So you've seen me talk about the state of my room before. With your guys's help when I opened commissions a few months ago I was able to replace some of the nasty furniture last time, but I couldn't fix the actual room. It's still a state.

It's gotten entirely out of my control. There's trash bags everywhere, mold, some of the bags that have used cat litter in it have ripped and spilled everywhere, mold mites, fruit flies, moldy food everywhere, the carpet is stained with all sorts, etc

I just want a complete fresh start for 2025. It's clear I cannot clean this by myself. I've had a new bed sitting downstairs for a year now that I can't set up cause my room is so bad.

It's clear I'm gonna Have to hire a professional to do it, but it's gonna cost so much money. I'm disabled - I get paid 1k a month in disability benefits, most of which goes to rent, groceries and cat supplies, so I legit just can't afford to pay a professional.

It's gotten this bad because I am practically bedridden - I have no energy to do anything ever and spend 24 hours a day in bed. Even my bed is full of garbage and moldly food, and even my mattress topper is moldy. I haven't showered in forever cause I don't see a point.

My hair is matted, I need a haircut. I need new clothes cause they're all either dirty or lost.

I've tried over and over again for a year now to get my room under control, but I NEED professional help. My brother / carer has tried helping me but he also struggled, cause he has similar energy issues as well as a weak stomach.

I've contacted multiple deep cleaners, and I haven't been given an estimate yet, so I can't quite say how much it'll be but it'll definitely be in the hundreds.

I genuinely don't think I can do commissions again. I'm sorry. I already have burnout from the comic. I don’t know what to do. (Don't worry, I'll finish the commissions I do have soon, but I think I'm closing them for a good while after.)

I have my Patreon, where I'm sketching as much of the story as possible (I'm 106 pages ahead) + the discord where I post script snippets and concept art and talk about future plans.

Sorry for this. I'm struggling recently. It was my birthday at the start of this month, and I told myself I'd get my room sorted for my birthday. I tried to do it myself, but after a couple hours I realized it was fruitless. I lost the energy entirely and just got back in bed. I'm so tired of living like this.

I'm not sure if commissions are open or not, or if you've done something like this before but can you do a story where reader is also really insecure and meets gyutaro? (He can be demon or human up to you). I think reader would be so different and doesn't feel attractive to due to flaws they have but end up feeling better when they end up with gyutaro who compliments them and spoils them a bit since he understands how they feel.

Gyutaro couldn't understand what was wrong with you.

It appeared that nothing was wrong with you at all, but you acted like something was wrong with you. And he just couldn't put his finger on it.

You've come into the convenience store he works at every couple of days. Most days you grab a coffee, some days you get snacks, and once a month you buy face cream.

The way you walked, spoke, and looked around nervously was confusing to him. You carry yourself as if you just want to hide. And he understands that, it's something he wishes he could do every day. But you're not like him.

In his eyes, you're a cute girl that looks to be around his age. Maybe a couple years younger.

Instead of wearing cute skirts and accessories like the other girls your age do, you wear baggy pants and hoodies. He doesn't dislike it, he actually admires how you wear what you want. But you don't seem confident in the clothes you wear. And the way that you look at the other girls is all too familiar to him. Envy.

He narrows his eyes as he watches you peruse the convenience store once again. Going to the beauty section. Has it been a month already?

With a sigh he slips his phone back into his pocket as you approach.

He doesn't greet you when you walk up to the register. But you're used to it. You've seen him enough times to know that he's cold towards every customer and not just you.

Putting the face cream on the counter, you instinctively reach into your purse.

"This shit doesn't work. You know that right?" He rasps, looking down at you with an indifferent expression.

"Wh-what?"

"This cream. It's bullshit. You should stop buying it," he frowns and takes the cream, putting it behind the register instead of scanning it for you.

"What do you mean? I use that stuff every day..." you mumble.

"A stupid cream isn't gonna make you feel prettier."

You feel tears welling up in your eyes as you hear his words. It's embarrassing and you feel humiliated being called out by a cute boy. With a sniffle you promptly turn to leave. But you don't get very far before you feel his calloused fingers wrapped around your wrist.

"You're a pretty girl, you don't need this shit. I know you feel self conscious cause you compare yourself to everyone else. I'm the same way. Look at the shit I have on my face!" He raises his voice slightly, then takes a deep breath to calm down before continuing, "Listen, I'm just tryna say I know how you feel... and you shouldn't spend your money on dumb products like this. You just gotta deal with it in that stupid little brain of yours."

