I hate when some anti endos think that you have to be miserable in order to be a system. (don't get me wrong its perfectly fine to be sad, upset or depressed, etc. as a system!) but like, why can’t we just be silly and full of whimsy even? A system posts that they’re happy to be a system and immediately “you’re faking being a system!” Cause some of them think you can’t *like* being a system. Like can’t we be happy? Can’t we be thankful?

I will never understand how people believe endogenic systems are “ faking it ” or “ aren’t real systems . ” Who are you to say that someone is or isn’t part of a system ? You do not know them and you do not know their experiences . It is not your place . Endogenics have never hurt you and they never will . It is disrespectful and unnecessary to criticize them for something you cannot and should not criticize them for . Some of us have already posted about anti endogenics before , but I have yet to express my anger on it . We ourselves are an endogenic [ or atleast somewhat endogenic , we may be mixed origin ] system . Endo systems are not harming you by being what we are and we do not need to be criticized for it . I showed literal proof from the ICD that endos (specifically non-disordered) systems exist and this was their response😭 I just asked for their sources that endos "don't exist" and I'll see if they give me actual sources. but using their logic they won't because "it's embarrassing and mean to give sources" or whatever.

I will not be showing their account, I don't want anyone sending hate to them or anything. being hateful WON'T help. as they say, fighting fire with fire makes it worse. I was trying to be as nice as possible when asking for their sources, though my social disorders could have made me sound different sadly. I'll update if I get a response.

PSA this was on bluesky, which I had heard was one of the more pro-endo social media sites but maybe I was wrong. because I found this while trying to find pro-endo stuff🫠

what is "pro endo"? /genq

Endo, aka endogenic, is a term used for plurals/systems whose origin is not based/solely based in trauma. They can form for many different reasons, but endo plurals are specifically formed due to means unrelated to traumatic events. Endo plurals do not claim to have DID/OSDD (which is something a lot of people mistakenly assume), and are not romanticizing/normalizing mental disorders. Being pro endo means that you are supportive of endo plurals, or at least recognize that they exist and are a valid form of plurality. Endo plurals have been greatly debated on and discussed on whether they “exist” and whether they deserve to be supported and recognized as plural. I’m definitely not an expert on endos and plurals/systems in general, so I highly suggest looking into other means of learning. All I can say is just because you don’t understand it, or is something more new/recently discussed, doesn’t mean they’re any less valid.

Any systems/plurals (of any origin, I don’t care!) out there can definitely add to this conversation. PLEASE DON’T DERAIL INTO SYSCOURSE OR ARGUMENTS ABOUT VALIDITY

I SUPPORT ENDOGENIC SYSTEMS!

I support systems that are inherent and have always been there. Yes this includes systems who weren't aware they were collectively a system for any amount of time.

I support systems that kinda just showed up one day, whether suddenly or gradually, or in any other timeframe.

I support systems who's members self identify as endogenic because the label resonates with them.

I support mixed origin systems. I support systems who don't identify with any origin. I support individual alters who don't identify with any origin, or who identify as endogenic or traumagenic or any other origin there could possibly be.

I support individual alters who's self identification "contradicts" that of other headmates.

I support support systems that initially identify as endogenic and later realise they're traumagenic, AND vice versa. I support systems who originally identify as one of the above and then realise they don't know, or don't fit into either category. I support changing labels and self discovery and change.

I support individual alters who change their origin labels or lack thereof.

I support systems who's members are all blurry around the edges and bleed into each other, regardless of how that impacts them as a system.

I support systems who use singular pronouns to refer to the system as a whole.

I support ALL systems. I will not sit here and argue with someone about the validity of someone else's existence. I may not be able to change someone else's views but I can very much curate this space and define it as a safe space for systems of all origins, no exceptions.
