There was no shortage of robbery and murder in Hell. Moxxie moved through the dark streets of Pentagram City carefully, very much aware that he was at the bottom of the food chain here - at least it would appear so. He had enough firepower on him to make sure he'd be a difficult kill if it came to that.
It was nothing short of an inconvenience when the clients wanted a 'discreet' meeting on site. But this one had been fairly undramatic. He'd taken their details and already had some ideas of how he'd carry out his first solo mission.
The sudden crack of a gunshot split the silence and he crouched down in the shadows, keeping completely still as the seconds ticked by - frowning at the unexpected sounds. Instead of a rush of escalating sounds and the victim's cut off shriek, there was the scatter of noises from demons fleeing. From the location, he estimated them to be the shooter(s?), but that didn't make any sense... curious now, he crept closer, wanting a peek at whatever they felled that still scared them enough to-
"Oh crumbs!"
This had to be the Radio Demon. Infamous, terrible. He recognized him from the blood-soaked stories whispered around Hell, if nothing else. He glanced around and seeing no signs of armed stragglers, he lowered his gun and took a hesitant step closer. Even in his wounded state, there was no question that the Overlord could kill him from where he laid on the ground. Probably.
"Sir? Do you need assistance?"
He took another step closer, keeping an eye on the red-clad figure as well as their surroundings. They weren't that far from the hidden portal Loona had made to HQ. And the others were either on a mission, or in Loona's case at a party, so he could theoretically patch up an injured person in peace without stirring up too much panic.

for @moxxietude, because these two never have misadventures when they head off on missions together, right? they will definitely be fine.
Not Hell--
This wasn't Hell, but it might be the next worst thing. The hit was done, they'd sent some shitbag straight down and earned their pay, but Loona hadn't opened the portal to fetch them home yet. Which was fine. Really. Probably, anyway. Maybe? Definitely fine. Still, this wasn't even a town, much less a city. Cities were great. The denser they were, the dirtier they were, the less anybody ever looked over at a couple of imps slinking along. Nobody cared about gunshots or shouts in dense cities, but here?
This place was awful. They'd had to make the hit look like an accident. Thankfully, the law enforcement officers who were called up bought it, and nobody really seemed that perturbed, but it still rankled the pride. They were assassins, damn it. Not accidents.
Yeah, this place was the worst.
According to the sign, this little cluster of a few dozen cabins and chalets, up on the top of a mountain, was called Paradise Idylls. There were a few dozen RVs all neatly parked together like big fat white parasites, children running around in the bright sunshine. The smell of meat being cheerfully grilled with too much lighter fluid and not enough seasoning, the barking of a few happy dogs, splashes from a little pool...
A tiny mountain resort, high up in the pines, with just one long, winding dirt road leading in or out, probably hours from real civilization. A summer heatwave, a forest dry as tinder.
Back twitching under his jacket, feeling like at any moment someone was going to find them and probably use bear spray on them, Blitzo hunched down next to Moxxie in the relatively cool confines of a Facilities shed. As long as no maintenance crew came, they'd be fine in here. And if they did... Eh, there were some barrels, some tarps. Surely the two of them could hide--or Moxxie could, anyway. He was sneaky as fuck when he needed to be.
"So." He picked up a can of spray paint and started tossing it from hand to hand. "She'll definitely get us out of here any time now. But want to play a game? Truth or Dare, maybe? Kill the next few minutes?"
The next few minutes. As if they hadn't already been here for literal hours, and might be here for hours longer yet.
#moxxietude#blitzo doesn't actually mind being stuck here with him#he is just cranky and dumb#but he trusts Moxxie way more than he wants to admit#immediate rescue professionals

what i want out of helluva boss?
for Stolas to acknowledge any of the significant people in Blitz’s life. like he supposedly has strong feelings for him yet does he know the names of anyone in IMP? does he know Luna’s name?? how does he feel about Blitz’s obsession with Moxxie and Millie’s relationship??? like we literally know he’s aware of these things; he’s met Moxxie and Millie and Luna multiple times, he seems to know who all of them are, he even was dragged by Blitz to be a plus one to his lil spy session for Moxxie and Millie’s anniversary. he must have thoughts on this, and yet i feel like he never interacts with them. which feels significant bc if you like this guy so much you’re certainly not even trying to get to know the parts of his life that aren’t even a secret!! even fucking Verosika, she was also there that night and that wasn’t addressed.
like sure i wonder how Stolas would feel about Blitz’s relationship to Fizz or even his sister but that all makes sense for him to not know about bc Blitz goes to extreme lengths to not talk about them. but cmon man not his daughter? not his best friend?? shaking my head.
that and real Millie development but that’s a given
#i actually like the ship#it’s probably the ship i’m rooting for the most in vizzie’s universe#which is why i want this addressed so badly#i think the other reason it rubs me the wrong way#is that it feels like a class thing#like he’s sort of blind to it when it comes to blitz bc he has feelings for him#but he just sort of ignores moxxie and millie like they’re any other imp#which they’re not…#i would think he’d want to talk to them bc they’re his real ticket to learning about blitz#i want to believe stolas is sorta above the classist mindset but he’s sure not making a great case for himself#how many times has he literally been in the same scene as the imp crew and never once has he actually spoken to them#beyond maybe asking a question#again does he even know their names#i got so excited when i realized that moxxie and millie were going to be the ones to rescue him#and yet they still barely interacted#we’re sitting on a gold mine of fun interactions#!!!#helluva boss#txt#stolitz

I’m crying for how much Blitzø has done for everyone he loves in his life and how he doesn’t see it himself.
He rescued Moxxie from jail and from an abusive father, he gave Millie a life, a purpose and her husband. He gave Loona a loving home and a father. He gave Stolas autonomy and unbeknownst, his love.
He cares so much for everyone in his life and I just hope that one day he realizes how loved he is in return.

