I'm believe myself to not be the greatest at characterizing, so forgive me. All head canon, and I went overboard with this.

I can't decide if Lethica would correct them in the moment, but she would definitely be thinking about it the whole time. She would find it very cute and tell Marius about it later but conveniently leave out the part of her correcting them or not.

Marius just thinks, "Oh, what an interesting assumption." And then spends the next couple nights imagining himself as a woman, or even as just femme presenting, and also daydreaming about being Lethica's girlfriend and being seen and acknowledged as Lethica's girlfriend...

Anyway I’m a biomed class where unit 1 is studying medical investigations forensic science style

and one of the things is like, what happens to a person after the body has been dead for a while (post mortem or sum, see im learning :D)

Things like algor mortis, livor mortis, I’ve heard of. In fact I’ve even studied the clouding of the corneas before, but it never got to me till today

maybe it’s cause I cannot for the life of me study forensics without my wild imagination giving me nightmares or just panicking when I’m alone but aNyWays

I tend to imagine characters associated with death in these scenarios so I don’t lose it in class💀

So as I was taking notes on the slideshow, some of the images of clouded corneas reminded me strangely of something familiar, but at that point I couldn’t tell. There’s something haunting about the eyes (or maybe it’s just my over-analytical brain loving small details like this) they’re GORGEOUS

And that honestly made me realize that in this scene she’s not—she’s not even unconscious

No she’s literally, physiologically dead

she is literally a dead body this hits me so hard😭😭

and I can imagine algor mortis kicked in by then, her body was probably cold to the touch

so imagine how he felt, and I’m aware people have analyzed his emotions but just think about it

he’s always seen her so full of life and hope, and now all he has left is an empty shell of her, cold and dead with no life left inside

the more I think about it Hanako is just an animated corpse

he has no reflection in his eyes most of the time because he is ✨dead✨

I mean Mei, Mitsuba, and Hanako don’t have a little white reflection dot like Nene and Kou

Or maybe I’m overthinking it and Nene’s eyes are just super reflective

even for someone who presumably took his own life, he probably never saw tsukasa’s body start postmortem and actually feel dead bc it looked extremely bloody ngl (I’m guessing he killed himself right after 💔)

and now he’s holding someone he cares about like this for the first time and I’ll bet that scarred him

and he figured out that never, never ever did he ever want to see his sweet assistant like this again, lifeless in his arms

It’s been a while since our collab, but I think I just realized a cool little detail on both our parts! (By which I mean that I TOTALLY meant to put said detail into my writing. It DEFINITELY wasn’t a nice surprise-coincidence or anything…) 

So, before the story’s climax, ending, and epilogue, you helped me decide to have Ness wear a leather jacket, since duh, he’s an Egopat. Well, that in turn made me decide to describe the leather as cyan because of irl Matt’s blue jacket. 

I was watching some of the FNAF Musical blooper-reels last night. When Matt came onscreen, I finally noticed how, in every single installment, he wears a bright blue T-shirt under Mad’s bear suit. The collar is pretty much always sticking out. Just one more thing for the awesome doppelganger scenario you cooked up, lol. 

And while we’re on the subject of weird parallels…

You always draw Mad with orange eyes. The color orange has plenty of positive symbolism, but it still has just as much negativity. It’s often seen as the color of arrogance, impatience, and wrongful pride. Now, if all that stuff doesn’t sum up Mad’s personality, then I’m not sure what will. 

Now, on another side of the coin: it’s been scientifically proven that the brain associates the colors red and yellow with hunger, since both colors can be symbolic of warmth and energy. Just seeing them can actively increase your appetite. And who exactly has some sinister cravings and was designed with a jacket similar to Matt’s iconic red leather? 

…Yeah, I guess I’m just saying that I could totally see Caliban’s eyes flicking to yellow whenever he gets into his feral mode, only to change back when he’s able to chill out. (Which, now that I think of it, could also reference how, unlike Mad, he's still got a little humanity left despite being so unhinged.) I’ve always loved the concept of unnatural eye colors in human characters. 

Lol, sorry for rambling. Not trying to pressure you into anything since you’re probably busy; I just figured I’d share what I noticed and expand on it a little.

Anyways, I also thought of Ness’s jacket being cyan to correlate with that damn blue shirt always peaking out of Mad’s onesie.

