I'm believe myself to not be the greatest at characterizing, so forgive me. All head canon, and I went overboard with this.

I can't decide if Lethica would correct them in the moment, but she would definitely be thinking about it the whole time. She would find it very cute and tell Marius about it later but conveniently leave out the part of her correcting them or not.

Marius just thinks, "Oh, what an interesting assumption." And then spends the next couple nights imagining himself as a woman, or even as just femme presenting, and also daydreaming about being Lethica's girlfriend and being seen and acknowledged as Lethica's girlfriend...

All of a sudden, it's no longer a haha interesting assumption, and now Lethica has a girlfriend, and that girlfriend is Marius, and they're lesbians.