I'm sorry but I genuinely can't understand how people can look at Stolitz and Catradora and think these ships are healthy in any way, shape or form.
Stolas r*ped Blitzø. No, consent given in a life-or-death situation doesn't count
Stolas is racist towards imps, and this didn't change even when he "fell in love" with Blitzø
Stolas doesn't appreciate or respect Moxxie and Millie in the slightest (and was disappointed that his "Prince Charming" wasn't the one to rescue him)
He looks down on Blitzø and calls him things like "impish little plaything" and "his big dicked Blitzy" and doesn't stop treating him like shit even when Blitzø says loud and clear that he hates being talked down on like this (DUH)
The only thing Stolas knows about Blitzø is that he hates books and the only thing Blitzø knows about Stolas is that he's a boring bookworm. Keep in mind, the two figured this out about each other while they were kids, 25 YEARS AGO, after Blitzø was bought so that he could be Stolas' "friend" for ONE DAY
Stolas doesn't love Blitzø for Blitzø. Stolas loves the *idea* of Blitzø. The bird man wants to live a romance that is just like the romances in his cheesy novels. He wants to ride into the sunset with his one true love. He wants grand romantic gestures. He wants his "Prince Charming". Except, Blitzø isn't the type of guy for such sappy displays of affection, he never was. Especially combined with his trauma. And as soon as that other imp guy asked him to dance, Stolas not only accepted the offer, but Blitzø was no longer on his mind. And no, I don't think being drunk is proof that Stolas didn't mean what he had told Blitzø. Drunk people find it easier to say what's really on their mind after all
Blitzø fell in love with his abuser. This makes sense, actually. The guy always pushed everyone away and never got to experience true love, and now that he has the chance to be "wanted," even if the "relationship" is toxic, he finds it hard to let it go
As for Catradora, the things I wanna say about this ship have already been said throughout the years, but it all boils down to these things:
Catra mentally, emotionally and physically abused Adora
Catra had no problem ending the whole entire universe if it meant she'd finally be better than Adora
Catra was a war criminal and a fascist
Catra was responsible for what happened to Glimmer's mom and never apologized, let alone faced consequences
Their relationship was toxic even when they were kids
They were both raised by Shadow Weaver and were the only ones in the Horde who saw her as a mother figure, thus making the ship straight up incest, with even the official source material calling them sisters (adoptive siblings ARE REAL SIBLINGS!!!)
Catra got exactly what she wanted in the end (the girl she's always been obsessed with and dependent on) and, once again, faced 0 consequences for her actions
The show (and C//A stans) fetishizes abuse. As a SA survivor, I felt physically sick during the final episode, where the abuser ends up with her victim/sister and they kiss
In short, these ships are disgusting and the lgbt community deserves better representation

For a moment, Moxxie starts to think about what he does know about truth serums. His father hadn't really used them that much, preferring the…..old-fashioned way of getting information out of people, something that had never sat right with Moxxie, even when he was involved in the family business. It was highly likely that, if he'd stayed, he would have ended up doing more research on the subject, to offer up a possible alternative to torture. After all, like he'd told the human agents, people tended to say whatever they thought their captors wanted to hear to put an end to the pain: it definitely wasn't an entirely reliable way to get information out of someone.
But going down that particular train of thought is playing a dangerous game, especially with Blitz watching him as closely as he is. That was something Moxxie didn't want to touch, as much as he could avoid it. Though he supposed it was harder to just…..completely ignore, at this point; he was still gonna do his best to talk and think about his father and that whole part of his life as little as possible.
There was a reason he put way more weight on his mother's background, on the fact that he was born in Wrath, even though most of his formative years had been spent in Greed.
Moxxie's prepared to slump a little, ready for the teasing about how he'd been prepared to infodump about something he doesn't know a lot about. But instead, Blitz's words are a weird sort of encouragement, telling him to lead with his best foot forward, something that Moxxie had been trying to be better about.
Unless someone actively asked him about something he was really interested in; he almost always jumped into those conversations without thinking, and it was only after the other person involved finally managed to get his attention again that he realized he'd been going on at length about barrel density when he'd been asked about scopes. He was trying to be more aware of when he jumped right into overexplaining something he hadn't been asked about, working to keep on task and focused instead.
Blitz's attention is fixed on him, more intent than Moxxie had seen him in a while, outside the field, at least. He's not entirely certain what to do with Blitz's undivided attention, though when he speaks again, it gives him more of an idea of what he actually wants.
❝ Alright, c'mon, tell me the side effects you've been having. And don't bullshit me, I'm bullshit proof. I want details. ❞
A little frown slips onto Moxxie's face at that, as he takes a moment to consider what could be considered a side effect. (He also knew there was more to why Blitz was asking than just being interested in what was going on with him, but they'd get to that later.)
"Well, my dreams have been a lot more….," he trails off for a moment, frown deepening. "Musical? Fucked up? Linear?" All of the above, really. "I don't usually remember most of my dreams, but these….; I could probably write down the music." Oh, maybe he should try that sometime; his subconscious might be onto something, as far as that went.
He glances over to Blitz, watching him as he talks, and he's pretty sure he knows at least some of why he'd asked. You don't just bring that sort of thing up out of the blue unless there was a reason for it.
"My dreams don't always make a lot of sense, but they have since then. Like…., it's not just snippets and images that any therapist would tell you to write down in a dream journal, but….full scenes." He pauses for a moment to take a breath, smoothing down the front of his jacket without thinking about it, something he frequently does when he's nervous or lost in thought.
"Sometimes….it feels more like memories than actual dreams," Moxxie muses out loud. "At least until the nightmares start." While there hadn't been a whole lot of that when they'd been in the human's facility, they'd started not long after getting home. Moxxie was no stranger to nightmares, though there have been far fewer of them in the past couple of years. He'd been hoping that he might have finally left them behind, but it seemed that that was unfortunately not the case.
Moxxie glances over at Blitz, just watching him as he takes in what he'd been telling him.
"What side effects have you been having, sir?" While he didn't know that that was why Blitz had asked, he had a sneaking suspicion that he wasn't the only one having some rougher nights. And maybe if he caught him off-guard, Moxxie could get Blitz to actually admit he was struggling, too. As unlikely as that event might be; Blitz was fucking good when it came to people, much better than Moxxie was. But he was certainly gonna try to get some sort of answers out of him.
Blitz could just drop it here - this may not technically be even close to the doors he's nailed closed, but it's still a door, and any door can be dangerous. He's fairly sure he can get some distance between them again, if he's annoying enough - Moxxie'll probably drop it in frustration. And it's so tempting, backing down and slinking back into his corner - being loud enough so people don't actually look and see.
Except for this whole, trying to be better thing. Fuck, it's exhausting and he hasn't even said anything yet.
Or maybe that's just the sleepless headache.
In typical Moxxie fashion, his go-to is facts about truth serum and Blitz is that much more tempted to goad him onto the path of research and back the fuck out of this. Be better, be good, don't run. Okay, hell - maybe some research into that particular field might even be useful one day, right ? He does perk up at the quick, glancing mention of side effects, and is instinctively side stepping the question being turned on him with the ease that comes from years of practice.
❝ For the record, side effects are a much better opener than fuckin' encyclopedia entries, Moxx. Lead with your best foot forward. ❞
Blitz is leaning forward now, gaze sharp and searching. He has always known that Moxxie is more capable than he ever gives himself credit for - at least, in the things that matter. He'll go on and on about his taste in music or his elaborate plans, but it's his instincts and his eye that Blitz had picked out from the very beginning - his ability to see things for what they are and roll with them in a way that makes working together in the field absolutely seamless.
Point being: he's a good fuckin' employee. But he is also the closest thing Blitz has to a best friend, if he lets himself think that way. When he's not such a fuckin' coward that he's not consumed with the thoughts of ruining everyone's lives. And that's the part he needs to build on.
❝ Alright, c'mon, tell me the side effects you've been having. And don't bullshit me, I'm bullshit proof. I want details. ❞

