are you okay, my love?”
You shrug, pulling the collar of your dress up a little. How you wish you wore something else. “Waiter was staring at my boobs but whatever. I’m just excited for the food.” You send a small smile to your boyfriend, who returns it but with some annoyance brewing behind his eyes. But thankfully, he lets it slide.
“He should keep his eyes on his little notebook,” is the only snarky response San mutters under his breath, and the rest of the dinner goes smoothly. The two of you joke and laugh, and San moves to sit on the outside of your side of the table so when the waiter comes back he has no choice but to look at San in the eyes instead. It makes you giggle the tiniest bit and San leans into your shoulder as his shoulders shake in silent amusement at how happy you are.
“Hey babe, I’m going to head to the bathroom. Can you grab the check? And you can warm up the car if you want.” San pecks you on the cheek before standing and pulling on his suit jacket, his gloves half hanging out of the pocket.
“Stay safe and don’t fall in,” you joke and San chuckles at the bad joke you always say, shaking his head and not gracing you with a response as he hands you his wallet to pay and heads towards the back.
You finish your coffee, gather your items, and pay, but then you belatedly realise you didn’t even get to have dessert. A pout forms on your face. Dessert is easily the best part of dates with San, and now you don’t even get to have that.
“San?” You call through the men’s bathroom door. “Are you in there?”
You pause, but no response. With a sigh, you tap your foot and turn, looking around the restaurant to see if you can catch sight of his familiar blonde hair, but to no avail. But what does catch your attention is the slightly ajar door leading outside to your right and curiosity gets the better of you.
“San-ah, could we get ice-cream?” You call as you carefully step your way through the door, hiking up your skirt to not let it catch on the rugged wood.
You look to your right and see the street. You look to your left, and a scream lodges itself in your throat. There is your sweet, beautiful, loving boyfriend with blood on his hands and face as he holds a waiter…the waiter against the brick wall and a crazed grin pulling at his lips. The horror that you want to express does not come out the way you want. Instead of a shriek ripping its way out, all that you can conjure is a soft “San?” and a choked sob.
Your boyfriend’s head snaps toward you, the almost demonic smile softening as he sees you. You step towards him before stopping at the corner of the dumpster they’re behind, not willing to step even closer to the limp body.
“San, that man–” you try to say, reaching out and grabbing onto his sleeve, but San pulls his arm out of your grip as gently as he always handles you.
“My purpose is to protect you, my love. Let me do my job.”
Your eyes widen as he drops the waiter to the ground behind a dumpster, bending down to callously wipe his gloves off on the waiter’s jacket before moving closer to you.
“He won’t bother you anymore, my love. Now let’s go get ice cream,” he hums carelessly, pressing his lips to yours. You can’t tell if you want to gag at the metallic taste entering your mouth or not, but all you do is swallow your beating heart back down and nod with a shaky smile.
He wipes his face with his gloved hands before leading you to the car and driving you to your favourite ice cream parlour. He orders two vanilla cones, passing one to you as you find a booth in the corner.
You can’t quite focus on your ice cream, though. It’s quickly drooping as you lick it slowly, your eyes fixed on San. If it wasn’t for your direct witness, you’d almost not know what horror he just committed. He takes large bites of his scoop like he always does, a cheerful look on his face and no trace of malice anywhere.
“Aren’t you going to eat yours, babe?” San’s saccharine voice pulls you out of your spiralling thoughts and you quickly lap at the melting vanilla dessert. “Are you feeling okay, honey?”
You nod quickly, unsure of what to say if you should say anything. “Yeah, yeah, baby. I’m just tired.” It’s an unconvincing lie and you let your lips pull into a smile to do your best to convince him further.
San smiles back, softly, but you can’t help but still see the twisted one flash in your memory. And the worst thing is that you can’t tell whether you hate it or not. “I love you forever,” San hums, leaning over to steal a bit of your ice cream and kiss your temple.
“I love you forever,” you repeat, and you feel deep in your heart that it’s not a lie, not now, not ever.

vegan agere meals/snacks
i know a lot of little space content centered around childish meals centers around things like cheese and crackers, and chicken nuggets, so i thought for the vegan regressors in the little community i would make a list of snacks us regressors can have!!!
!! if youre too small to cut/cook things by yourself, get your cg to help !!
small snacks!
chopped fruit! chop up fruit into little cubes and put it in a little bowl, eat that with a baby fork!
carrot fries! cut carrots into small strips and roll them in seasoning (my fav is fry seasoning salt), and then air fry them with a little bit of cooking spray!
potato chips! most potato chips r vegan, and my fav r the hardbite brand but a little bowl of chips is always a good snack!

meals!
peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! you can chop them into any kinds of shapes that you like!
ramen noodles! have the kind with artificial beef or chicken flavours instead of actual meat products! this can be a cool replacement for mac and cheese type meals!
tomato soup! a warm bowl of soup is always good for sleepy littles!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
desserts!
gummies! have a little bowl of things like sour patch kids!!!
dairy-free ice cream! put a few scoops in a little bowl, make sure you have napkins on hand in case it gets messy!
