A zany, reckless immortal who brings companions on wild adventures and responds to impossible things by poking them with a stick? Perfect. And everyone knows she's secretly a huge geek anyway.

Halfway through Series One, they suspect they've made a mistake. Because Doctor Who is not only zany antics and aliens; it's also about the tragedy of immortality, of the loves and losses, and the fate of every companion.

Five minutes into The Doctor's Daughter, Henry tries to cut it off. Helen will not let him.

Does she enjoy the show? It's hard to say. She watches each episode with white knuckles, and more than once tears slip down her cheeks. But she keeps watching, all the same.

why do i keep seeing whole videos on advice for artfight from “veterans” or whatever. here’s all the advice you need:

you don’t need to draw every day

you don’t need to fully render every drawing, sketches still count and the person receiving it will still love it

you don’t need a fully polished ref sheet for every single character, having a basic one or even just a colour palette along with whatever other art you’ve done works fine in most cases

you don’t need to draw a fully rendered piece every single day do not burn yourself out or injure yourself for funny little internet points good lord
