Seven Something Sentence Sunday

Here's a little something I tapped out today, it's meant to be part of a 5+1 fic I'm attempting and this was the first scene that my brain decided it wanted to try 😁

Definitely more than seven sentences, but I'm a rule breaker! 💪😤

Loki scrubs at his hair with the towel, feeling the rest of the cold water clinging to his skin sliding uncomfortably down the line of his spine. He'd already peeled his sopping wet shirt and tie off the moment they had stepped foot back in the locker rooms, hating the feeling of it clinging to his skin.

Ordinarily he would have dried himself before they'd returned from the timeline, but the sudden downpour had caught them all by surprise, and the timedoors were open and being stepped through before Loki had the chance to do much of anything.

With a sigh, he lets the towel slip down to lay around his shoulders, opening his locker and rummaging around for something clean and dry to put on.

Beside him there's a small thump, the mutterings of a ‘dammit’ and a similar sigh to his own. Loki smiles fondly as he listens to his friend struggle to get out of his armor, peeking around the open door of his locker with an amused grin.

“Having trouble?” He quips, prompting his partner to turn and glare at him. Mobius’ hair is still dripping wet, plastered to his frowning brow as he struggles against his rain soaked clothes. His own towel lays discarded on the nearby bench as he fumbles to reach for a buckle under his arm, clothing squeaking in the otherwise empty locker room. Loki chuckles as Mobius’ wet fingers slide uselessly over the clasp for the fourth time.

“Stop laughing and help me out, would'ya?” With a fake roll of his eyes, Loki steps up behind him with hands outstretched to assist. A smile still pulls at his lips and something warm and familiar settles in his chest, despite the cold chill of his still damp skin.

Mobius flirting like its a side quest.

He casually drops absolute devastation in the middle of a perfectly normal conversation and then continues on with his day.

Mobius Just slides in a “Y’know, I should put you in my case files under ‘divine mischief,’ since you seem to specialize in being all over me.” while sipping his coffee like it’s nothing.

He says the filthiest things like they’re just observations. No heated voice, no dramatic delivery, just a casual, “You’re real easy to rile up, huh? Wonder if that carries over in…other areas.” and Loki has to physically leave the room.

He’s so good at sneaking innuendos into normal conversations. And it’s never the obvious ones, it’s the subtle ones that take Loki an extra half-second to process.

Loki: If you think I’m just going to sit here and-

Mobius: Oh, I know you won’t just sit there, sweetheart. You’ve got too much energy for that. Don’t worry, I’ll put you to good use.

Loki: Loki.exe has stopped working

It drives Loki insane because Mobius isn’t even trying to seduce him. It’s just how he talks. He’s not leaning in dramatically. He’s not trying to be intense. He’s just sitting there, sipping coffee, making casual observations that happen to be the filthiest thing Loki has ever heard.

Seven-ish Sentence Sunday

I tapped out a couple sentences this morning so I’m just gonna toss them here. More of the President Loki/Mobius AU.

He’d let himself lose focus. And now…

Loki had agreed to the stupid mortal idea easier than he would have when he’d seen Mobius’ face alight with excitement. A good press opportunity, visiting a new bakery within the city to enjoy a slice of their social media famous pie. It’d tasted awful to him but Mobius had hummed in pleasure at his piece and so Loki put on his best fake smile and offered effusive praise for the establishment.

And he’d lost focus because all his focus had been on the sparkle in Mobius’ blue eyes and the whipped cream clinging to his moustache.

They’d been on the sidewalk, the Beast awaiting their return trip, and Loki was turned to Mobius to wipe the mess on his facial hair away before the cameras caught it.

He never heard the gunshots.

what i love about Loki in season 2 is that he does NOT have to wear brown anymore. It's not his color, he certainly looks good in it, but he is a black, green, and gold guy. He doesn't work at the TVA, he doesn't have to wear a uniform, he can wear whatever he wants now! So yes, he wears something that is more his style, but is nonetheless still brown. Why?

He matches with Mobius :D

Seven Sentence Sunday

Lokius. Book kink continued. Suggestive.

“Oh, yes,” Loki purred, stepping back a fraction. It wasn’t much but Mobius couldn’t say if he truly wanted space. The way the trickster’s eyes shimmered when he brought the book up into the small space between them felt electric. They tracked his tentative touch, how his fingers gently ran along the edge towards the joint. He let himself linger there, feeling sure Loki would enjoy the tease of circling the little open space. From the whimper he heard, Mobius knew he’d guessed correctly and did it again and again. By the time he finally dipped the tip inside, Loki had lost all composure entirely.

Bittersweet moment between sick Mobius and Loki

He found concerts for them to go to - a string quartet, an orchestra, and one time a small rock cover band just to mess with Loki. Each time, the music filled the room, leaving Mobius filled with awe and joy. Each time he looked over at Loki, he saw the god enamoured by the melodies. He was so beautiful and Mobius stared in disbelief that such a person loved him. That such a person would stay with him even at his worst. When Loki would glance back at him, he'd look away, his face heating at being caught but a grin plastered on his face. And when the concerts were finished and Mobius was left tired and aching from excitement of it all, they'd retire back to their home where Mobius would shed the clothing that had chafed against his sensitive skin, making it Loki's turn to stare. The concerts were some of his favourite new memories with Loki, a gift he was sure Loki would cherish when he was gone. It was the hours after the concerts where they were wrapped up in each other that he loved the most though.
