Kinn would use pet names because he is the type of dork who would find them genuinely romantic.
Kim would use pet names because he thinks it gets him a good grade in boyfriend, a normal and possible thing to want to achieve.
Vegas would use pet names because he is exerting ownership in ways deemed socially acceptable, but he has to be pretentious about it.

Hunter: Fuck it. Let’s go back to Kamino and adopt that kid.
Wrecker, Tech, and Echo: Adopt—? Yeah okay, we’ve done weirder shit.
Crosshair: With all due respect, which is none at this point, what the fuck is wrong with you

During the filming of the 1975 Doctor Who episode "Pyramids of Mars", Stargroves, Mick Jagger’s countryside mansion, was used as a key location. Permission was granted by Mick, though he was away at the time, with only his parents staying at the estate during production.

This is a little late, but I’m so excited for my May TBR!! Here’s what I’m planning to read for the month:
Bonus Action 4⭐️ {review}
Sunny Disposition -currently reading
The Sunshine Court -currently reading
Haikyu!! vol 2
Lunatic
Prince’s Gambit
Three Meant To Be
All The Feels
Cosmoknights vol 1
The two books I’m currently reading are so freaking good! I’m also pretty sure that The Sunshine Court is gonna be one of the most emotionally devastating books I’ll read all year.

Weird thing I always imagine. Idk if they’ve been invented in teyvat but let’s say they have so….rollie chair Dottore. Specifically if he’s taking care of fragile reader in his office, just cleaned their arm in preparation for needle, but wait that needle is over on his desk, that’s okay he’ll just wheelie over !! Idk just imagining him rolling from desk to desk to grab some papers and whatnot is so scientist/doctor coded
The only reason Dottore owns one of these rolling chairs is because you were the one who bought it in the first place (very much persuaded by Pantalone's luxurious one.) The Doctor prefers a regular ordinary chair, as that's what he's worked with his whole life and sees no reason to change, but that's also probably because he could care less as long as it doesn't break. You, however, are of the opinion that spinning chairs = fun. You replace his main chair with the rolling one. Dottore still doesn't care. He's much more in the habit of simply getting up whenever he needs something. You sit in his lap and try to push him to get it to roll but you're not strong enough for that of course. The mission is mostly unsuccessful. Mostly. He does sometimes unintentionally roll when the distance is short, and then just continues since he's already doing it. You find it very entertaining, and he does admit to the convenience. (Foxttore loves the chair the most. Lil shit refuses to get off it sometimes.)

