HELLO INTERNET. 🫵🏻
I (<- System) have a SimplyPlural account with 384 members logged and quite... some.... not logged in. The thing is... I need the whole thing organized, but motivation is my worst enemy.
And so I saw this trend going around a while back where people went "5 likes and I do this, 10 likes and I do this, 100 likes and I do this" and I wanna do this too, but with a twist.
For every interaction I get on this post, I finish one of our simply plural profiles. And for every 10 profiles I get done, you 🫵🏻 get to see the profiles... or... I don't know maybe I'll draw someones request or something (I can draw, trust me /hj). I feel like drawings will be more fun, but this is so up to whatever you folks want.
Why do this? Because pressure from others is the only way I can get things done! So help a buddy out! Maybe I'll draw your silly ideas as a thank you if you leave a note in my inbox! 🫵🏻

I don't see this talked about very often, so shout out to the non-disordered systems who have disordered traits!
Shout out to non-disordered systems who have dissociation!
Shout out to non-disordered systems who experience dissociation between switches!
Shout out to non-disordered systems who struggle to ground themselves!
Shout out to non-disordered systems who experience dissociation which is totally unrelated to their plurality!
Shout out to non-disordered systems who have amnesia!
Shout out to non-disordered systems who have strong barriers between members, making it hard or impossible to share memories!
Shout out to non-disordered systems who are amnesiac due to a traumatic brain injury, rather than their plurality!
Shout out to non-disordered systems who forget things easily and have to write notes to remember!
Shout out to non-disordered systems who have to write notes to be able to communicate with other members!
Shout out to non-disordered systems who have both dissociation and amnesia!
And shout out to all the other non-disordered systems who have disordered traits and combinations of traits which I haven't mentioned here!
Too often, we see the assumption that dissociation and/or amnesia + system = disordered, and as a non-disordered system who experiences dissociation ourselves, it's somewhat frustrating to feel left out of the discussions. To be disordered, there needs to be the key element of clinically-significant distress.
So, to everyone from the most dissociated, amnesiac system out there who doesn't feel distress from their symptoms, to the system who has only occasional bouts of dissociation from sensory issues, to the system who has difficulty remembering things due to brain injury, this post goes out to you!

Saw an anon somewhere else make a great point and we wanted to elaborate on it:
There should NOT be the hard lines between concepts of traumagenesis and endogenesis that currently exist in the plural community. There's a ton of overlap between the two in reality, and it's a little disconcerting that while "endogenic" is very explicitly an umbrella term, "traumagenic" is constantly considered a singular origin with no leeway, and anything not labeled specifically with that word (EVEN when the definition explains trauma is involved) is thrown under "endo" by medicalists & anti-endos.
Have people not come around to the understanding that "traumagenic" is also an umbrella term? That there are many, many ways for a system to be traumagenic, and sometimes those ways entangle inseparably from other origins? Has no thought gone to the autigenic-identifying system whose plurality came from masking trauma? To the soulbonder that connected with their companion out of desperate isolation and pain? If it were not for the manufactured divide claiming "traumagenic" as singular and separate, there would be a wide range of terminology and conceptions to describe the various ways one can be traumagenic, and it'd be a dramatic boon to the traumagenic plural & CDD communities.
Instead, we're severely lacking in a significant point of plural understanding because of the lateral aggression around here, and it's extremely damaging to our progress as a marginalized group attempting to make our voices heard and understood. How can we articulate the way traumagenesis and endogenesis intertwine and contrast if we're too afraid to even look?
The origin binary in the plural community needs to end. If "endogenic" can have many specific origins fall under it then so can "traumagenic".

Hi, this blog is a paragenic (system origin from paracosms, immersive daydreaming and/or madd), endogenic, tulpa, imaginary friend blog. If you are those things, accepting of those things, and interested in what an imaginary friend has to say, please follow. The host is based in a median system of plurality. I am looking for mutuals.

being a system is so chaotic and hilarious- like what do you mean we have a hobo member who fronts everytime we take a bath. what do you mean there’s a rat dude whose building a rat army in our innerworld’s sewers and he’s based off our IRL arch nemesis. what do you mean we watched the new mlp to see how bad it was and the main character just appeared in our head. what do you mean that one is just a dog. what do you mean that’s robin hood. what do you mean we’ve never been to russia but a third of the members of our system are russian. what do you mean edward norton is just here and he’s a gay cowboy and pastor of a church. what do you mean the imaginary made up world we live in is a post apocalyptic wasteland where all of humanity has been wiped out and we’re the only ones left and we live in abandoned buildings and makeshift army camps but you don’t mind because you’re allowed to smoke in the bars again. what do you mean the eddsworld characters are here. what do you mean a famous dead punk musician called our ex abuser a loser to his face. what do you mean there’s a sheep who formed because we were told to count sheep to fall asleep as a kid and we took it too literally. what do you mean i need to hop a train just to go this party in our innerworld with you. what do you mean there’s a weed alien. what do you mean this is not the only system in this body. what do you mean “oh you’re not allowed to know about that” uhm THIS IS MY MIND? what do you MEAN 😭🙏