Hell's Belles and who Millie is in her relationships:
Hell’s Belles is light and cute, and the reaction I saw the most was people getting all heart-eyed over Sallie Mae, and she deserved all the love. But I think the short also gives us some real insights into Millie that people tend to overlook. And I think that’s relevant with Ghostfuckers coming up, where presumably (hopefully!) we'll learn more about her internal world and her friendship with Blitz.
So what new information did we learn about our girl?
For one thing, it's clear that Millie and Sallie Mae are very close in age and their brothers are significantly younger.
They ran things around the farm together and hung out all the time, probably throughout their childhoods. But I also have a hunch that Millie is the oldest- it’s just a hunch- no proof.
I think it’s because Sallie is so shaken up by her absence . . .
And also because of what we know about Millie's relationship with Moxxie. During most of the M&M centric arcs, she plays a supportive or protective role, rescuing her husband when he's in danger, comforting him when he's upset, and yes, giving him a reality check when he needs it.
In Unhappy Campers, we see that Millie believes her needs (to be supported in turn and celebrated for being her fantastic self) are neglected. A lot of youtube reactors were surprised, but I think it makes perfect sense.
This is a character with "eldest daughter syndrome," which means that she was raised to take on responsibility for others. She instinctively puts herself second and rarely thinks about it, until she realizes that her own needs are being neglected.
I think that even if Millie is the second-oldest, this still stands- I think she was the caretaker sibling, the most supportive, empathetic, and self-assured one. This is a good thing. Maybe she supported Sallie Mae through her transition. Maybe she made sure that the younger kids were taken care of and that all of the work around the farm was complete. I picture her doing all of this with the enthusiasm and joy that she brings to . . . you know . . . slaughtering dozens of enemies in one go.
I think we're seeing growth in Millie with regard to prioritizing her own needs in her relationships, even if a lot of that growth is happening in the background. In Hell's Belles, she tells Sallie Mae that their relationship is a priority without taking on all of the responsibility for that relationship herself.
So . . . we don't know much about how the friendship between Millie and Blitz started, but here's what I think based on what we know about their characters individually and the interactions we've seen.
Millie is super easygoing around Blitz and pretty tolerant of his quirky *cough- super invasive* behavior. She even plays into/encourages his sillier antics pretty often, and just generally seems to trust him as a leader/friend, and he admires her work in turn.
I think there's more to it. I think she's seen Blitz in some really dark places- did they meet in their early assassin days? Like, when Blitz was right out of his relationship with Verosika and reinventing himself?
I think that from what we know about the role Millie plays in her relationships, she was probably supportive at a time when Blitz really needed someone to be. (As for how this works with the timeline of when they each met Moxxie, maybe we'll find out!)
Anyway, I'm excited for Ghostfuckers and wish it weren't so far away. I like that it looks like there'll be some focus on Millie, and I hope we see her strengths on display (because that's always great) but also see some more of her depth. I don't think it's bad at all for her to be a caretaking/supportive friend, sister, and partner. But I guess my main message is- even though those are great things about her, she's more than that, so let's not overlook this awesome lady.

ppl point out Blitzo literally apologized to Stolas in Ozzie's (when he shouldn't have had to) when Stolas accused him of never feeling sorry but I just noticed
that wasn't the only time
Blitzo literally says 'I'm sorry' when he says he can't go rescue Stolas from Striker because he's busy.
so that's twice he apologized and Stolas somehow forgot
and if you count non-Stolas related apologies he also apologizes very loudly and sincerely to Loona at the end of Seeing Stars.
Stolas acting like Blitzo is this prideful guy who never apologizes and it's a major flaw of his is just him rewriting reality, yet again. it comes off like he only believes it because Blitzo wouldn't cave immediately and apologize a second time for expressing how Stolas made him feel (or in Stolas' head, for refusing to believe Stolas genuinely liked him despite it being entirely Stolas' fault that Blitzo has no good reason to believe that)
honestly it really feels like the classic abuser strategy of projection where the perp accuses the victim of doing something they literally just did to their victim
the perfect moment for Stolas to apologize would have been at the end of full moon - a genuine apology, not that weaselly-words 'I'll do everything but say it's my fault for making the deal' speech he did earlier. but he doesn't and in the very next episode accuses Blitzo of being the one who is incapable of apologizing
yucky abuse dynamics asides, idk why we're expected to believe Stol1tz will last longer than five minutes when one party is comically incapable of self-reflection or sincere regret and the other party is being manipulated into apologizing just for expressing their feelings
🤕 except it’s the writer herself who keeps altering past events to make her favourite character look better. So she creates a new character flaw in Blitzø who has actually apologised more than any in the character in the show. 7 times in the series.
1. Sorry I (x) your husband - to Stella (weird but it counts)
2. In truth seekers when he vowed to be a better friend to moxxie and reminded him his value, and to use his actual name. I count that.
3. I can’t do it tonight alright, I’m sorry. - to stolas
4. Loona my sweet baby girl I’m so sorry I’ll never replace you no matter what.
5. Aw shit stolas i cant today alright I’m sorry I’m literally on my way to take Loona for her very important S.H.O.T.
6. I’m sorry Fizz. I’m so sorry you got so hurt, I’m sorry for what you’ve lost and I know I can never make that right. But You have no idea what I lost in that fire. I mean it’s all my fault, I’d hate me too. I do hate me.
7. Stolas, wait, I’m sorry. - stolas kicked him out
8. Him berating himself and verbally lifting stolas up as amazing, so that he stops crying and stops drinking. Shows remorse also. None of which stolas deserved.
Stolas has once. To via. Unless you count a polite ones in those simpering texts of his. In seeing stars via doesn’t let him because she blames herself entirely due to Loonas words. I struggle to count the “sorry it’s a bad time yet again Blitzy but I’m in a sitch” because he’s asking for something. So if you stretch, that’s maybe 3.
The sad part is Blitzø internalises all of stolas’ cruelty and insults and believes them to be true. Blitzø already has an internal voice of hate and criticism; stolas is his externalised self hatred. Because why wouldn’t he believe the prince, stolas is the one dressed so nicely, singing so nicely with pretty props, crying and surrounded by people crying with him, who all hate Blitzø, so stolas must be right.
Idc, Blitzø knew stolas was in trouble and reacted accurately. He had other things to do and Millie offered to help him. He was going to go over there. It’s weird that Viv wrote him to say “he can get hurt?” “I didnt think he was capable of-” and this was all she could come up with to make stolas all wounded and all betrayed. I’m tired of Blitzø throwing himself in the line of fire all the time. Stolas encourages his worst instincts. It’s not his job to protect stolas. But he did anyway. Even if he had saved him Viv would say “but it’s his fault striker even came back at all because reasons” I think it’s Stella’s fault actually but maybe that’s just me? He’s angrier at blitzø than Stella because he didn’t fulfil his damsel fantasy?
I think vivzie doesn’t account for fans who aren’t knee deep in stolitz Twitter, Instagram, ao3, r34, tiktok etc. Those fans have the romance in their heads the show doesn’t need to even write it. I’m guessing their dynamic will end up as Stolas replacing Loona. Blitzø allows him to abuse him because he feels guilt and sympathy, he wants there to be love between them. The relationship is based on this feeling of remorse and self hate, and pity for how lonely and hurt stolas is.