I’m so glad that someone saw Mad’s eye color has a meaning, lol. Other than using orange as a default for Mack as well, Mad’s color was definitely used to symbolize his arrogance and unearned pride. Bro thinks he’s all that, when his many plans crashed and burned without having a backup plan.

Cal and Mad are two sides of the same, rusty, and corroded coin. One has the sliver of copper that still shines brightest when sunlight reflects, and the other barely even shows a spot of light.

Cal still has a sense of humanity, because even with his upbringing and cannibalistic tendencies, he still has family, friends and a partner, something Mad most definitely doesn’t. Cal may still be a deranged killer, but he’s one who still sees the few people (mainly kids) that has nativity and innocence from the shit world. Mad… not so much.

Lmao also imagining those mfs having their eyes shine like cats when you shine a light their faces. Just as scary ngl

The concept of Mad having Ness as his “clone” having what he can’t, happiness, and Mad having Cal as someone who an “equal” to his murderous traits also having what he can’t, family. Two characters who are a parallel to Madpat in so many ways, only connected to what little similarities he grasps onto to justify to want to take away everything, it makes me into a crazy person.

i love your baxter posts sm i think you capture his character So well its wonderful fhdkfh theres a lot of talk about baxter and an mc that date and break up in step 3, but what if when baxter asks mc out, they want to say yes but state that they dont think itd be a good idea since he's only staying for the summer? They're very aware that he will be gone once summer ends and they don't want to get even closer with him just to have it end. Im curious what baxter would think, having an mc that fully accepts the fact that he's going to leave their life for good when he leaves Sunset Bird. Just a thought i've had for a little while!

ok im ngl its probably very ooc but i can also see it still being very true to his character bc i think that (especially if you date baxter in step 3 (n marry cove)) baxter regrets letting you go and no matter if you date or not, and he imagines what life could've been like if he didn't cut you off at the end of summer. ANYWAY I HOPE YOU LIKE IT <333 this hurt to write but fuck it made my brain tingle n i always end up writing the most delicious angst

but as he gets to know you better over the summer, baxter starts to crush on you hard, and now he's very conflicted...

on one hand, he's glad you didn't date. he couldn't bear the idea of having to reject you, especially if you asked him to come back or keep seeing you.

but on the other, he sees the way you slide up to cove and tease him, the way you slot your hands together with Miranda and pull her into a dance under the sprinklers...

no matter how he feels, he accepts it easily, and he laughs off your rejection and even thanks you for your understanding, and it's like nothing ever happened.

but sometimes he thinks about what if. like when you fingers touch, or you're laughing, and that mischievous sparkle comes to your eyes and he wonders about what it'd be like if he could kiss that expression off your have and trade it for a flustered one.. but you both know it's nothing he can allow to continue outside of this one and only summer in sunset bird.

and even though he's glad you are so willing to let him go when the summer ends, baxter regrets not being able to let him be someone important, or at least be a common staple in someones life besides being the weird-monochrome-neighbor renting a condo for the summer.

he ends up hurting himself this way, and when he's staring the the ceiling of his temporary home he has regrets.

but in the morning he lets himself fall to the sidelines and tries to make himself a blurry figure in the memories of that summer...

when you meet again and start dating, he's glad you rejected him then. he doesn't think his 19 year old self could have handled pulling away from you. your affection is so tender, you're very gentle with him but firm in how much you love him. and one night he thanks you for rejecting him, and he feels high with the way your laugh shakes his head laying on your chest. "it would've filled me with double the regret to break up with you if we did..."

when you meet again, and he sees how you are with cove while planning your wedding, baxter sees why cove is so clingy with you. you look at him with tender eyes, and you grip his hand in excitement when you have your final session. even he's teary-eyed while you exchange vows, it moves him. but when the final chair is packed up and when baxter walks into his dark apartment. no one is waiting on the couch. no one is creeping down the hall with a sleepy call of his name... he wants what you have with cove. + maybe he even wants that with you.

Well so I did push through on writing this week. Retrieved my real computer yesterday so I did all of the work on my old laptop, resurrected, short on battery life, unable to charge except for some reason from one particular outlet in the house, who knows why.

But anyhow. I finally got through the block on the next chapter of the Peace-Tied continuity, which-- I just scrolled back in a Discord thread where I'd been discussing it and I got as far as December of 2022 before i was squarely before this point. So it's been a big block for a while. And now I'm like.........

where was I going after this

LOL it's such a weird feeling, to have finally worked past a scene you'd been planning on writing-- and the thing is, I really wasn't sure which direction it would go, my first draft of it was way too much one direction and I'd written it ahead of the setup, and once I did the setup that draft didn't really work anymore, and some of the setup was from ideas I'd had years before, and needed fixing, and anyway it's been many drafts and I wasn't sure where it would come out. And I'm still not sure what it actually means. But now I have to go back and look at what my ideas were for the next bits, and figure out where I'm taking those.

