writing this was wild because i originally set out to write fem!lokius making out but then i decided they were watching unsolved mysteries and it turned into loki cussing out the cops. anyway, here's them about to kiss 🙂‍↕️

“Loki…” “Mmm?” Loki replied, a playful hum escaping her lips as she nuzzled closer to Mobius, her lips planting soft, lingering kisses against the delicate curve of her jaw. “You were the one that wanted to watch this,” Mobius sighed, a playful hint of exasperation in her voice as she instinctively tilted her head, granting Loki better access. As Loki’s warm breath caressed her neck, Mobius couldn’t help but shudder in delight, a soft laugh bubbling up as she felt the gentle pressure of another kiss against her jaw. “I did want to watch, but then the police frustrated me,” she pouted, a playful glint in her eyes as she shifted her weight, expertly manoeuvring them both until she was positioned comfortably on top of Mobius. “And you,” she added, her voice dropping to a sultry whisper, “are so much more interesting.” “Sweet talker,” Mobius teased, wrapping her arms around Loki’s neck and pulling her close to connect their lips in a languid kiss.

"Look," Mobius says, with what he would call remarkable patience. His hands remain on his hips instead of where they want to be, physically shaking some sense into this particular variant. "This isn't optional. You wear it or you don't leave this cell. Unless you wanna walk around in the jumpsuit 'n' collar combo all day. No skin off my nose if you do." Loki's baleful gaze moves from the stiff, starched button-down (as yet very much not buttoned-down) to Mobius, and it's full of barely restrained murder. "How has no one rebelled against such - such plebian homogeneity." "It's just a uniform. Nothing's plebian when there are no plebs or aristocrats," Mobius points out mildly. Loki looks briefly nonplussed, either at the novel idea of democracy or the fact that Mobius' vocabulary is more encompassing than expected.

Seven Sentence Sunday

Thank you for the tags @elodiah, @distracteddream, and @insomniaflarrow! Today I have a small portion of the continuation to my previously shared handwritten WIP 😊

He didn't go far before skidding to a stop in his tracks. Propped up against the wall right by the door was exactly what he'd been about to go looking for: a time stick, seeming far more welcoming than the device ever had looked to him before. Feeling his nerves ease (at least a little), Loki took a deep breath. "Okay," he said on the exhale. That was one problem solved. As he approached to pick it up, Loki noticed that the time stick was surrounded by strips of red tape stuck to the floor and walls around it, all marked with big, bold, black text saying, "DO NOT MOVE." Loki recognized it as Mobius' handwriting.