IMPlying
Season finale was, fine.
What was expected really.
Can't say I didn't roll my eyes at Stolas being gloomy and ungrateful as others make efforts for him, particularly Blitzø but yet again all of IMP come to his rescue and there's not a shred of respect for the danger they put themselves in.
He had a massive nerve throwing down his notebook of 'fantasies' and trashing the office before charging off to see his daughter as if foregoing Blitzø and the modest little life he lives, after all this, forcing his way into Blitzø reality in the first place. All of this seems to imply passive blame.
This ofcourse happened while he was filling in for Loona as receptionist while the rest worked. I appreciate that we went back to work and we meet a dinner with a job request and there's a good joke that the request was to take out her husband who left her for a man resulting in Stolas having his drama shoved in his face.
It would have been good to spend a little more time with the sinner to see that she was in the wrong and for the moral high ground of IMP to be questioned more? Way too dismissive.
For all we know that husband could have been responsible for his wife becoming a sinner if you know what I mean, we don't know what happened to her.
Blitzø and Moxxie having a moment of shared understanding of why this isn't a good job to take on could look like a throwback to season one murder family but them no, it was all about Blitzø seeing himself and Stolas in two men with their children. What if this man had left his wife for another woman, would he be less empathetic? Ultimately nothing will change, if we see them at work in season 3 or a short, what are the chances that they include a clause to not do families or interfere in relationships? How could they vet?
We still don't know how sinners pay.
Also they're working on a holiday and missing out on a paid job because it's too close to home, even though Loona showed empathy to Blitzø and was willing to take in the job herself, which leads on to another thing...
More tell not show
Loona actually wanted to get out the office and do a job with the team.
Since when?
It really would have took two seconds once or twice in previous episodes to have her complaining about being stuck at the desk while they go out, maybe even reminding them that she has a hunan disguise, maybe then we could have found out when and how she learnt such magic and since when did she make friends? Her friends are very cute btw but when did this happen? Bee's sham of a party?
Seeing as she is supposed to be like a moody teen who us slowly growing up and learning to appreciate her dad, complaining more could have served as a reminder that there have been times where she could have had more responsibility. These recent episodes have had a habit of telling us new things out of nowhere after all this time.
Who has been consistent
I read tonnes of comments and the dislike for Octavia is astounding.
What did she do wrong?
She actually did everything right.
She saw for herself that her mother and uncle were enjoying Stolas's downfall, she wondered around her home and found her dad's pills, she came to the correct conclusion that he was always unhappy, didn't like Stella and was persevering for her, what's wrong with this, it's the truth.
He did go on to leave following his fling which he had been enjoying up until recently and we all saw him thirsting over Blitzø or arguing with Stella over quality time with his daughter on the few occasions we have seen her.
Furthermore she rescued Stolas and IMP.
And she didn't blame Blitzø for any of this.
I appreciate that she made a decision for herself and I'm amazed at the massive lack of compassion there is for her.
Her song sucked.
Also what was the confusing dialogue of Stolas trying to call for a month when we saw that he suddenly remembered that he had to talk with Octavia, who has a mobile and was seen with her phone alone, this was after Stella discouraged her from answering it, it wasn't ever confiscated?
And to not be forgotten for being stable
Why did the Millie pregnancy thing have to be so weird, miserable and the clifhanger like she was hiding something?
We watch her casually not get beaten down when it comes to being behind on the bills.
We see the teams lives in danger constantly.
We have watched her admit to liking attention.
We have seen how family oriented she is and dispite her family having no respect for her husband, she remains close with them and has both in her life.
Moxxie and Millie are constantly being pushed as the wholesome loved up couple and yes a pregnancy is a big deal that will change things but this maried couple are supposed to be kinky af and massively supportive of one another, so why was this so much more dramatic than nervousness? Should it not be a bigger deal that this character would seem gloomy? We heard none of Millie's conversation with her only friend sister.
We watched Sallie May's forced drama in the first short where Millie was supportive and didn't let herself be guilted and we watched Blitzø and Millie's (better late than never I suppose) backstory that showed how proud she was at how far they had come. Now she has a big secret and is it her pregnancy? Did she really need drama? Is this the only way she can get a story and we remember her during the break, to have her accompany all others in trauma?

