Im very very proud of this cardigan. It was a huge gamble for I was testing a new construction pattern, a new colorwork pattern on 1mm needles zD

I had to undo the collar several times, learned many new technique on the go… it was quite the adventure and then … it wasn’t fitting Rowen body well 💀💀💀

It fits Rin but the color don’t suits her at all (i had to swipe wig for the pics to work xD)

It’s still something I learned a lot from and it does look well finished mostly.

So all in all Im not disappointed of the 50 hours knitting and sewing I put into this. But i think for my next project I will tackle something less ambitious and risky tho xD

The reason I will probably never buy a fat doll is the clothes. Almost nothing is made for them, and pretty much nothing that I like. A few items like loose skirts can be wrangled into fitting, but that'll be hit or miss. I would have to redo my entire clothing collection. There's no patterns, no company outfits, no freelance seamstresses, nothing. I am totally on my own to draft and sew everything except for shoes. I would assume the shoes stay in the standard sizes, besides maybe high boots. Then the doll will fade into obscurity and finding any other owners/information to know what works will be difficult.

As much as I'm not a fan of DC, the pear sm@rt dolls did that very well. There's a good variety of clothes and free patterns instantly available from the company, and DC highlights some of the other shops.

Hey guys! We have to put more time and energy to our Happy Flexi pets project (it's about creating STL files of pets for 3d home printing), it's easier to work with in our current situation but we haven't given up with our main project - Walloya Morring - making ball-jointed dolls. Although making BJD pets we put on pause for a while but we're still working on BJD Granny Mice.

And in this post we'd like to show you some pics of Nora. It's a 30 cm doll, casted in polyurethane, Basic skin ton Makeup by Renaissance Dolls Wig by Zorina Doll Clothes by Julia Mokhova dress We've encountered with some challenges in Serbia about making dolls in a way we do it. Of course we're looking for ways to solve it and until that we have to work with some restrictions but we're working!

new clothes for the girls from cottonhoney (etsy)! i bought a dress and crochet dumpling bag for sina, a pair of pants for lottie, and a mystery bag :o

everything is so cute and the mystery bag included little bracelets, stickers, hair clips, and a penguin keychain ;v;

i’m excited to style everything :) here’s sina in the lemon dress and an outfit with the black and pink skirt (the spot in our apartment that has the best afternoon lighting is currently occupied by jetfire so he’s there too)

i’m not so sure i love the second outfit (the top doesn’t quite seem right and something else is off) but i think the idea of her and lottie sharing clothes and stuff is cute (the belt, bag, necklace and shoes are all lottie’s) 💕 i’ll have to put together an outfit for lottie using the same skirt and post them together haha

Rin <3 I ordered new eyes and wig for her! Pastel pink medium length wavy for her wig and golden eyes.

I wont get the eyes before next year I think but the wig might arrive next month, I hope? For now she's lovely ç_ç