And the chapter isn't even ready to post, i still need to go back and make sure I've walked the fine line between "character doing what I need him to" and "ooc", and I'm ngl I'm a bit resigned to it coming down on the "ooc" side, but I console myself nobody who minds that is still reading along with this unless they're quietly hate-reading in which case you do you, I respect that.

So I'm actually at the point in both ongoing serieses where I'm like...... past a big block I've been trying to strategize around for a long time. And on to a next section I've mostly not let myself write ahead. So it's weird uncharted territory, especially when you're not an outliner. (I can't do outlines, really, I can only speculate about what might happen next, and more often than you'd think I absolutely know where to take things despite not having overtly planned them, but. I secretly suspect this takes up all of the brain space I have, which most people use for like, their daily life, and this is why ADHD meds can't fix me, because my head is entirely full of fictional realities and there's just not room for real ones. IDK. Can I know where I left my keys? No I may not have that information because I filled the place where it goes with different Wet Cat Boy scenarios, sorry.)

anyway I think it's even odds, looking back at the last posted chapter, how many commenters expect this scene to go where it went.

Behind the cut: a snippet of what happens next in Eagle Sable, Lozenge Gules, which left off with Iorveth's Unicorn Badge story which had taken me a couple of years to write too. I will update that chapter soon so don't click if you really want to be surprised I guess, LOL. But I don't realistically know how long the final edits will take me. I'm off to the farm tomorrow probably, and it's three weeks there this time, so. Not a ton of time for writing, coming up. But the hard part's done, I hope.

Gascon tasted like wine too, but it tasted different in his mouth than it had in Iorveth’s. Roche pulled from his physical memory and slid his tongue into Gascon’s mouth just as Iorveth had to him, and Gascon made a soft little whimpering noise and opened up to him.

he would just be …. so sweet. :(((((( honestly i’m imagining this as a scenario where you’re more passionate about the rivalry between you, while sugu is more so just …. indulging you. i can’t picture him hating you or wanting you to fail; he barely sees you as competition in the first place (which probably makes you… even angrier lmao). so it’s almost like a one-sided rivalry with him teasing you a little :33 he thinks you’re cute. you think he’s infuriating. and a little too pretty for his own good

so when he doesn’t receive any taunting texts from you, and stops spotting you at lectures, as that dreadful exam of yours crawls closer and closer…. he gets worried. he’s good at hiding it, though!! but he suddenly realizes how much he appreciates your presence… and i think that spurs him into taking action. he shows up in front of your dorm with a bag of snacks and drinks, as well as notes he’s been taking during the lectures, in case you’ve fallen behind on studying…. and when you open the door and he’s met with your exhausted face, his heart squeezes in his chest :(((( you just look. so small. so meek. you look like you’re about to crumble.

and he’s just . so observant. yk?? he notices the way you almost audibly wince when you see his notes, how heavy the bags under your eyes have gotten, how you look a little skinnier than usual. you’re just!!!! soso stressed!!!! buckling under the pressure!!!!!! and if anything his presence is just making it worse, because he looks totally fine. at ease. as pretty as ever. and you don’t want him to tease you so you tell him to leave… but he lets himself in instead.

anyway . one way or another. it ends with you seated on your couch, wrapped up in a blanket, close to falling asleep while suguru makes you a sandwich in your tiny kitchen. you’re sipping from a to-go cup of hot chocolate that he picked up from a café on the way (you ask for coffee but he refuses <333 no caffeine for the sleep deprived little guy!!), curling in on yourself, still struggling to keep yourself together. he’s being so sweet. plopping down next to you and putting on a random netflix show. he won’t let you do any more studying or spiralling before you’ve had a proper break + lunch :((((( he cares . he cares so much and you’re so tired. you’re so scared of failing. you’re so scared of not living up to their expectations— his expectations.

so i feel like you just ….. start crying . a bit. sniffling. trying to keep the tears at bay. because you’re just too tired to keep them in, yk?? and having him there to keep you company and coddle you a little feels so nice somehow. suguru notices, because he’s suguru. and he just …. coos. very quietly. and rubs your back. telling you to just let it out, that you’ll feel better afterwards. and he’s right :’3 he’s right but you’re just . overwhelmed. and he eventually pulls you a little closer and lets you sob into his chest. you ask him why he’s being so nice to you… through little hiccups…….. and he just kisses the crown of your head. “do i need a reason to be?” he whispers, and you nuzzle into his neck. it’s just silent. peaceful.