There are times that Moxxie wonders why he sticks around Blitz, why he puts up with the way Blitz talks to him, the way he follows him and Millie around, sticks his nose into their business much more than any boss should. Moxxie's a good shot; he could probably take that skill somewhere else if he really wanted to, find a job where he could clock in, do what was expected of him, and then go home, without anything else involved.
While that might be simpler, that is not something he wants. Blitz had believed in him when no one else had, not even Moxxie himself. Sure, there are times he's frustrated with Blitz, but at this point, he's so much more than his boss: he's his family.
Moxxie had hesitated, had actively rebelled against allowing himself that admission for so long, based solely on the idea of the 'family' he'd grown up with. But he'd been coming to terms with the idea that family was what you made of it. He didn't have to be part of Crimson's 'family' anymore; he could choose his own people. And that meant that he chose I.M.P. They had always been more than just coworkers: Millie was his wife; he and Loona butted heads, but he cared about her, too; and Blitz? Blitz was his best friend, someone he wanted to be proud of him.
He was one of the reasons Moxxie always tried so hard to prove himself, to show that he was worthy of his attention, worthy of his trust. And even though Blitz teased, even though he was purposefully abrasive a lot of the time, he always knew when Moxxie needed something more, something genuine from him. That didn't happen with someone who didn't care.
Moxxie knew that he wouldn't be able to find someone who cared half as much as Blitz did, period. Even in the hard times, when they all had to tighten their belts a little more to keep things going, that was something they could count on: that Blitz cared. About the business, yes, but about them, too. He just had his own way of showing that.
It had taken Moxxie some time to understand that there was a lot more to Blitz than the front he put up. But once he knew that, it was easier to filter through everything. After all, Blitz himself had said that he was hard on Moxxie because he knew what he was capable of, and sometimes, that was exactly what Moxxie needed. He got into his own head, and Blitz helped him to get out of it, to focus on what was important, helped him have confidence in himself.
And now, over the past several months, things had been changing. Ever since the day the prince had been kidnapped and Blitz had rescued him, Blitz had been busy. Between helping to take care of His Highness, running the business, and looking for Striker, they haven't had much time to talk recently. But when they have, Moxxie has definitely noticed the change in Blitz's demeanor.
Other than that, things had been relatively normal, until Blitz got hurt. He still hadn't told them the full story, but it had been bad, enough that he and Loona had both been staying with the prince. Moxxie had done what he could to take care of the business in Blitz's absence, doing his best to step up, to handle situations the way he thought Blitz would. And while he's been doing okay with most of it, he knows that he's not Blitz.
So when Blitz came by the office, Moxxie tried to show him that things had been going well, that they'd been managing okay. They were holding things together, so that he could step right back in when he was ready. Because while the other members of I.M.P. were all capable, they still needed Blitz. He was the heart of the company, and there wouldn't be an I.M.P. without him.
Moxxie had tried to express that, had told Blitz that he'd always be there for him, no matter what, had hoped that he might share more with him. He wanted to be able to be there for Blitz when he needed someone to talk to, hoped that Blitz would understand that he could be more open with him. He wasn't going anywhere, not after everything.
Blitz reaches out, fingers wrapping around Moxxie's wrist. The shorter imp looks up, gaze searching, even thought Blitz isn't looking at him. And when Blitz speaks, when he gets out that quiet, rough sentence (❝ - Please don't leave me. ❞), Moxxie feels his heart twinge.
For a minute, he doesn't say anything, doesn't move, not wanting to disturb this moment. He hesitates, then shifts, putting down the papers he'd been holding, turning so he can face Blitz more directly.
"I am going to hug you now," he murmurs, giving Blitz ample warning, ample opportunity to push him away, to get in a quip, whatever he needs to do. Moxxie gently wraps his arms around his friend as he tells him, his voice soft, "I'm afraid you're stuck with me, Blitz." And there's another, deeper meaning to his words, even if he can't fully come right out and say it just yet: I care about you. We're family.
They've been through a lot together, and if Moxxie has anything to say about it, this is just the beginning. They're all in this for the long haul; I.M.P. is more than just a business. And Moxxie would lay down his life for Blitz if he needed to.
❛ i'll always be here for you, no matter what. just please don't shut me out. ❜ [Moxxie for Blitz] / @helldustedstories
God he's - fucking exhausted.
Does he have any right to be ? He's been out of commission for, like, two fucking weeks at this point - he's been useless, restless to get back to work, but trapped not only by healing injuries but by the darkness swirling in his mind that's been turning his bones into lead and leaving him as listless as he has been antsy. The voices have just been - so fucking loud. Weak, soft, nothing but a burden, you useless sack of shit, you dead fucking weight -
I.M.P., at least, hasn't seemed to suffer much. Objectively ? Fantastic news. And Blitz has kept track of Moxxie's rising to the occasion with growing pride and broadening sorrow all at once. He's always known Moxxie was as capable as they come if he'd just get out of his fucking head and do what he's good at - shooting shit until it dies. And he's getting there; every time he takes point and holds down the fort, he's proven that his confidence is cementing brick by brick.
Of course, Blitz's instinct is that he shouldn't fucking have to hold down the fort - he's only doing it because Blitz wasn't fucking fast enough, strong enough, vigilant enough to keep his ass in one piece. - Eventually, he's going to have to let Moxx know that Crimson is making moves; he hasn't shaken the suspicion that Crimson might simply be trying to clear the playing field to get to his real target.
Beyond the guilt there's just this - deep, abiding fear. Apparently, now that Blitz has taken his walls down with Stolas, he's not great at keeping them up with everyone else. So he has a name for it - has skipped over the self defensive anger and sees the fear for what it is.
He's not strictly needed, anymore. M&M, fuck, even Loona, have proven that in his absence. Blitz doesn't know what to do with that.
When Moxxie speaks, Blitz doesn't react. His gaze is still down at the conference table, at all the papers he hasn't bothered to read through even though he'd spread them out in front of himself, ostensibly to catch up on work. Please don't shut me out.
But that's the goddamn problem. The second he doesn't, the second Moxxie sees that below the façade of selfish asshole, there's still nothing redeemable -
His throat burns and before he can stop himself, Blitz has reached out and wrapped his fingers around Moxxie's wrist.
There's so much he should probably tell him. The logistical - hey, your old man's on the warpath. The necessary - you've been doin' a real good job here. Even a deep, protected truth - after all of it, you were my first friend. You saved me from myself. I'd be lost without you.
What comes out, quiet and rough, is, instead, ❝ - Please don't leave me. ❞
And all he can do is brace himself against how true it is.

