End Of 2024 Update
I haven’t really been on here for a long while, but here’s what happened:
-Dropped the religious friends because they were in a cult, I’m doing online church with other churches instead
-PUBLISHED MY SHORT STORY WHOOO
- started laser hair removal treatment so I won’t have to shave
-had an interview for a position at one of the schools but didn’t get the job
-I’m slowly growing my bank account
-I’ve made a new work friend
-started relearning to drive with my dad’s friend
-I wanted to go to a certain college football game because it was against a specific school but tickets were too expensive, and it turned out my dad’s cousin had tickets that he wasn’t going to use that also came with VIP access to food before the game so I did end up going (manifesting win!)
-I am the Philanthropy Advisor to my sorority but I haven’t really had any instruction so I haven’t done anything yet. I reached out to the contact to figure out what I’m supposed to do, as I wasn’t told anything about what I’m supposed to do, and was told she’ll get back to me after the holidays. I hope that I’ll actually get things figured out and I can get on top of the duties because I haven’t been doing anything for it and I’m bored out of my mind
-One of my celebrity crushes I’ve met before is in my city and my friends friend has met him twice. I really want to meet him too but haven’t had the chance to get up to the places he’d be
So yeah, there’s an update on my life. I’ve been kind of feeling negative and hopeless and angry, and have been trying to get into doing things for myself but it’s hard. It’s hard to feel like I’m deserving of the things I want when I try so hard and just can’t get them. I’ve also been experiencing jealousy over seeing other people’s lives be so much better than mine. I stopped therapy because my therapist isn’t understanding of my sexuality or gender identity and I don’t want to be a client for someone I can’t be myself around. I haven’t gotten to finding a new one yet.
I’ve been trying to force myself to get the hell off my phone, and do productive things, but it’s been difficult. I try. I have good days and then I fall back into the old habits. But I’m going to try. I’m going to try to be my ideal self and remind myself I deserve what I want and I can get it. I try to get things done right away (laundry, chores) and stuff and not wait around. I’m still working on forming good habits.

that girl journey, inconsistency edition
had two days in a row where my routine was interrupted by appointments, and today I was not feeling up to it, but in the name of trying to build the routine, I compromised.
Still did a few back stretches, even though I wasn't up for yoga
Still had a cup of water first thing
Gonna do some bullet journaling back in bed.
Giving myself the grace to be imperfect is already feeling easier than previous times that I've tried to go on a journey like this

Second Week of February
Monday February 10th
Work at junior high again
Had a vegan yogurt for a snack
Frozen chili mac meal for lunch and fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese for dinner, ice cream for dessert
Pilates class (1 hour)
Took a brief nap
Tuesday February 11th
Work at junior high
Listened to an anime opening, country song, and worship song on the way to work
Workout
Chores (Laundry)
Had frozen cauliflower macaroni and cheese meal for lunch and baked chicken, roasted carrots and brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes for dinner
Watched Christian podcast on singleness
Watched Jersey Shore
Another productive day where I barely had time to feel any sort of negative emotions
Wednesday February 12th
Work at junior high
Leftovers for lunch and pizza for dinner
Listened to Taylor Swift, Florida Georgia Line, Energy by Tyla Jane (the song that was trending on TikTok a while back), and Jordan Pruitt
Honestly I didn’t do much besides have a brief zoom meeting with the student I’m advising for my sorority volunteer position- I was so nervous to meet her but she was really nice
I felt exhausted after the meeting and took a nap, had dessert, and basically just went to bed
Tried to drink more water
Thursday February 13th
Work at junior high
Had frozen ravioli meal for lunch and Bagel Bites for dinner
I lost my credit card while out with my mom and I had to cancel it and order a new one
I got Starbucks while out but that was too much caffeine for me so I felt jittery and anxious
Honestly I made a mistake (multiple actually) today and realized I need to work harder to get myself to how I want to be, although I understand it’s okay to “fall off the wagon”
Friday February 14th
No work because school was canceled due to a snowstorm, and honestly wasted most of the day
Workout
Had a turkey and cheese sub and some cheez its for lunch
Drank a green juice
I helped make dinner (Salisbury steak over mashed potatoes) and cleaned the kitchen afterwards by myself
Did some laundry but didn’t fold it
Honestly today felt really off, maybe because I had actually really wanted to go to work, maybe because winter break started a day early, maybe because it’s Valentine’s Day and I’m still working on not getting the “ick” from thinking about people in relationships

The day went by pretty slow yet somehow also fast, I don’t know how to explain it
Saturday February 15th
Drank some more green juice
Did laundry
Got distracted by TikTok and Character AI
Made homemade macaroni and cheese for dinner, had another sub for lunch
Skincare (moisturizer)
Called my Grandpa to wish him a happy birthday
Chores (Laundry and cleaning dishes)
Watched a Christian podcast on emotions before I fell asleep
Sunday February 16th
Online church
Workout
Watched Jersey Shore
Chores (laundry)
Made dinner for myself (roasted veggies with tahini dressing)
Lots of intense mood swings today
