Orderd this dress from Ti&To a little while ago and it arrived yesterday (though I didn't grab it from the mailbox until today since I was being lazy when I realized it arrived via notification last night lmao).

I knew it was going to be too long on Rhonwen, but I figured I'd take a shot anyway, and honestly, it does look terribly cute on her. I plopped her in some thick soled boots after snapping this picture, and that helped with the height a little bit. On top of that, the chunky boots + snazzy dress look is excellent haha.

I love that there was a whole scene just for Donna to basically go "Oh you think you can fright film at me and get somewhere?" and then proceed to bash one of the creepiest horror motifs to pieces, scaring all the other ones into running away from her forever. The Handmaiden is such a wild fucking movie because of the specific relationship between Hideko and her uncle. Like on the one hand, his obsession with owning and collecting beautiful and valuable things is thematically great, especially with how Hideko is turned into part of his collection, something to put on display for entertainment as if she's a doll instead of a human being.

On the other hand, it's just really hard trying to describe anything about her uncle without it sounding just absurd and not making any sense whatsoever lmao

That Roman Dress

I ended up liking precisely 2 characters from “Dr Who”.

One of them was doomed from the start, and the other seemed on the way to being written out from the moment she joined the main cast. Judging by the inevitable spoilers for s14, it’s probably not going to get much better.

Nevertheless, the purple dress from “The Fire of Pompeii” was gorgeous. For once, the Internet informs me a lot of people agree with me on this, but I still wanted to try my hand in making a replica an approximation for my collection.

The doll (which I bought solely because she was on huge sale and you can never have too many ball-jointed bodies lying around) turned out to be unexpectedly cute, and I’ve dressed way too many red-heads recently, so I’ve decided to leave her original appearance intact.

Also, yes, I know Pompeii was not in a desert, but where else was I supposed to get orange background without setting things on fire? :-P