So with Ghostfuckers presumably just a little over two weeks away now, I thought it would be a good time to do some theorizing on what we might be seeing.
Now I think it’s pretty clear from the trailer clips we’ve seen that this is going to be THE big Blitzo lore-and-trauma-dump episode. With it looking like whatever demon is running the hotel subjecting Blitzo to all kinds of horrific visions of his past that he’s been desperate to keep buried for the last fifteen years. Specifically what looks to be the aftermath of the circus fire and presumably Blitzo being blamed for everything and being disowned by his family. Which in turn royally fucked him up and left Blitzo the tangled wreck of trauma, grief, guilt and self-loathing hiding beneath a thin veneer of cocky assholishness that we know him as today.
So yeah, it should be a fun time :D
But with Blitzo out of the way, what could we expect from the rest of the main cast this episode?
Well with the clips of Ghostfuckers we have seeming to just show Blitzo and Millie, I think we’re going to get something of a ‘revisit with a twist’ to what we saw in Truthseekers, ie; I.M.P. is split up with two members captured or otherwise put in danger and the other two spending the episode trying to rescue them. With the twist this time being that Moxxie and Millie have swapped places.
To whit; Blitzo and Millie end up getting trapped in this freaky hotel and spend the episode getting subjected to most (though not all…) of the traumatic-flashback-torture visions, trippy hallucinations, body-jacking and general what-the-fuckery while Loona and Moxxie spend the episode trying to break in and save them.
Now one interesting thing about this is that I don’t it’s just going to be Blitzo subjected to these visions. Namely, I think this clip of Blitzo and Millie fighting that many have pegged as a flashback to their first meeting is actually Millie getting one of these traumatic flashback visions. Furthermore, I have a hunch that this flashback is going to closely parallel the one we got to Moxxie first meeting Blitzo back in Exe’s and Oohs; that this was actually a particular or even THE lowest point in Millie’s life, likely coming off of, among other things, her very bad breakup with Chazz (I imagine this is always where we’re going to get that rumored Chazz appearance), and just like with Moxxie, is was actually Blitzo who helped her out of it.
As I detailed in this post, I think this detail of Blitzo having actually been a POSITIVE presence in both Moxxie’s and Millie’s lives is going to wind up being a BIG part of this episodes resolution, ie; the big REBUTTAL to Blitzo’s belief that he ‘makes everyone’s lives worse’.
Moving on to what Loona and Moxxie might be getting up to in this episode, I did say that I think Blitzo and Millie will be getting subject to most, but not ALL of the traumatic-flashback-torture visions. To whit; I wouldn’t be surprised if Loona and Moxxie just subjected to just a bit of these visions as well.
In Moxxie’s case, I imagine this could make for a brief but very strong character moment that showcases both his own growth and shows him as a contrast/foil to Blitzo: Moxxie getting hit with his own traumatic flashbacks, namely those related to his father, but is actually able to fight through them or just shrug them off to show just how much he’s actually processed his trauma.
Whereas in Loona’s case, it could be more of a preview of whatever issues she’s actually got going on. As in, aside from perhaps a quick teasing glimpse, we actually DON’T see any of Loona’s flashback, but instead just how much it messes with her afterwards. Maybe we’ll get something especially fun like the traumatic visions backfiring a bit on the hotel manager by sending Loona into a berserker, murderous rage that leads her to start ripping and tearing through the hotel.
And while we’re on the topic of cool shit Loona might/could/should get to do this episode, what if there is a point where Loona and Moxxie are fully cut off from Blitzo and Millie via freaky demon magic shenanigans and have no way to get to them without the Asmodean Crystal, which Blitzo still has, or some other form of portal magic. Only for Loona, in a moment of sheer anger, fear and desperation, to rip open one of those portals she used to make all the time, but now WITHOUT the use of the Goetic Grimoire, to get to Blitzo and Millie.
Basically, I’d really like to see a payoff to all the hints we’ve gotten that Loona is actually a serious prodigy with magic :D
And going back to the potential parallels with Truthseekers, I’m definitely also hoping we end on a big, awesome fight scene between I.M.P. and whatever the hotel owner is that’s been fucking with them.
Finally, when it comes to the ending coda of the episode, as I alluded to earlier I think this episode is going to represent a MAJOR character-shift for Blitzo: In the form of Moxxie and Millie not only getting a front-row seat to what Blitzo is really dealing with, but also (along with Loona) making it clear just how much they actually CARE about Blitzo. Notably in a way that Blitzo can’t write off, rationalize and deny like he did with Stolas and all his other romantic partners, ie; Moxxie and Millie consider Blitzo a friend that they CARE about.
#helluva boss#helluva boss theory#helluva blitzo#helluva millie#helluva moxxie#helluva loona#loona#in which the blitzo trauma train has no breaks#though it might just end with him finally getting that threesome... XD#might need to make those loona theories their own post

In my feefees again today thinking about Moxxie and Blitzø and their friendship and how Mox needed exactly someone like Blitzø in his life precisely in that moment
Like, Moxxie was brought up in a cold mansion with a man that sucked as a father, that killed his mother when he was little, mistreated him, abused him and neglected him, pushing him to act in a certain way and never appreciating his true self and not even his sexuality and boyfriend. Boyfriend who is actually a whole lot questionable, but hey you have fun, he is (sort of) nice, and you're great partners even on the field, doing heists together and so. Except like wait hold on he just ran away? You got trapped during the job the police arrived and he left with the stolen goods leaving you there? And like hell your father will come to the rescue and deal with the cops because that would mean risking his own mafia empire, so I guess this is it? You're alone now?
Except the weird guy you share your cell with has a plan to evade and even tho you haven't spoken to him not even once since you've been there he's already so willing to make you part of it so you two can escape together?? He doesn't even know you?? And, let's be real, knowing Moxxie he probably panicked and/or fainted once or twice while trying to run away from the prison, questioning some things perhaps slowing them down and getting caught but this weirdo still didn't leave him behind?? Even though he most likely cussed him out half of the time, questioned his brain and body faculties and had to forcibly move him around because he couldn't run fast enough at the right moments but still he never dumped him?? They successfully got out of prison together?? This complete stranger offered him a helping hand ad despite everything he never let go?? And the main reason he did this was actually because he had to come home to his daughter because he cares for her and doesn't want to be too late???
No wonder Moxxie never looked back

hiiii can you do separate stolas, Blitzø, and fizzaroli relationship headcannons? Srry if that’s too much
Blitzo x reader
Stolas x reader
A/n: I did not write Fizzarolli as you did not say you want him as polyrelationship with Asmodeus or not, sorry
Stolas
Stolas is just perfect for relationships
He's literally a piece of the green flag
Yes, he had a very bad first relationship, but that's why he's willing to work in a new one
In the series itself, he said that he tried to make Stella comfortable in their relationship, and it is clear that he succeeded, it's just that Stella is a crazy bitch
He's definitely going to be fun with him, and he's generally willing to try to understand your hobbies and participate in them
He will also be quite active in trying to draw you into his
You know the names of all the colors (at least desperately pretend)
Oh and yes, you definitely have couples suits, Stolas has been wanting to try this for a very long time, so once you agree, he will literally kick his legs for joy
You will most likely have a good relationship with Octavia, she needs an adequate mother figure
You'll move in with Stolas pretty quickly since you're on a formal relationship
You'll watch TV shows all night and then sleep sweetly all day
He officially loves cuddling, so you'll be together all the time
Oh, and he has money, literally money, if you want to go somewhere, then naturally he will go with you
You will accompany him to official events and he will gladly introduce you to anyone who asks
Blitzo
He will also be good in a relationship
We see how he takes care of his "family", so you are incredibly important to him
He will always be somewhere pockmarked with you, as he is a person of physical affection
You will be told about the activities of the HSM
He'll literally brag about you to Moxxie and Millie, because yes
You've got a chance to get a cop=a campaign consisting of Luna and Blitzo AND you to go to a party
He'll try to cook something for you (he's not going to succeed)
You'll get some trinkets from the human world
How safe are you? WELL, 50/50, What are the chances that you will be rescued? 100%, and very fast
You'll have to calm him down in his depressive moments
Perhaps you go to a psychologist with him several times
You are praised as a celestial, everybody else, because when you appeared, he stopped meddling with others
You'll hug with him too, but he's not going to let you go at all
I hope you enjoyed it!
I am so sorry for doing that sooo long! My middle exams took all out of me

