We got a treadmill for free from a friend/my boss a week or so ago, and I had a lot of weird energy today so I decided to test it out. Walked for some time (I wanna say it was like 25 min but I don't remember) and then hours later still had the weird energy and walked another 20 min

And idk how much I'll keep it up but it did seem to help today at the least

Legs do feel a bit like I've been walking too long on the moving sidewalks at like universal or airports...

started off as me redrawing some of my initial mairon designs and ended up going on an rpg tangent 😭 i really wish i could have done the portraits in a pixel art style to better fit the aesthetic but my canvas wasnt the right size!!! i ended up changing annatar completely (im still contemplating how much i prefer this one compared to his old one however...!) and adjusting post-numenor sauron a bit when compared to their old 2022 sketches! im probably gonna do more redraws in the months to come cause of all the stuff i wanna change when i look back to some of my old designs haha 😳

i like to think each 'form' sauron takes eventually has different mannerisms and likes/dislikes the longer he stays in them without shapeshifting into something else, but one thing they all have in common is being predisposed to nagging melkor 😎

Bruce in my Jason lives AU: Robin's mental state concerns me. He's been getting emotional on the field, what happened in Ethiopia took a toll on him and I'm still not sure whether or not he killed Garzonas. I'm gonna encourage him to meet other heroes his age and maybe build his own team, see if their good influence helps him regulate and keeps him on the right path!

Also while I’m talking about PJO, I really hope that the beach fight scene is badass in the show. Like Percy has not used his powers at ALL so far and I hope the beach fight scene we get hints of how terrifying he can be when he’s actually using them like in the later books

and now for a (slightly long) addendum: i know i depict SRS as jokey and kooky, but when it comes to not shitposting and actual characterization, i have Thoughts and Feelings about them. the entire story, they just want to do what they hope will help the people around them, even though it all ends up horribly, HORRIBLY wrong. that's tragic, and it has my interest. considering the heaviness (and intrigue) of SRS’s storyline, for me to only ever depict them as a goofball be way too shallow of me, and unfaithful to their canon characterization.

so to answer your question: they hold themselves together, of course, but the shame, regret, and embarrassment is still evident.

I get the impression that the Good Omens fans rallying for season 3 pre-production to resume don't realise that Neil Gaiman's production company, The Blank Corporation, is co-producing it. There has been no suggestion that this will change. How far is he really going to "step back" while that's the case?

I understand these things are complicated and imperfect. But some fans seem way too willing to accept the most superficial reduction in his involvement before washing their hands of concerns about supporting a sexual predator. It's really upsetting to see.

obsessed with how marc's performance of celebrity has this kind of forced im normal im regular sheen to it sometimes that comes off as deeply vulnerable and trying too hard at the same time. his documentary where he tells everybody hes normal no really (conditions of normal: having family members and emotions) and then every other person interviewed is like hes an asshole hes insane hes the next virgin mary hes maybe icarus hes a wizard hes a workaholic and i dont know he does x y and z because it should be IMPOSSIBLE. like hes often balancing some degree of a lie AND often some of the most intensely intimate images ive ever seen come from a celebrity. literally inviting a camera crew to film him waking up from anesthesia. balancing "normalcy" with clear alien status as recognized by his peers. AND he'll drop ass to britney if given half a chance