This TOS poll has been in my drafts for awhile! I'll include the actual text of the speeches below the cut:
1— "Where No Man Has Gone Before"
KIRK: What will Mitchell learn in getting there? Will he know what to do with his power? Will he acquire the wisdom? DEHNER: Please go back while you still can. KIRK: Did you hear him joke about compassion? Above all else, a god needs compassion. [...] You were a psychiatrist once. You know the ugly, savage things we all keep buried, that none of us dare expose. But he'll dare. Who's to stop him? He doesn't need to care. Be a psychiatrist for one minute longer. What do you see happening to him? What's your prognosis, doctor? [...] Hang on to being a human for one minute longer.
MITCHELL: Morals are for men, not gods. KIRK: A god, but still driven by human frailty. [To Dehner] Do you like what you see? MITCHELL: Time to pray, captain. Pray to me. KIRK: To you? Not to both of you? MITCHELL: Pray that you die easily. KIRK: There'll only be one of you in the end. One jealous god, if all this makes a god—or is it making you something else? MITCHELL: Your last chance, Kirk. KIRK: [To Dehner again] Do you like what you see? Absolute power corrupting absolutely.
2— "Charlie X"
CHARLIE: What if you care for someone? What do you do? KIRK: You go slow. You be gentle. I mean, it's not a one-way street, you know, how you feel and that's all. It's how the girl feels, too. Don't press, Charlie. If the girl feels anything for you at all, you'll know it. Do you understand? CHARLIE: You don't think Janice—you—she could love me! KIRK: She's not the girl, Charlie. The years are wrong, for one thing, and there are other things. CHARLIE: She can. KIRK: No, Charlie. CHARLIE: She is. KIRK: No. CHARLIE: But if I did what you said! If I was gentle! KIRK: Charlie, there are a million things in this universe you can have and there are a million things you can't have. It's no fun facing that, but that's the way things are. CHARLIE: Then what am I going to do? KIRK: Hang on tight and survive. Everybody does. CHARLIE: You don't. KIRK: Everybody, Charlie. Me, too.
3— "The Corbomite Maneuver"
KIRK: Those of you who have served for long on this vessel have encountered alien lifeforms. You know the greatest danger facing us is ourselves, an irrational fear of the unknown. But there's no such thing as the unknown, only things temporarily hidden, temporarily not understood.
4— "The Conscience of the King"
KIRK: Are you sure? Are you sure you didn't act this role out in front of a captive audience whom you blasted out of existence without mercy? KODOS: I find your use of the word mercy strangely inappropriate, captain. Here you stand, the perfect symbol of our technical society. Mechanized, electronicized, and not very human. You've done away with humanity, the striving of man to achieve greatness through his own resources. KIRK: We've armed man with tools. The striving for greatness continues. But Kodos— KODOS: Kodos, whoever he was— KIRK: Or is. KODOS: Or is. Kodos made a decision of life and death. Some had to die that others might live. You're a man of decision, Captain. You ought to understand that. KIRK: All I understand is that four thousand people were needlessly butchered.
LENORE: Too late. Too late, captain. You are like your ship, powerful, and not human. There is no mercy in you. KIRK: If he is Kodos, then I've shown him more mercy than he deserves. And if he isn't, then we'll let you off at Benecia, and no harm done. LENORE: Captain Kirk. Who are you to say what harm was done? KIRK: Who do I have to be?
5— "Balance of Terror"
STILES: Give it to Spock. KIRK: I didn't quite get that, Mr. Stiles. STILES: Nothing, sir. KIRK [dragging a finger along the helm as he approaches Stiles, then tapping the weapons console]: Repeat it. STILES: I was suggesting that Mr. Spock could probably translate it [Romulan] for you, sir. KIRK [standing beside him without looking at him]: I assume you're complimenting Mr. Spock on his ability to decode. STILES: I'm not sure, sir. KIRK [suddenly seizing his chair]: Well, here's one thing you can be sure of, mister. Leave any bigotry in your quarters. There's no room for it on the bridge. Do I make myself clear?
6— "Tomorrow is Yesterday"
CREWWOMAN: Good morning, captain. KIRK: Morning. [He drags Captain Christopher along with him] Captain. CHRISTOPHER: A woman?! KIRK: A crewman.
7— "A Taste of Armageddon"
ANAN: You realize what you have done? KIRK: Yes, I do. I've given you back the horrors of war. The Vendikans now assume that you've broken your agreement and that you're preparing to wage real war with real weapons. They'll want do the same. Only the next attack they launch will do a lot more than count up numbers in a computer. They'll destroy cities, devastate your planet. You of course will want to retaliate. If I were you, I'd start making bombs. Yes, councilman, you have a real war on your hands. You can either wage it with real weapons, or you might consider an alternative. Put an end to it. Make peace.  ANAN: There can be no peace. Don't you see? We've admitted it to ourselves. We're a killer species. It's instinctive. It's the same with you. Your General Order Twenty Four. KIRK: All right. It's instinctive. But the instinct can be fought. We're human beings with the blood of a million savage years on our hands, but we can stop it. We can admit that we're killers, but we're not going to kill today. That's all it takes. Knowing that we won't kill today. Contact Vendikar. I think you'll find that they're just as terrified, appalled, horrified as you are, that they'll do anything to avoid the alternative I've given you. Peace or utter destruction. It's up to you.
8— "The City on the Edge of Forever"
EDITH: And you don't want to talk about it? Why? Did you do something wrong? Are you afraid of something? Whatever it is, let me help. KIRK: Let me help. A hundred years or so from now, I believe, a famous novelist will write a classic using that theme. He'll recommend those three words even over I love you. EDITH: Centuries from now? Who is he? Where does he come from—er, where will he come from? KIRK: Silly question. Want to hear a silly answer? EDITH: Yes. KIRK: A planet circling that far left star in Orion's belt.
9— "Who Mourns For Adonais?"
KIRK: We're the same. We share the same history, the same heritage, the same lives. We're tied together beyond any untying. Man or woman, it makes no difference. We're human. We couldn't escape from each other even if we wanted to. That's how you do it, lieutenant. By remembering who and what you are. A bit of flesh and blood afloat in a universe without end. The only thing that's truly yours is the rest of humanity. That's where our duty lies. Do you understand me? CAROLYN: Yes. Yes, I understand. He's calling me. KIRK: Lieutenant, you have your orders and your duty.
10— "Metamorphosis"
KIRK: Companion, do you love the man? COMPANION: I do not understand. KIRK: Is he important to you, more important than anything? Is he as though he were a part of you? COMPANION: He is part of me. The man must continue. KIRK: He will not continue. He will cease to exist. By your feeling for him, you are condemning him to an existence he will find unbearable.
COMPANION: You are wrong. The man is the center of all things. I care for him. KIRK: But you can't really love him. You haven't the slightest knowledge of love, the total union of two people. You are the Companion. He is the man. You are two different things. You can't join. You can't love. You may keep him here forever, but you will always be separate, apart from him.
MCCOY: What did you hope to gain by that, Jim? KIRK: Try to convince her of the hopelessness of it. Love sometimes expresses itself in sacrifice. I thought maybe if she loved him, she'd let him go.
11— "Catspaw"
KIRK: You have nothing like that where you come from? SYLVIA: Nothing. KIRK: Your people, when they come here— SYLVIA: They're like, like feathers in the wind without the transmuter. KIRK: [nuzzling her neck] Transmuter? SYLVIA: The source. You will learn. I will teach you later. Later. KIRK: Then it's a device. You do use tools. SYLVIA: It gives only form. You're teaching me substance. KIRK: You haven't changed your mind? You won't return home? SYLVIA: My home is here with you. A billion worlds of sensation to pick and choose. [They part and she reads his mind in horror] You are using me. You hold me in your arms and there is no fire in your mind! You're trying to deceive me! It's here, like words on a page. You are using me. KIRK: And why not? You've been using me and my crew.
12— "The Mark of Gideon"
KIRK: Then let your people learn about the devices to safely prevent conception. The Federation will provide anything you need. HODIN: But you see, the people of Gideon have always believed that life is sacred. That the love of life is the greatest gift. That is the one unshakable truth of Gideon. And this overwhelming love of life has developed our regenerative capacity and our great longevity. KIRK: And the great misery which you now face. HODIN: That is bitterly true, Captain. Nevertheless, we cannot deny the truth which shaped our evolution. We are incapable of destroying or interfering with the creation of that which we love so deeply. Life, in every form, from fetus to developed being. It is against our tradition, against our very nature. We simply could not do it. KIRK: Yet you can kill a young girl. HODIN: We're trying to re-adjust the life cycle of an entire civilization. KIRK: You're killing your own daughter. How can you do that?