strap in, this one's a long post
I had an idea of how they could fix Millie that would make her more interesting without stapling an angsty backstory onto her:
Have her marriage with Moxxie go into a bumpy patch or fall apart completely.
It's kind of a throwaway line, but Millie in Unhappy Campers points out that she's let down that Moxxie hasn't supported her half as much as she's supported him that week. She went with his stupid idea to investigate even though she spotted the guilty party immediately and she tried to help him befriend the teenagers just because his ego was hurt. And that's been their dynamic consistently throughout the show - Moxxie is the neurotic one, the one who needs reassurance and is insecure. Short of having her tell Blitzo to knock it off when he's mean to Moxxie (and he is their boss) I don't think Moxxie could ask for a more supportive wife.
So have that evolve into the problem. Have Millie have some minor frustrations that Moxxie doesn't notice or support her with, but she's constantly supporting his attempts to become a better assassin and impress her parents/Blitzo. Have Moxxie be good at romantic gestures and dates but not the emotional work of being there for her since he's always preoccupied with his own problems. Have Millie be frustrated not just with him but everyone assuming that they're just this effortlessly perfect couple and that she has no problems of her own, even though she's the one carrying a lot of the team's weight on assassinations if Blitzo and Moxxie mess up.
Have it get worse when Millie does get another external stressor - maybe she has an argument with Sallie Mae or her siblings, maybe her parents get sick or something goes sideways with the farm and she can't just go home. And right when she needs Moxxie to actually pick up some of the slack at work or at home, he isn't there for her because he's too distracted by issue of his own that's much smaller by comparison but Moxxie blowing it out of proportion gives Millie another thing to be stressed with.
Right before they have a massive fight, the relationship stresses can work in to the stol1tz plotline. Maybe explain Millie isn't as mad at Moxxie at Blitzo intruding in their relationship because she realizes he just wants what they have and can't admit it. But have Millie simultaneously start to project her own relationship problems onto Blitzo/Stolas. At first it's just the surface level similarities - Moxxie is more of a sophisticate who likes musicals and opera, just like the educated Stolas. But then she starts to see that both Stolas and Moxxie have the trait of being sweet on the surface but being all take and no give, then sensitive enough to make everyone assume Millie is the one blowing up for no reason (Moxxie does this by accident where Stolas does it habitually, of course). This actually gives Millie's relationship with Blitzo some texture, since he's trying his best to get M&M to make up because he thinks they're perfect and Millie keeps getting frustrated trying to get Blitzo to see that she's not what he's projecting onto her.
It's when she tells him all the issues with her family and how she can't deal with Moxxie's issues on top of it and she feels like she's drowing alone that it clicks for Blitzo, because that's exactly what he's going through with Stolas, who expects Blitzo to rescue him from his own problems and fulfil his romantic fantasies at all hours of the day. But it terrifies him too because if relatively nice demons like M&M can't make it work, what chance does he have?
Use this to inform her relationship with Loona, too. Without Millie there the office falls into nonstop tension. The writers said Millie is the heart - use her absence to actually show it, because everyone is just fighting constantly and there's no one to right the ship.
Maybe also interrogate the other pillars of Millie's identity. She seems self-actualised, so instead of giving her angst attack the things that makes her sure of herself. Maybe when her marriage begins to struggle her family uses it as an excuse to attack her choice of husband and her "freelance" work. Millie feels like she's failed leaving home, she should have never left the farm. She has to define herself outside of Moxxie and her job. She has to figure out a source of strength within herself. And have Sallie Mae, the one who complained about missing her, be the one to encourage to go out and look because she loves Millie selflessly enough to know she belongs in the city and wants more than staying in the Wrath ring.
And since Moxxie isn't Stolas, have him wise up, apologize and actually change to support her more and help her through whatever the challenge is she's facing. He doesn't immediately get more confident but he stops using Millie as his go-to fix and pick me up for all his problems, especially the little ones. Then they get back together just in time for a second anniversary, with the punchline being them expecting Blitzo to crash their next date - except he doesn't. Because he's learnt better than to keep doing it, and he knows he needs to work on his own relationships. But in his case, he'll soon realize when he tries to make things up with Stolas that Stolas is not Moxxie, and he should just leave since nothing short of being a slave to Stolas' every whim will be good enough. That way the show displays how love is worth fighting for with M&M, but not when abuse is involved.
I love everything about this. The character development all around, Moxxie and Millie growing as people, Blitzo growing as a person and realizing he deserves better than Stolas...even Sallie Mae gets something real and substantial to do! It's everything this show should have been!

I really like the relationship between millie, moxxie, and stolas.
When the series first started I wasn't expecting them to interact much, but from Loo Loo Land, to help look for Octavia they feel like they come a long way.
Especially in this episode. They volunteer to rescue Stolas, Like maybe they're just doing it for revenge on Striker of maybe it's because they know that Blitz cares more than he lets on.
These two know better than anyone how much Blitz and Stolas care for each other.
They know this will hit Blitz really hard. Especially Millie which is why I love my girl. She's so concerned for both Stolas and Blitz It's awesome.

