Eponine's story breaks my heart in all versions

Javert, because of course! I instantly became obsessed with him and will never stop being obsessed with him.

Let's say, my favourite version of the story is the Brick. I love the musical, but still... You know, there's a moment in the book when Valjean appears from the sewers with Marius after having spent a shit ton of pages nearly drowning in literal shit, and Hugo describes this warm summer evening with birds and fresh air... I love this moment, and no other version has it, because you can only have it as a text description.

Skipping cast members, my favourite pairing is valvert hands down

Are there any real haters here? But, yeah, probably Javert. Some people see him as this plain villain (who commits suicide for no reason, yeah)

It's SO HARD to simpathise with Marius, SOOO HARD

Two months ago I saw the Les Mis national tour. I was excited, sure. I had grown up with Les Mis and had periods of *obsession* of course, but it had been a long while and this time it really was just going to be like seeing an old friend again!

And then fucking Kyle Adams’ Grantaire happened and a switch flipped in my brain.

Now I can’t get enough as I dissect grainy bootlegs and compare casts and consume all the fanfiction and my poor partner who just listens so gracefully as I go on and on and on and…….help 🙃