He pokes your forehead with his finger. The way he is so blunt makes you smile a bit.

"I-I know... you're right," you wipe your tears, "It's just so hard when those other girls are so much prettier than me... all of them probably have boyfriends too. No guy would ever look twice at me."

"I did," he doesn't hesitate, "I stare at you every time you come in here. I think you're a very pretty girl."

Your face instantly turns red and you stare up at him in surprise.

"I get jealous too when I see all these dudes come in here with their perfect skin and expensive shoes. Pisses me off... probably have girlfriends too..." he lets go of your wrist and starts scratching his neck. "But maybe we could work on it together..? I wouldn't mind hangin' out with you sometime..."

"R-Really?" you say so quiet that he almost doesn't hear you. But he does, and he shyly nods and looks away as his cheeks turn pink.

"I'd love that," you say with a smile, "Thank you..."

You lean forward and hug him. A soft gasp escapes his lips from the sudden gesture, but he quickly hugs you back.

You barely know him but it feels so good to know that someone understands how you feel. And of course it's a plus that it just so happens to be the cute boy that works at your favorite convenience store.

Hi all, it's Link again. I hate to be asking for help yet again but unfortunately, we're gonna be shifting back to square one again. According to the shelter, we're coming up on the end of our stay and they've taken my father and myself off of the paid volunteer position, so we're left without any sources of income and virtually nowhere to go. I'm trying to talk with my counselor for other options and help but as of right now, we have no other option except to go back to a motel. We have a limited time, I'm assuming under a week due to how vague the wording was, so I'm hoping to get enough for a least a couple days so we have somewhere to possibly lay our heads after everything is said and done. Until something else comes through or we can find another shelter, depending on what happens.

So, I'm opening my commissions once again. I mainly draw fantasy type portraits/scenes surrounding Dragon Age, Baldurs Gate, Dungeons and Dragons, but I also draw different ocs from other fandoms or original stories, to furries and any kind of characters you can think of! :) the only things I don't draw at the moment is heavy gore, s/xual nudity and anything really taboo or pro ship. If you are unsure about a commission request though, feel free to ask and I'll confirm! :))

My turnaround time depending how things go can be 2-4 weeks for smaller commissions and 1-2 months for larger ones, but I'll try to update as frequently as possible! So uhm… the update on the cat situation is that the price of even just the various attempts at getting a diagnosis is going to be 1250€ and so far we also have more than 870€ to pay (for what the vets have done until now). My parents absolutely refuse to pay and I personally have around 300€ saved.

As things stand rn the cat will probably need to be put down in a while because I’m quite use once we bring her home she’ll start getting air in her stomach again (and I don’t think it’s possible for her to be home with the little tube thingy in).

I… I don’t know what to do. There are some even more personal details I can’t share that make the situation even worse in terms of my own mental state.

how it's going

I am delighted so far by the responses to the post about signing up to beta/cheer-read the solarpunk tallship bisexuals novel I've decided to really give a go this year-- if you missed it, this is the post-- I have gone through and added everyone who signed up so far and it's a lovely mix of names I know and names I don't, not so many people it'd be hard to keep track and not so few that I'm worried about burning somebody out or totally winding up relying on one poor reader to keep my sanity going. I am also always pumped to get a lurker to de-lurk and say hi, not that there's anything wrong with lurking, I've got a few spaces where I lurk because that's what I need from that space. But it's always nice to be able to like, relate to somebody, y'know?

Not that you can really talk a lot in a google doc. I admit a lot of what's kept me going on Witcher has been having various little Discord threads where I can paste in whatever line I'm smug about, or that I'm stuck on for workshopping, and having a conversation about it, and not having that (I have a thread going in a Witcher discord but since it's off-topic it's kind of... well, low-traffic). I don't know if it's feasible to make a new Discord so I probably won't. But.

Anyway I will at some point turn that form off, but it seems to have worked pretty well so far as a method for adding people specifically to the doc, and I will leave it open and keep checking it for a little longer if any of y'all reading this were on the fence about signing up. I just can't rattle around alone in that doc and still keep my momentum. I'm only up to chapter three or so and the main plot hasn't even started but there's thusfar been at least one really confusing action sequence and I've realized that I've got a serious case of zero visual information being conveyed, so that's been helpful. Even with only a couple of readers-- ha, even the last couple of hours before I started adding people to the doc it had already done a lot of its job because I started proofreading with an audience in mind, which in my case tends to improve readability, which is what I want.