Loona started off as a fan favorite, but as the series progressed, some hate her for being your typical "misunderstood teenage goth girl" who is bratty, temperamental and mistreats others around her as little more than nuisances, even her adoptive father, Blitzo.
Background and Trauma
Loona exhibits a complex personality shaped by a traumatic upbringing. Her behavior is rooted in her experiences at the Hellhound Adoption Foundation, where she was raised by uncaring caretakers. Devoid of affection and subjected to violence for disobedience, Loona's formative years were marred by isolation and mistreatment. This harsh reality of her childhood in the orphanage left her with deep-seated trust issues and an inability to properly give or receive love, influencing her interactions with others, including her adoptive father Blitz.
The so-called "adoption center" looks like a cross between a run-down dog pound and a juvenile detention center, with most of the hellhounds Blitzo sees looking malnourished or deformed. When he sees Loona, her cellmate is threatening her with a bloody nail bat before she flings him at the bars, growling and then she starts crying, looking more like a frightened, feral dog than anything. The social worker's indifferent description of her in her emotionally dead tone doesn't help, saying all this directly in front of Loona's cell, and only highlights how lonely Loona's life had been for almost eighteen years.
Loona's living space gets more tragic the longer you look at it. The back and side walls are covered in tally marks scratched into the tile. And there's a typical "Hang in there!" poster ripped with obvious claw marks, making it clear Loona had long given up hope of being adopted into a family. There are some drawings on the walls of Loona with storm clouds above her head and a giant version of her stomping on a city. Either they were drawn by Loona in which case they show just how frustrated and fed up with the world she has become over the years, or they were drawn by the other hellhound kids who only see her as a vicious monster.
The fact that this place is essentially a pound and not an adoption place paints Loona's situation as much grimmer. They're not treated as individuals but as animals and would normally just leave as rescued dogs. When the social worker mentions that Loona will age out it's implied that it doesn't mean that she's exactly leaving safe & sound.
You can also see that Loona takes a look at her tally marks, and as it lines up with the social worker's statement on her aging out, it wordlessly states Loona knows about this. Whether she's put to sleep or kicked out ownerless, it's a cloud of pitch-black dread she can do nothing about except countdown to.
The social worker's dialogue makes it clear how hellhounds are treated in this world. They're not treated as sentient individuals; instead, they're valued for either being strong laborers or cute family pets. Loona is both strong and beautiful, but being a self-actualized person with internal struggles and self-preservation instincts makes her undesirable. For an imp, one of the lowest creatures in Hell's hierarchy, to be able to adopt a hellhound as a pet or servant shows that despite their strength, they're seen and treated as even lower than imps.
If Blitzo hadn't adopted her, Loona would apparently have "aged out of the system" and been "out of the kennel's hair". This could simply mean that Loona would be kicked out, but given a mix of how scared she looked, the way hellhounds are treated in this setting and what sometimes happens to real dogs when they're deemed too old for adoption…
Personality
Loona's past manifested in various aspects of her demeanor. Her reluctance to perform her job may stem from a newfound appreciation for freedom, contrasting with her previously constrained life. Her agreessive nature, particularly towards characters like Moxxie, can be seen as a defensive mechanism, a way to assert control in situations where she might feel vulnerable.
Blitzo's adoption of her before she aged out ensured her gratitude and was why she didn't leave him. But years of hardship have made it hard for her to open up to him properly. Despite her tough exterior, moments of genuine vulnerability reveal her social awkwardness and desire for connection, which she struggles to navigate due to her lack of social experience.
Loona is shown throughout the series to have a strong aversion to being touched, reacting either with threatening growls or violence. However, her aversion to being touched might've stem from her past in the adoption center, yet she can handle being touched when she's the one initiating the contact, as seen when she allows Octavia to hug her and then holds her hand through the portal. That being said, she never reacted aggressively to Blitzo's affections beforehand, so this felt out of place, even for her.
Social Skills
Loona seems to be hiding some deep insecurities and feelings of loneliness, having never had any friends before meeting Vortex and briefly glancing with visible sadness at a picture of an happy family in "Murder Family", which implies Loona does wish to have good relationships in her life, but is unable to due to her tendency to see the bad in people and vent out her frustrations on others, including (and, arguably, especially) those who try to be nice or fatherly to her, like her adoptive father Blitzo.
However, after having been friend-zoned by Vortex, Loona didn't resent him and kept in touch with him, becoming great friends with him and going to parties with him, which might be making her more open to people and less hostile, as she's gradually becoming less rude and apathetic towards her co-workers.
Father-Daughter Relationship
Blitzo is her adoptive father, but she almost always refers to him by his name since she doesn't like showing the fact that she cares about him. That said, there are times where she slips up: on Instagram, she was so worried about him being kidnapped that she straight out called him "dad", though she immediately tried to walk it back out of embarrassment by claiming she was just upset that food was running low in their home. In "Spring Broken", she was so flustered with seeing Vortex that she almost slipped and called Blitzo "dad" before catching herself.
Once, she showed to be more than capable of both showing affection to and taking care of Blitzo: when he became severely intoxicated at Vortex and Queen Bee-lzebub's party to numb his pain after having rejected Stolas, she drove and carried him back to I.M.P. headquarters, set him on the couch and covered him with a blanket. When Blitzo shared his insecurities regarding loneliness and asked her if she'd be by him once he met his end, Loona promised him she would, showing her seriousness and true care by willingly calling him "dad".
Sisterly Bond
For the longest time, Loona and Octavia never met each other, only being connected to each other through their dads being in a rather complicated relationship with each other. This changed one day when Octavia snuck into I.M.P.'s office to obtain her father's grimoire so she can watch a meteor shower on Earth on her own. Loona actually spots Octavia trying to sneak in, but deliberately chooses not to say anything (partly because of lingering anger from a discussion she had with her father earlier).
As Loona approaches Octavia when she finally finds her, she's incredibly gentle with the girl and even compliments her on her photos. Loona rags on Blitzo at the beginning of "Seeing Stars", even physically assaulting him. But on Earth, she ultimately does do what he wants in finding Octavia, confiding in her that she recognizes that Blitzo is trying to be a good dad to her. It's as close as Loona gets to admitting that maybe things with Blitzo aren't as bad as she's ever gotten.
When Loona asks Octavia if she's ready to go while extending her hand out to her, Octavia gives the grimoire over to Loona and hugs her, glad to have someone who listened to her and can relate to. Previous episodes have shown that Loona does NOT like physical affection, shown most often with Blitzo. Yet here, Loona accepts and even returns Octavia's hug with no resistance whatsoever. It's even better since Loona was the one who initiated the contact. She holds her hand out to Octavia twice as though to help her stand up and looks a little confused when Octavia instead hands her the book the first time.
Conclusion
So far, I can see that Loona's character among fans is kinda mixed. While some viewers are sympathetic with her traumatic past and understand her defensive behavior, others find her attitude off-putting, which is understandable. It's also understandable that due to her recent absence and lack of dialogues during the second season, Loona's VA was probably given time to grieve due to the losing her partner and probably a busy schedule with other projects.
