If you like pizza rustica, this Easter Savory Pie Tart is a great way to change things up. It's great for Easter or any other special occasion because it has a flaky puff pastry crust and a rich, cheesy filling full of meats and herbs.
Ingredients: 1 sheet puff pastry. 6 eggs. 1 cup ricotta cheese. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/2 cup diced ham. 1/2 cup diced salami. 1/2 cup diced pepperoni. 1/2 cup diced provolone cheese. 1/4 cup chopped parsley. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. Line a tart pan with the puff pastry, trimming any excess. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, parsley, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture into the prepared tart pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the tart is set and golden brown. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