Listen, there's a noble purpose in telling stories for their own sake to yourself, but the idea of telling a story so that others can understand it is important to and I value it highly. So. That's what this is about.

So I've got a few people poking around in there with me and I feel much better about life and have some hopes I might make it over the hump into a real plot now, LOL.

This is Estelle, Donatello, and Astra's youngest. She becomes a yokai model and a rather strong mage. She also has a lot of protection from Donnie. If you think he's gonna leave one of his babies alone with creepy molding executives, you're wrong.

I don't think she'd be one until she was an older teenager, as both parents know how sleazy that industry is.

She's pretty shy, kind, and quiet, but also very, very, very calculating and resourceful, as being dragon in the spotlight is pretty dangerous in my world, since Dragon parts are used a lot in magic items, options, etc.

May get a body guard in the future, but that's for another oc someone is open to have xD

"Hey, mi amor, we're about to head out, but I wanted to call you first." Auston's voice came over as somber: he was focused. There was intent in his voice. He set up his phone against the bed side table in the hotel room, grabbing the office chair behind him.

"Are we doing fit checks?" It had been a tradition of yours for every away game. Now that they were in the playoffs, it was crucial. He liked seeing you all pretty, you liked seeing him in formal attire.

"Obviously, whatchu rockin'?" He leaned forward in the chair, resting his elbows against his knees.

"So we went with something a little calmer today. A couple of the girls are coming over here, we're gonna crack open a bottle or two of wine and watch the game. The jersey is a one-of-a-kind game worn jersey given to me by a player of the Toronto Maple Leafs. I think his name is Auston? He spells it with an O, not an I, tryna be different, or something.

The jeans are a light-wash Lee's that I thrifted from my hometown. I am not wearing shoes since I will be inside, but in case I do need to go out, I will be rocking my blue and white Air Forces that I got custom-made." Auston tilted his head, not quite sure which ones you were talking about. You dipped out of camera and picked them up from underneath the island. You had commissioned casual shoes to wear for games and events from a guy you saw on tik tok. Auston had only seen them a handful of times.

"Ah, I forgot about those ones. Looking good."

"What are we working with?

"I ended up deciding on the tan one."

"How long did it take you to prep the shrimp?" You turned the camera around to face you again.

The door in Auston's room opened, "hey man, you ready to go?"

here's how neji's arc would've played out in #MY naruto cinematic universe. under the cut because this got so long 💀

hiashi would have taken that hit to protect neji. it would have been a full circle moment, if you will. hizashi died to protect hiashi and the village (i have Many Thoughts on hizashi's death and how it doesn't really make sense but that's for another day) and hiashi ultimately died to protect his nephew, in a way, he's also paying his brother back. i love literary parallels.

as his final words, hiashi declares that neji is to be the head of the clan, trusting that he'll lead the clan through major reform. it also serves as hiashi's redemption arc if you want to view it like that. fast forward to the war ending, neji and naruto manages to get someone who can remove the seal (maybe tenten considering that she's proficient in sealing jutsu), and gets it removed. but, every member of the clan has a new seal put on them that protects their eyes, no brain melting feature.

no cause the seal pisses me off so fucking bad. and the weird thing is that we don't really know much about it in the grand scheme of things. like we know about how it works, but how did it come to be? i do have a headcanon about this though.

the CBS was created during the warring states period, when everyone was at constant war with another. the hyuga were concerned with the secrets of their kekkei genkai being known to enemies, so the clan head at the time commissioned a member of the uzumaki clan to create a seal that would protect their eyes. hinata gets to live the quiet life that she's always wanted.

upon death, the seal will destroy their eyes and it did not have the brain melting ability. the side branch is like the milita, whereas the main branch didn’t fight, instead focusing more on politics. as a result, the members of the side branch get branded with the seal. the warring states period comes to an end as it does in canon.

while konoha is in its infancy, the second clan head—who became head while hashirama was hokage—is the one who starts twisting the seal in order to control the members of the side branch and ensure their obedience. by the time hiruzen becomes hokage (1st time), the seal turns into what it is in canon.

honestly there's not much we know about the hyuga clan. lots of plot holes and unanswered questions. it's really annoying because they're so interesting to me, but that's for another post.

October Flash-Fiction Writing Commissions

I don't have a flashy graphic for this, so instead picture a red dragon sitting at a cramped desk with a small pad of paper and a pencil.