… and you fall asleep like that. on his chest. you’re mortified when you wake up, but he just flashes you a sly grin and ruffles your hair before getting up from the couch. his notes are on the table, there’s an extra sandwich in your fridge, and he puts a vitamin drink in your hands before leaving. he tells you to call him if you get too stressed, tells you that you can study together if you’d like —

The others ARE relevant! Massively in fact! My brain has just been rotating some of the bigger and more uhhhh painful(?) elements of this version lately, so they've been coming up a bit less.

Roxy is probably going to be the much larger focus character, because of the Blorboism and because of the new structure I've got here. I'm still working on what specific direction I want to take a lot of the other animatronics, Vanessa, Eddie, Luis maybe and whoever else that comes along, but they physically can't be irrelevant.

Basically, what I want this version of Meteors to be structured like, is I suppose, two separate stories that are actually just one. Roxy (and somewhat Cassie as well) is acting sort of like a bridge between two separate worlds, the familiar Ruined Pizza Plex (and by extension, the remnants of Fazbear's actions) and the unfamiliar Outside World. These two places start off (hopefully anyway) feeling light years apart, but gradually feel closer and closer to each other until they're now just one world. Which is... not something I've ever done before ngl so while I'm determined to give it a try, I'm also like. Fully aware if I ever actually start writing it (I live in hope) that it may not come across like that lmao but hey! Live and learn!

Anyway! With this in mind, yeah the other animatronics are all relevant as a part of the Pizza Plex side of the story. With Ruin as the set up and with the narrative puzzle pieces I have in my head, there is a lot to do over on that side of things! Like. An actual fuck ton of ground to cover, and Roxy's not doing that on her own, it wouldn't be possible and would kinda suck ngl

I don't have a set role for everyone at the moment. Like I say, I've had the broader, and newer stuff on my mind lately and this structure is brand new so I haven't really slotted everything into place just yet. I know what I want to include, I have a huge fun ending in mind that I really hope slots in with the 'both worlds being one' thing by the time I get there, but yeah uhh... still working on it so if you want to know what a specific animatronic's role is uhhhh you may not get an answer right away but you also might trigger my brain to work it out right then and there so... Take this as you will lmao

What I have now? Mostly Roxy because she's my blorbo of all time lmao. I've also got scenarios with some new concepts and bots I want to try out from book sources that I'm HEAVILY fucking around with, and some new ideas for the others that I need to cook a bit more because while they're good and fun, they might not fit what I'm aiming for now. I dunno! I had those ideas last night I haven't really had a huge amount of time to see how they'd fit yet, ya know? We'll see how it goes!

“Why would I be tired of you? You’re the love of my life!” He shouts, you flinching as his booming voice made your ears ring. He apologizes, hugging you tightly into his chest. You do a heaving motion, fighting back the tears as his words play on loop in your mind. “I could never see anyone replacing you in my life,”

“That’s nice, Bo,” you mumble, rubbing your nose into his chest. It’s warm and comforting, a nice contrast to the brisk wind in the autumn air. When he moves, you look up to see him grinning at you, a glint in his eyes. “What are you thinking?”

“We’re all alone and obviously my little bird needs to remember just who she belongs to,” he murmurs, rubbing his nose against yours before he quickly drops to his knees. It’s a sudden movement, his face in front of your skirt and then it’s under your skirt, a leg hooked over his shoulder. He’ll make sure you’re screaming his name before lunchtime is over.

At camp! You both knew each other by name for years and were on relatively good terms. You mostly knew about her because she knew a lot of gossip, she really did like to talk. (spoilers for the last olympian) She really changed after Silena's death and was appointed head of cabin, she was almost cynical for a good while there.

You two definitely did not get along at first, since you really disliked her arrogance, so it was a real enemies(ok probably more rivals) to lovers scenario, but I feel like she was comforted by that somehow???

Like she became strangely comfortable around you, you're first heart to heart together was when you were both alone and she kind of just poored her heart out it was wild.

