You know what, Akiza x Cherry, Primo x Yusei, Luna x Lester, Carly x Misty, and Jack x Kaz.
Leo also has a crush on Lester and is denying it. Lester knows Leo likes him, and he cares about Leo, but he loves Luna.
Crow and Bruno are happy to be single. Although they feel left out when the others are all out on dates so they go on Bro Dates. Or Play Dates, if you ask Jack.

Limiter Removal
Limiter Removal is one of those iconic Cyber Dragon deck cards that basically everyone knows about, so much so that I didn't realize it's actually used in other contexts in the anime as well. Because of the close association, though, a combo like this just felt inevitable, and now we finally have it! Part of me is almost surprised that it didn't end up being a separate (but related) card altogether, but it's great nonetheless. I really don't think my words will add much here. It's a cool alt art that feels like it's been a long time coming. I DO have a very specific comment to make, however. And that is... Well. You can absolutely kill me for saying this, but Cyber End Dragon's pose looks identical to the iconic He Man pose from Fabulous Secret Powers (perhaps better known as "HEHEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA").
Rating: 10/10, Cyber End Dragon says, "Hey. What's going on?"

Attack to @cyberdragoninfinity featuring her pizzaria AU version of Zone! You know what? I think he should commit tax fraud for the hell of it.
Here is a bonus drawing,
Tumblr media
@siromany and I affectionately refer to Zone in general as Peepaw kinnie and I think lucciano/lester would just call him peepaw kinnie to be annoying.

One thing that's been on my mind is how android are Aporia (and by extension the Tenors), Antinomy, and Paradox?
My personal take is that Antinomy is an android in a sense similar to that of Synths of Fallout 4 since he's able to eat and drink. Fully passes for human in every way, but there is evident cybernetics and robotics inside of him. Sorta Gen 3 synth but not at the same time. Since he was closest to Z-one, he got the most special treatment when getting his android body.
Aporia and the Tenors are your classic Androids that are fully cybernetic underneath the artificial skin and armor. They can eat and drink too, but the process is much more complicated and too scientifically for my puny dumbass brain to properly explain. (I HC Primo, despite what he says, really likes strawberries and rarely can be seen snacking on them when Lester and Jakob aren't in the same room as him. His mind is fucking BLOWN when one introduces him to toppings, especially whipped cream toppings.)
Paradox is also akin to Antinomy, being built similar to a Gen 3 synth, but with one key difference: since his particular mission was to go back in time and turn Pegasus into the highest quality Dragon Food and if it were successful would p much wipe him from existence a la his namesake, his body wasn't built to last as long as Antinomy's. So because of this, he usually needs maintenance at some point in my AUs where he lives, and that leads to a whole heap of shenanigans I won't go into right now.

Primo's favourite food is strawberries.
Strawberries are red...
Lester's hair is red...
Is this Primo showing a secret soft big brother side?

Why Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Post-Dark Signer Arc Deserves More Respect
Let's be real here WE DON'T WANT ANYMORE LIES ABOUT 5D'S
The Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Post-Dark Signer arc often gets an undeserved bad reputation compared to the more dramatic Dark Signer arc. However, it's important to recognize that the latter half of 5D's didn't "suck" but rather expanded the story's world, explored new themes, and deepened character development. Contrary to what some might say, the Post-Dark Signer arc of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's doesn’t just hold up—it surpasses many other Yu-Gi-Oh! arcs. In fact, it’s far superior to widely praised seasons like GX Seasons 3 and 4, Zexal II, or even newer entries like VRAINS, Sevens, and Go Rush. To take it a step further, it stands as a stronger narrative than classics like Battle City or Millennium World from the original series.
To make it clear, it wasn’t a production problem—it was either cult-like fan opinions or real issues that made people dislike it. It’s just that lazy people forget what every Yu-Gi-Oh! anime is known for.
For example, GX is often mentioned as being worse than 5D's because, when you look at it, GX relies too much on Judai (Jaden) to save the day. This makes it hard to understand what others mean when they praise it, especially since GX is the most experimental Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. Its production took place during a time when the internet wasn’t even mainstream.
In fact, GX came out 20 years ago and was praised back then, but why do people ignore the fact that it was more flawed than good? GX is full of filler and feels like a typical Saturday morning cartoon. Despite liking GX, I’ve never said it was my favorite.
Or take Zexal, for example—people dislike it because of its animation, but that’s just a bias they have. Did I mention that Zexal only exists because 5D’s busted its ass? Meanwhile, Zexal didn’t do much other than promote its flashy animation over the actual quality of the show.
During Season 3, 5D’s gave its characters the most justice, which upset some fans because it didn’t follow the same formula or try to market itself as a mainstream anime. In fact, 5D’s is the least controversial Yu-Gi-Oh! series when it comes to sexism and toxic masculinity. It broke the mold by being more grounded and contained rather than self-centered, unlike GX and Zexal, which alienated their audiences and did no justice to their characters.
5D’s introduced Yliaster, who are often criticized for being underutilized, though there’s a reason for this. Yliaster had more personality than the so-called Dark Signers, and the writers took the time to make characters like Placido and Lester likable. People don’t give them enough credit. Z-One, for instance, is one of the best antagonists in the franchise—a character with depth and purpose—unlike many other villains, who are either underdeveloped or just plain bad.
That said, 5D’s wasn’t perfect. It suffered from lazy writing at times, especially during both the first and second halves, which led to some missed opportunities.
Now, let’s talk about Zexal. Do Zexal fans ever admit that the show was mostly bad because it relied too much on its stellar animation instead of explaining its context? This is why so many 5D’s fans left the community. Those Zexal fanboys just couldn’t shut up about Zexal and its so-called acclaim and “influence” on the fandom.
To be clear, Zexal II was the most boring Yu-Gi-Oh! series. People tend to overlook this or refuse to see it for what it was. Zexal II was nothing but a satire of itself, and it never had the potential to fit into the modern era.
Hell, Zexal II was so regarded as a "S-tier" Yu-Gi-Oh! anime that it ended up getting a season split and became a total joke by the end. It had way too many villains, the plot went nowhere, and it was clear that Kazuki Takahashi’s writer, Shin Yoshida, was burned out from writing stories that were basically just satires of shounen tropes.
I don’t even want to get into all the reasons why Zexal failed—that’s a topic for another day.
Anyway, that is all I got to say for today.