Alright, I've talked myself into it. I'll be opening up commissions for flash-fiction stories (1k or 2.5k words only) for this October! If you want one feel free to fill out the form down below. I'll probably be closing this around/a day or two before October 1st!

A few important notes:

I'm currently doing college and it's hard! While the intent is to get these done during October it is entirely possible they might stretch out of the month, especially if I take a larger volume! I'll only take payment when your slot comes up, so if your financial situation changes, you don't want an out-of-season prompt, or you want to change your idea, don't hesitate to say so. That being said, if you want an out-of-season prompt anyway, feel free to ask! Sometimes you wanna be a reindeer for Halloween, I get it.

Obviously this is a place where I post a lot about furry transformation, BUT! Your story does not have to be transformation focused, or even about furries at all! I've got experience in all sorts of types of writing; feel free to ask after fanfic, realistic fiction, basically whatever you want! Just remember these are going to be largely SFW and short. If you're curious if I'll write about a specific thing just reach out and ask. :)

I am going to reiterate once again that these are flash fiction pieces so they will be short! I won't be doing an extensive multi-draft process for these. Smaller edits/changes can always be made, though! I do my absolute best to ensure that the story won't need any major rewrites (since at this size that would mean redoing just about the whole thing); if that happens, I will probably charge extra unless it's pretty explicitly my fault.

Normally I write much longer stories but I'm gonna be pretty strict on the word count here! (but also if I go over it then I'm not gonna charge extra lol)

My mom was diagnosed with renal insufficiency, she requires a lot of meds, hemodialysis, and a kidney transplant as soon as possible. So as you may know, that’s not cheap, so i want to contribute with something. And also i need some personal things for myself. Fic requirements: i’m down to write almost anything!! smut, fluff, angst, whatever you want, i’m not picky. And here is the list of the characters that i write for, along with the few topics that i avoid, please check it out before commissioning.

Oh yeah...

I did say that I was going to start posting about other things now that the keychain project is technically done~

I've got a bit of backlog, but I don't want to post it all at once. But here's what you can look forward to in these upcoming days:

A LOT of Chemicards backlog. I kinda started a game on the server where I color the sketches/lineart in different palettes, and everyone has to guess what character they're based on. They've won a couple of rounds, but they tend to struggle with my weeb-shit since most of the folks there don't really care for anime/manga~

Latest custom doll projects. I have 1 completed and 1 WIP. Long story short, a Daiso recently opened near me, and one of the most niche things they sell are materials for making dolls~ So, that's made engaging in this hobby a lot more accessible for me~ I'd love to eventually take some doll commissions over the summer, if that's something y'all'd be interested in.

My custom Tamagotchi On genes. This is something I recently started doing after being reminded of my Tamagotchi On, and finding the resources on making custom genes for it. So far, I've completed a Gaopowerroo and I'll upload him to the Ko-Fi shop for free eventually (I just need to make some shop graphics for it~) I also started a Mikugotchi, inspired by Miku Nano that was released a while ago. I dunno if I'm gonna finish it though, since I don't know how many people are actually interested in raising "human" characters, but here's a preview of what she's looking like right now:

I'll probably ask the Tamagotchi reddit for an interest check to see if they want Miku, or if I should make something else (because I also thought about modernizing some of the classic tamas that haven't survived into this generation, like Masktchi and/or Hanatchi, and those might be more appealing to the general audience~).

There might be a few surprises here and there, but that's what's on the menu for now~ I hope y'all'll like at least some of that stuff~

Jamil being too sexy for puritans to handle was definitely not on my 2k24 bingo card and yet here we are lol Shouldn’t be surprised about it though, the card is insane. Of course, the actual drama was about people acting allegedly inappropriately, but I don’t know what’s so inappropriate about looking at a sexy png with bedroom eyes and feeling like you want to give all of your possessions to that png. Sounds perfectly appropriate to me!

Jokes aside, I am very excited about this round of birthday cards, even though Jamil’s is going to be hard to beat…

I am ok with a lot of 3 people ships; usually the main rule is that characters in our ships don’t switch (tops stay tops and bottoms stay bottoms), and we tend to gravitate towards two tops/one bottom combinations, although exceptions are possible.

With this particular character combination, while I absolutely love Rook’s delusions and fantasies about having these two specific cakes and eating both of them at the same time, I don’t really like having Leona in any proximity to Vil much… To be fair, I wouldn’t say it’s an absolute no-no: a boy (Rook) can dream, I am just not super crazy about it I guess. I see the vision though 🤔
