Good news I made a new recipe this morning by just throwing random stuff in a pan again. Was obscenely pleased by how it turned out so I wanted to share it, amounts are estimated.
QUICHE RECIPE
Veggie mix
-1 yellow onion, diced
-6 sweet peppers of varying colors
-1 cup of kimchi, chopped
-2 pickles, minced
-1 linguiça sausage, boiled and chopped
-fresh basil, chopped
Egg mix
-4 eggs
-1/4 cup of grated sharp white cheddar
-lots of grated black pepper
-red pepper flakes
-little bit of chipotle chile powder
Add veggie mix to a cast iron and cook for 45ish minutes, then add 1 full head of fresh minced garlic and mix before pouring the egg mixture over the veggies. Cover and cook on low until the egg is set, then keep covered and cook on high for an additional 10 minutes to brown the onions at the bottom.

Peppery Pepper Quiche (Vegetarian)
Tumblr media
Colourful and fragrant with all sorts of peppers and chillies, this Peppery Pepper Quiche make a simple yet hearty dinner. Happy Thursday!
Ingredients (serves 4)
4 to 5 small green, red and yellow Bell Peppers
1 ½ tablespoon olive oil
a small onion
a large garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
½ teaspoon Piment d'Espelette or Cayenne Pepper
375 grams/13 ounces Pepper and Chilli Pastry
4 large eggs
¾ cup double cream
¼ cup semi-skimmed milk
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon Piment d'Espelette or Cayenne Pepper
Thoroughly rinse Bell Peppers under cold water.
Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cut Bell Peppers into thin slices, and add them to the skillet. Cook, shaking the pan often, about 3 minutes, until Bell Peppers start softening.
Peel and thinly slice onion. Stir into the skillet, and cook, 2 minutes more.
Add minced garlic. Cook, 1 minute.
Sprinkle with thyme and Piment d'Espelette, tossing well to coat. Cook, 1 minute more. Remove from heat, and let cool completely.
Preheat oven to 200°C/395°F.
Roll Pepper and Chilli Pastry out thinly onto a lightly floured surface. Fit into a buttered 26cm/10.25″ tart pan, letting the pastry overhang on the edges. Prick the base with a fork. Place a sheet of baking paper onto the Pepper and Chilli Pastry and fill with dried beans or rice. Blind bake the Pepper and Chilli Pastry crust  at 200°C/395°F, 10 minutes. Carefully remove the beans and baking paper, and bake another 5 minutes, at the same temperature. Remove from the oven. Let cool slightly before trimming the edges.
In a medium bowl, whisk eggs together with double cream. Whisk in milk, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika and Piment d'Espelette.
Arrange cooled Bell Pepper and onion mixture onto the tart crust. Pour egg and cream mixture evenly all over.
Place in the warm oven, and bake, at 200°C/395°F, 25 to 30 minutes, until cooked through and crust is beautifully golden brown.
Serve Peppery Pepper Quiche warm or cooled, with dressed lettuce.

No feelings are wrong feelings. You might be ashamed or afraid or feel any sort of way abt them, but they aren't wrong. I don't know whats happened, but I'm sorry you're having such a hard time, I wish I could help.
It will be alright again. Even if the eagle eats you your nutrients/energy will still get recycled back into the environment and you will live again, just differently. The metaphor that my being is not static in the ecosystem has always been comforting to me. Maybe it's useful as a framing device for you too? Sorry to be presumptuous
Fully incorrect there, stranger.
Feelings can absolutely be wrong. Gut reactions, momentary flitting thoughts, desires, ideas that just pop into your head, and everything else can be wrong. We are capable of thought, and it's our responsibility as sapient life to think about why we feel certain things and sometimes say to ourselves "Nope. I don't want or need this in my head," and do our level best to discard it accordingly.
Sometimes that's easier than others, but as a person who has lived a life full of mental illness, I have gotten pretty good at looking inwardly and saying to myself "hey, stop that nonsense," and getting back to making myself a couple lovely quiches.