Alright, now for some positive system things since we ended up getting involved in the syscourse rabbit hole, again.
We're mixed origin, primarily traumagenic, but we have a couple of exceptions.
Firstly, if we're constantly experiencing trauma by simply existing, its hard to differentiate trauma, depression, anxiety, and traumagenic/non traumagenic headmates.
Origin is hard, we don't have all the answers. Fuck half of us don't know what we look like sometimes.
However, there is one. One of us.
Stoat.
Stoat is a fictive, from the game Inscryption. Stoat has no system role, and simply eats mayonaise, while wearing a singular suit jacket, and only that singular suit jacket.
Stoat is not evil, or trying to take away system spaces from traumagenic systems.
The only thing stoat takes away from us as a traumagenic majority system, is our fucking mayonaise it needs to stop eating our mayonaise please for the love of god /j

HELLO INTERNET 🫵🏻
And welcome to "I'm actually keeping my promise of working on SimplyPlural", the internet show where I (the amazing host) decide to update you with my newest simplyplural nonsense!
On my pinned (if you haven't seen it, you should absolutely check it out <- shameless promo), I also said I might aswell share some of our new simplyplural profiles... here:
Tumblr media
These are 3 out of the 30 profiles I have done (and the 400+ profiles I need to do) but ... everyone starts somewhere!
They're very simple, but honestly? With as many members as we have, that's probably the easiest way to keep up with all of this. Most information (such as age, likes, triggers, etc) are now instead stored in the super amazing custom fields section;
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will keep you all 🫵🏻 updated. (Also: thank you so much for all the motivation and kind words, that were left in the comments 🫵🏻 you are awesome! 600 notes in just 5 days is 599 more notes than I expected when uploading the original post)
I want to share our folders and everything eventually; and hope to finish all our profiles over this next week now!
ALSO for those of you who send in art request, don't worry >:) I'm working on them

The plural community is full of so many nice and awesome people; it's just that the hateful voices are the loudest sometimes. We can be loud too, but the quiet ones are also here, and there're so many more of us than they realize. We're still a community and we still share solidarity

ok i promise this isn't like, attacking you or anything this is a /genuine question lol but, i was under the assumption that "mixed origin" meant that some parts were endogenic, some were traumagenic, some were this, some were that, etc. but you say you're mixed origin, and "completely traumagenic." so, what do you mean by that? are there, like, subsets to being traumagenic? obviously you don't have to tell me the specifics, but i would think those two terms are mutually exclusive, right?
(This is totally grading, right??? I'll grade at noon)
I love this question, honestly, and thank you so much for asking!
Mixed-origin means that there are multiple origins in the system. For my origins, all of us fall under the label traumagenic -- we all formed due to the trauma we've experienced -- but I also find it helpful to utilize other, more specific origin labels.
For instance, we have two parts whose origins we deem as created. One was created in a manner similar to what I've seen from tulpamancy communities, even though I was unaware at the time that I was doing it. I did it specifically to process traumatic experiences I was having. The other was purposefully created by another part of mine through traumatic experiences -- she set out specifically to make us split.
So, while both of those parts were traumagenic in nature, it's been helpful to acknowledge their created origins.
The other part who adds to our origin list has a custom label, Dreamway, or "by way of dreams." He split during a nightmare of ours, one that still fucks us up to think about. Then he immediately went dormant, and then later re-emerged at a later trauma. Acknowledging how he split and why has been really helpful for our recovery, because that dream was really indicative of a lot of issues that we needed to discuss.
So -- while my entire system is traumagenic, we also have other origin labels that are equally as vital to our system's presentation. None of them are endogenic, as none of them were formed without trauma. I hope that makes sense!

The concept of "I think there should be traumagenic focused spaces that dont include endogenics" totally falls apart once ya remember mixed origin systems exist. Just because somebody's traumagenic doesn't mean they're not also endogenic, and by cutting out all endos you're automatically gonna be cutting out systems that NEED trauma focused spaces. Separation isn't the answer and we're not as far apart as you might think. Write your spaces to include, not exclude
