I love the idea that Damian's posh language is a choice. Like he's fully knowledgeable about and capable of using modern slang but he uses it sparingly to the point where he basically weaponizes it. Like people piss themselves when he starts talking like a normal teenager because that how you know he's about to fuck you up.

I think more people need to play around with Damian's speech. Don't get me wrong, I love the antiquated Victorian child style of speech, but also he's a teenager that swears plenty in the comics. We really need more scenes like:

Damian: Father, I regret to inform you that I have been assigned in-school suspension for the next three days.

Bruce: What, why?!

Damian: My classmate Kevin was disparaging a female classmate for turning him down, so I called him 'a rizz-less, basic-ass neckbeard bitch' and said I was going to fuck his mom and give her a son she'd actually love.

Bruce: *is completely speechless*

Damian: That is all I needed to tell you. If you will excuse me, I have homework to complete before dinner and patrol.

As someone who started working full time in corporate at 19, I'm kinda obsessed with this

I counter your “Dick is old” statement with the batbrothers constantly being reminded of how young he actually is.

“Ask Dick, he’s ancient.” Jason says. A week later Jason saves a terrified grad student from a kidnapping and the guy tells Jason he’s 25. And Jason’s like what. But you’re a kid?!

“I was 25 when I adopted Dick.”

“What?!” Everyone says! “That’s so young, you can’t be a dad at that age that’s insane!”

“Dick is 25.” Bruce responds and they’re all horrified.

*Dick is in the hospital and Jason and Tim are trying to figure out his insurance situation when Bruce walks in and tells them them that Dick is still on his plan since he’s not 26 yet.*

I just feel like they don’t understand how young Dick actually is and they tease him so much that sometimes they don’t even realize that he’s really still so young. (I obviosuly don’t know the accurate ages of everything, but just saying).