But after that you were like ok she's not entirely horrible, she's doing her best to blah blah blah I'm not about to spoil my own hcs to you nonono.

Anyway, in summary you both knew each other since you were young but only grew closer years and years and years later.

Ngl I have thought through everything this woman has done since her introduction so literally everything she says/does is really reall delibrate. Looking at you both it's like looking at a delibrate and cunning character and a wet cat, and she loves the wet cat in you :)

Ma'am is an absolute lotta true crime(penelope scott) vibes type of gal. She probably has strong opinions about known and lesser know murderers. She gets so cute when talking about it cause she's like "!!! and you won't believe this!!!" and she's just becomes so comfortable and enthusiastic I love her.

Her reading books and then telling you all about her reviews of them is just!!! Also if you recommend a book to her she will make comments on it as she goes through it, kinda like she's reacting like to a tv show to you, if that makes sense, live tweeting or smth might sound more familiar. Anyway she loves sharing her theories, reviews and just talk about books ingeneral!!!

She would love to take you out shopping!! The type of person to show her love primarily through gift giving, so please let her buy you things. She would buy them behind your back otherwise, she's too stubborn to just give up without getting you the gift. She's so awkward about it though, in a way she only gets around you. You make her feel some typa way yk?

I feel like she would enjoy showing off her clothes and makeup to you and just sharing it with you. You met post Thor: Ragnorok Thor to be clear. Anyway you were traveling through New Asgard on a lil field trip when everyone got snapped back. Due to the commotion, things shut down for a while so you were stuck in New Asgard for a while.

Up to this point it was basically urban legend type stories you had learnt about Thor. I mean, a god from space? Sounds awfully convenient in this economy.

I just juked you out that's not when you first met. You both met on your second visit to New Asgard when you visited friends you had made during the blip incident.

So you both met, and Thor was still recovering from literally everything but he is recovering and he is gettig his found family yadayada.

You both have a minimum conversation as he says farewell to the mutual friend that you had came to meet and he's all like "farewell, fair maiden, until we meet again" on you swoon bc Chris Hemsworth amirite. ANYWAY you both do meet again after he comes back to visit after schenagians with the gotg gang(the movie hasnt come out idk what's going on)

He is the counter weight of clumsiness, because he is also clumsy and two negatives make a positive right? Anyway, what I'm saying is that when you're clumsy, you'll have some comically helpful scene where Thor catches it accidentally and then he just looks up like "I got you pretty lady ;)" expect it's a lot less smooth.

Golden Retriver!!! He can make you comfortable in 0.00001 seconds or less. He is such a supportive guy, even if he may have no idea what he's supporting because god moment, but he is here for you!!! He probably talks to Bruce about how he can learn stuff faster to catch up with what you're saying.

You'll be happy to find out that this man also hates horror movies, BUT he did read Twilight bc Tony convinced him it was supposed to be a masterpiece. Please give him better recommendations he is in too deep it isnt ok nor fun for anyone.

I'm going to be entirely honest, please be patient with him, your humor flies over his head half of the time. He's still adjusting, but one thing he IS familiar with is sarcasm. I think he finds sarcastic people really comforting and cool, and he thinks you're the most comforting and coolest of them all.

HANGING OUT

He likes to tell his lil stories about Asgard and Loki and yadayada mr.i-am-so-cool-and-accomplished. Either way please listen to him!! He is so excited to have someone listen to his stories with any level of enthusiasm. I feel like in Thor: Ragnorok and after he's grown to realise that people express interest differently and now he's aware of that with you!!! Also every other thing will remind him of a story so prepare for anecdotes.

He likes to bake. He likes to bake earth recipes along with the occasional surprise asgard time recipe!!! He doesn't measure to your skill though, as he sometimes gets impatient when baking alone and juts, yeah. But baking with you is like youre both in your own world and time doesnt exist <3

He is a summer boy who likes to frolick in sunflower fields and have picnics. Cottagecore lifestyle with no cottagecore style. what im trying to say is life is simple, baking, picnics, chickens, I don't know. On that note, I DO know that Thor does really like chickens.

Friends!! He is a sociable guy who likes to talk and be with people. You know his friends, he knows yourselfs. You both go out for dinners, go shopping and see movies together. He's definitely a blessing on anyone's social life I'm telling you.

Oh I never write in order, when I write in order I tend to abandon stuff- for Fight to Make it Up, I started off in the middle. I just get scene ideas and shuffle the order around!
